5 more Aircraft that should be in War Thunder

The F-111s ejection animation might be real interesting since it had the whole cockpit capsule deal going on

I would really love for the F-106 Delta Dart to be added, as well as more of the "century planes."

The Cessna A-37 Dragonfly is something I'd like to see get added. The YB-40 (B-17 converted to an escort role) could work if bombers are reworked. Another addition is the P-75 Eagle (basically a P-51 mixed with a P-39 that has 10 .50cals)

The F-111 could be a pretty cool aircraft to show as the main aviation addition for an update, and it could really fill a gap below the rank 6 F-105D, but knowing gaijin, if it was added there, they would put it in rank 8 after the bombers, so in total 3 people would have it

If they did add the f111 it would also be a good opportunity to add fuel dumping because it’s really annoying having to guess how much fuel you’ll need and if you get into a dogfight a lot earlier than you expected to would be good to have the option to lighten yourself

Still want an F101 Voodoo, the F111 (give Britain the Australian one seeing as at one point Britain was getting their own 111’s until Mcnamara pulled a fast one). Definitely want the A-37 Dragonfly, they definitely could make that a premium at tier 7. Other than that - Singaporean Hawker Hunter for Britain (after the F.6) - Singaporean/Thai F5E- Tiger 2’s for israel/ USA (Thai had Python 3 & 4’s and HMD), Singaporean had Aim120’s.

I’d love to see the F-111, I think it be cool if they also add the Naval B variant in the game as a premium

The F-111 has been on my wishlist for a while now. As mentioned in the video, it could be a nice tactical bomber addition for both the US and Commonwealth tech trees. It could also be fitted with a forward-firing 20mm M61 Vulcan so would have some self-defense capabilities (providing it could survive all the missile spam).

A plane I became aware of today is the SNCASE Barodeur, which was a light French transconic fighter with five built and supposedly relatively nimble. That and the Magister would really help with adding variety in early French jets. If Gajin did a bomber rework sort of update, then I'd also put forward two odd ducks, the A-5 Vigilante and the Mirage 4, the former of which was a Mach 2 capable carrier based bomber, and the latter of which is a twin-engine Mirage. The bomber rework would be absolutely mandatory for them to arrive though, since as far as I know they didn't really have offensive armaments, and like so many nuclear-focused bombers of the late 50s saw diminished utility as bomber, in favor of a recon role. Vark vark vark!

if the F-111 does come, the UK TT could get both the F-111C and the F-111K, the unique veriant planned for the UK, while not put into production it would be a nice addition nonetheless

I want more variants of the mig-17, china gets the mig17F but USSR doesn't, very annoying. I really want MiG-17PFU in the game, and su15 Because that's literally what the J-8 is based off so why not. Edit: how could I forget about the Australian CAC Sabre that has 2 30mm Adens and Aim9bs, could fit perfectly in 9.0 below the Scimitar F Mk.1 and above the Phantom FG.1 in Great Britain.

5:10 I'd love to see the original FJ Fury, the one that was basically a fat naval jet fighter made from parts of a P-51

I really want the F4U-5 and the F8F-2, both would be great 6.7s or 6.3s due to their crazy performance. It might not be good but the FR-1 would be pretty funny to play with the jet and prop power, could catch a lot of players off guard, it be like a 4.0 aircraft

F-106, Su-15, Avro Arrow, Mig-25PD, Mig-31, F-111, Su-24, Me-262 HG1 are 8 aircraft i feel could fit in the game now. Some not great but still could fit in the game.

For the defiant, the ai gunners might need ti be buffed slightly to make it capable of the ai gunners killing or atleast damaging enemy aircraft whilst the player purely focus on flying

I'd like to see more Australian planes in the game, like the CAC Sabre and CAC Kangaroo Edit: The Pig would be nice too

An aircraft I’d love to see is the A-37B Dragonfly, used as CAS in Vietnam, it was never really talked about but they did an amazing job, it’d be really awesome having one flying in ground RB

Hello there, I have had a list for a while. After nearly 6500 hours in WT as the French I have some options. Mirage 4000, XF8U-3 Crusader III, Avro Arrow, Mirage A3-42 IIIO, A3-103 IIID and the Alpha Jet.

Australian F-111, Sea Harrier FA.2, BAE Hawk T1, BAE Hawk 300 series(?, some number I don’t remember), Supermarine Spiteful, Fairy Battle, CAC Kangaroo, CAC/Canadian Sabre, Tornado GR1B(with anti-shipping missiles, B variant was anti-shipping, could be an addition to GR1 in game), TSR2+Avro Arrow if possible, F/A-18A, F-15A?

I fell in love with the Aardvark when using it in Wargame Airland Battle. Such a great bomber and I would love to be able to fly it in War Thunder.

Honestly we could have another "starfighters" update where the F-111 is the main vehicle added, but a bunch of nations get it

I want to see an F-16 XL in war thunder maybe in someform of an event or something even though the Eagle won in the ETF Competition, but technicaly the F-16 XL wasnt retired until 2009 because of Nasa using it for aeronautical research so you can say it was in service?

This was a great vid too see come up in my feed ash and the list is top notch, the F-111 and Su-25 are 2 of my most anticipated aircraft and when they come will be the first vehicles I go for, that F-10 peaks my interest as well as that v tail trainer, two more float planes I want are the Martin P-5M and P-6M sea master

I put in a vehicle request for the XF2Y-1 Sea dart. Its pretty much an F-106 but designed to float in the water. Made when America couldn't decide on whether to invest in new carriers for the 50's or into floating jet aircraft. This was the first of a handful of attempts that were funded and fully produced. There are 4 surviving prototypes, it could go mach 1 in a shallow dive. It had the same 4 colt machine cannons as the f11f-1, 2 aim 9 b's and it could carry unguided rockets. Honestly it would probably be an instant classic in game for how funky it is.

Love to see the XF10F Jaguar especially if they added the ability for the pilot to climb out on the nose after a crash (soft) landing.

I would love to see the F-111 Arvark as well! Also maybe the B-29 gunship model. B-52 AND B1 Lancer would be nice. Also what about the Avro Vulcan for Britian would be nice as well.

2:19 they were not retired in 1939 (idk when exactly they were retired) but they only retired from daylight combat in 1940 after huge losses during the Battle of Britain. Also 264 Squadron (the first to be equipped with the Defiant) still holds the record of most claimed kills in a day for a single squadron. As mentionned, it did not have forward-firing mgs, but the turret also couldn't fire in the front because of the cockpit... I wonder why 109Es ended up going headon against the Defiants...

I have advocated in the past for the Aardvark and thr Defiant. I think the other 3 on your list are good nominations.

Among my first picks for aircraft in warthunder, I would implement generally eastern block types like the Yugoslavs, Czechs and Poles and Romanians. Specifically I'd love to see the J-21, J-22, G-2 and G-4s as early jet aircraft along with the L-39 albatros and L-29 Delfin, they seem like unique aircraft types that can diversify early matches.

I would personally even though i know it probably wouldnt get added is the avro vulcan at 8.0 since it could either replace or be within a group with a Canberra

When the F-111's used to take off when I was living in the dorms as a young Airman in the late 80s and early 90s they would shake the windows there was nothing like it it was great.

one plane i really want to see is the B-36 Peacemaker. its combination of jet and prop engines is interesting and it was the primary bomber of Strategic Air Command (SAC) until it was replaced by the Stratofortress

with the F-111 i've always thought a good way to add it to war thunder is by having the F-111A be a tech tree aircraft and then add the C model as a squadron vehicle to compliment the M1A1 AIM

I’ve been saying they need to add the F-111 for awhile. There’s a pretty big gap between the F-105 and the end of the tech tree and the F-111 variants would fit nicely there.

I would really love an aardvark in war thunder, it would fill the really empty bomber category, or even be in the strike aircraft category with different abilities and changes to the airframe, bombs, gun, nuke, missiles, and you can taunt with a unique dump and burn

I would kill to have the A-37B dragonfly in game. I love light strike aircraft especially converted trainers

Would love to see the Aardvark I like the idea you got there of the Australian aircraft being added as a premium for either rhe USA or Britain, when it comes to commonwealth vehicles though they normally go to other tech trees for some reason so I'd reckon it'd be shoved in as a premium for USA

i was an advocate for the defiant back in like 2016 lol i can back that. aardvark would be a nice addition though i think the tornado might stop its addition to the British tree specifically. I would like to see the Hawk T1A in game, its a trainer aircraft still used today but this modification was done long ago as a replacement fighter upgrade in the case of a war with russia. It could carry 2 aim 9 L missiles and one ADEN gunpod underslung.

Personally? I would like to see the likes of the Su-24, the F6U-1 Pirate and the FM series of Wildcats at some point.

The Defiant was not retired in 1939, that's when it was introduced. It was retired in 1942 from active service

i'd personally love to see an aussie aardvark in the general british tech tree, i've collected all the aussie aircraft i know of in warthunder, except that limited time boomerang since i'd basically just be buying 2 500kg bombs for the boomerang i already have, an aussie f111 would be motivation to get the f4 so i can grind to top tier uk air and get good CAS for my challenger

With the reliant u could do an event with all the types in a custom battle setting just like that cell shaded april fools thing. Maybe it could be a future april fools event or for a bit of fun. Some fun with planes that only have turrets for offensive armament.

TSR2, B58 Hustler, and the Avro Arrow, naturally. Though they wouldn't fit current gameplay, I would like to see an overhaul to fit the jet strategic bombers too of various nations.

More of the Me262 variants, F5 variants, and the F20A Tigershark

Aside from the obvious topper tier potential (f-15, rafale...) I'd like to see the Sky Warden. Small lightweight prop that outperforms the A-10 in CAS... It'd be hard to balance since it's a little prop with guided weaponry but hey

I personally would love to see a B-52 in War Thunder. Imagine playing a high tier ground battle, nuke gets called in and look off to see the plane to deliver your doom is a big ass B-52 at high alltitude.

The magister would be amazing for Battle Pass as a level 75 or in a crafting event!

Would love to see the following in no particular order: F/A-18A-C because the Bug can shoot everything and that angle of attack is chef’s kiss. Oz, the US, Finland and Canada all use it (War Thunder wise) P-40Q (the P-40 with a Merlin and a bubble canopy that was only built as a trial aircraft) Wild Weasel aircraft from the F-105F to the F-4F with that gray livery from Desert Storm. Besides I think there should be a SAM threat in War Thunder where these aircraft can shine F-20 Tigershark because Experimental aircraft would be fun to play what ifs And finally the IAI Lavi, another experimental plane from Israel. Basically a F-16 in delta wing configuration (not quite to the extent of the F-16XL) that America put a cease and desist on. Some say it inspired the Chinese J-10C

I'd like to see a Nimrod MR1/2 as a british 8.0 jet bomber , it could mount two aim9 , bombs , atgms (SS12s) and other weaponry and it could go at 930km/h

I really love the looks and history of the F-111, but…. I don’t know what the point would be on WT’s teeny tiny maps. Everyone knows exactly what you are heading for as a target and you sneak in when you have to fly directly under the enemy team. I’d also like to see them knock out the remaining Century Series. The F-102 with only AIM-4s and a dozen Mighty Mouse rockets is useless. But the gun armed Voodoo and the F-106 with the six shooter upgrade would both be fun. I doubt there’s enough data on the F-107 to make that work but one can hope. The Russians need to get the Su-15. With four AA-3s (or two AA-3s and four AA-8s) and a pair of Gsh-23 pods you can go 747 hunting! Yes please! What about the Foland Gnat? The Indian Air Force did very well against Pakistani Sabres using them. I’d also like to see the Bf 109T that was designed for use on the German CV Graf Zeppelin.

The gripen should be added not the new ones but we need more top planes for Sweden

Honestly I'd like to see some WW2 Polish aircraft like the PZL P.11 or PZL 23B Karaś and maybe even some medium or heavy bombers bombers like the PZL 30 Żubr, yeah some of the were obsolete by 1939 but we already have the PO-2 so I don't see why not ad one or two Polish aircraft.

I'd like them to add more bombers. They could add the B-32 Dominator, B-36 Peacemaker, and the YB-35 flying wing. And if they decide to add cold war bombers, the B-47 Stratojet, B-52 Stratofortress, and probably the B-1 Lancer is they're feeling devious. And you can tell i'm a US main.

How about the American SC-1 Seahawk for the top tier us boats

A lot of Aircraft are missing in War Thunder since it's release. I always wanted to see the B-52 and TU-95. Those two bombers in Air Assault Mode would be interesting to face in every wave, and also a Russian light bomber the SU-24 Fencer.

F-111 (Australia) should be a US prem/sqaudron vehicle so its consistent with the M1A1 AIM being Australian but part of the US line

I would give the US bomber line some love and add the B-36 at the BR the B-29 is right now, bumping the B-29 down a bit.

Some aircraft's that i want in game a Finnish Folland Gnat and Gripen. But we already know they will come one day. Since Finland and Sweden has a limited number of aircraft's that can be added. But excluding those 2. Here are some jets i would like to see in game. 1. CAC Sabre. More specific CA-27 Sabre Mk 32. 2. Cessna A-37 Dragonfly. 3. AIDC AT-3/XA-3. 4. Fuji T-1. 5. PZL TS-11 Iskra (No idea which tree to put it in. But it looks cool). 6. SIAI-Marchetti S.211. 7. Fiat G.80/G.81/G.82. 8. Aermacchi MB-326. 9. Arado Ar 234 C-4/Ar 234 B-2/N. 10. Heinkel He 280. There are way more then these 10 ish jets that i want to see in the game. Many of the other jets i would love to see in game. Most of them are from the early years of jet aircraft's.

The F-111 and Su 24, boths would be very good to see in the game

I wanna see something goofy like the Berijew wwa-14, the fiesler 167 (Biplane stuka), the german Canberra, the Fl 282 Kolibri and the Su 47.

F-111B as it would be the Navalized interceptor/fighter variant (this would be before the f-14) and the C for the fighter bomber. F-111 Pre production or F-111D with upgraded engines Premium - F-111B Naval interceptor before the Tomcat - F-111C After 105 - and then give one to the Brits via AUS

3:23 the fouga magister in service by Israel was actually built in Israel and some of them where transfered to the 147'th squadron where they were armed incase the airforce was dissabled so that could be a cool addition to the israeli tech tree, maybe before the first skyhawk

I mean, if we're adding the F-16 at this point and the F-14. The F-15A had AIM-7s and AIM-9s which already exist in game. And while we're at it, I'd like to see China get some love too with an early Chengdu J-10A. I've been kicking and screaming for cluster munitions for a long time. It's sad Ukraine gets them before War Thunder does.

Honestly, there are a lot of flying boats that would be wonderful ingame. I want a non-premium USSR flying boat so badly, though I'm biased because I've never been able to afford the Be-6

If they add the f-111 you should be able to do damage with the dump and burn. imagine getting an aircraft or ground kill with it.
