NOTIFICATION SQUAD: The last epic journey of 2021! Thank you to everyone who's watched Abroad in Japan this year, it's certainly been one hell of a year. From finally getting a ramen shop studio and interviewing Ken Watanabe (out early next year), to visiting all 47 of Japan's prefectures and crazy projects like Journey Across Japan and Wacky Weekend, to the 12 Days of Christmas series over on the Chris Abroad second channel. This year will be a tough one to beat, but I look forward to rising to the challenge for 2022 - the 10 year anniversary of Abroad in Japan! See you there guys.

I love Natsuki's confidence with the English language. Learning a foreign language is hard, but as long as we can communicate what we want, don't sweat the vocabulary and just speak! Not everyone has that confidence, so I very much admire Natsuki that he just goes for it ✌️

And then apparently my grandpa was very touched by that and would love if my cousin went to that place. I don’t know how far along you are, so I apologize if this sounds a bit condescending, but some really great resources are: Taekim(a free online textbook), Wanikani(a application to help learn kanji ), and Bunpro(an application to help practice grammar). Best of luck my man, if you have any questions I’d be more than happy to help 👍

I have to admit that your travelogues are one of the best on RU-vid. The editing is great and I especially liked the food segments. Thank you for sharing your trip to Hokkaido. 👍🏻🙏😎
@linalmeemow
@linalmeemow 2 года назад
When you run short of content ideas try Eastern Hokkaido in the summer - the Shari neputa matsuri is great, Abashiri has the prison museum, Kushiro itself is interesting (and has the original zangi...) and you can see real (though non-Godzilla sized) bears on Shiretoko. Definitely gives you a different view of the place going in summer too.

I was looking for a comment about this! I think he's holding a bottle of ground chilis, hence the RHCP reference. Edit: It reminds me of the reference (pointed out by someone in the comments) to Bon Jovi/the talkbox that Natsuki made with a water hose at an onsen (hopefully someone knows what I'm talking about). I think some of his randomness is just his references going over our heads!
