Hey!!! I just wanted to share this quick recipe. I’ve been hearing people talk about “liver chips “. So I decided to make my own and they turned out fabulous. I took chicken liver and blended it in my blender until it was very smooth. I added salt. Then I poured it on a cookie sheet that was lined with parchment paper. I spread it VERY thin. I smoked some of it in our smoker and then I dehydrated some of it in my dehydrator. It honestly taste fabulous and the texture is perfect- so crispy. Even my toughest critics in my house love it. I dip mine in Kerry Gold butter to increase my fat but you could really use any kind of dip- or eat them plain.

Teresa Hagestad questions for you...did you add any liquid while blending? After spreading it out, did you bake it? Never heard of this but would like to try it. Thanks

No liquid for chicken liver, but I did add water to the beef liver to thin it out.

Teresa Hagestad what do you do after you spread it out on a tray do you bake it to dry it out? It seems like it would be kind of runny initially.

I cut out all carnivore junk foods January 1st and promised myself only nutrient dense food from then on. The changes in my body since I did that - are significant!! I eat a lot of cod liver.

@@nadjanewhall9783 Make sure it's cold pressed cod liver oil. I bought cheap stuff with added vitamins, then found out this stuff is next to useless and can even give you vit A poisoning. I now take Rosita cod liver oil.

Hi Judy just discovered your channel. Love it! I eat 2 meals a day. How many ounces of meat should I be eating per meal like a steak or 80/20 ground beef?

I've been stalled for several months. This month of May I am only going to eat ribeye steaks and maybe 3-4 eggs per week. NO pork rinds, no cheeses, no Arbys meat, no salami or jerky. Also, no butter or spices, just salt. I do drink black coffee. After 30 days I will see if any progress is made. I also am not going to eat all the fat on the ribeyes, just half of it. Something has to give.

Space Ghost I’ve not lost weight on zc so I added fasting. Even with fasting I’ve struggled with weight loss. My metabolism is broken. But I’m willing to continue on with ZC and fasting bc I’ve seen others get results, I know I will too and so will you. Some of us have deep healing that needs to take place and deep detoxing. Our body will put weight loss on the back burner for these and other reasons. Hang in there!!

@@NutritionwithJudy I will keep you all posted. I don't plan on staying hungry all month because that wouldn't be a true test. My sleep is an issue to be sure.

@@aminarassoul Thx for asking! I did break stall a little bit. I did no cheese, almost no eggs and no gas station sausages or jerky for about a month. I tried to eat only ribeye and some burger meat. I was stalled at around 233 but I dropped to 224. I cannot for sure say why, one person and one month is not real data but maybe that was the issue. We will see. Maybe I need to go just high protein and virtually no fat.

Thank you Judy, I was keto for a couple years lost 25lbs Stalled. Still need to loose about 10lbs. The issues I’m trying to fix is a small eczema on my right hand and hot flashes because I went off HRT. Basically birth control. I’m 61 very healthy, before covid I worked out regularly now not so much. I’ve been carnivore for 5 weeks and do love it.i probably eat between 1500 to 2000 calories a day and very little dairy. So I’ve gained about 10 lbs which of course I hate. My stomach is made of steel because I can eat almost anything and not be bothered. So any thing to tweak my diet ? Or should I just continue and hopefully will start loosing as my body completely heals? Thank you so much.

What's your thoughts on desiccated liver for when we cant get grass fed liver reliably, also what about chicken liver vs beef due to lower life cycle time and thus less toxins? Where i live i have access to seal liver but its spot on the food chain makes me wonder about toxin load, thanks XD

As soon as I went on the carnivore diet, all of my desire for snacking went away. I no longer crave sweets or carbs, or even just the thought of putting something in my mouth while I'm watching TV in the evening. I will never go back to the SAD diet.

I'm on carnivore mostly to try to eliminate my chronic headaches and migraines and also weight loss. I recently started eating just a bit more meat each day for a few days and gained back 2 pounds, weird. It might be premenstrual weight gain though. No biggie either way as I'm already below what my original goal weight was...very cool!

Sometimes you have to eat even when bored or in your feelings (if it's carnivore), you can't over eat the proper human diet. You will get too full eventually

Susan Riley Just cut it up into tiny pieces and swallow with water. I use Ancestral supplements, but I can definitely notice more benefits from eating it as a whole food.

Question, I take prednisone medication, so i get very hungry all the times, my main meal is coffee with heavy cream, steaks, 2fried eggs with melted cheese; then i snack on Fage 5% yogurt 1 cup or 90% dark chocolate (or both) . . . i noticed my weight loss stalls but i dont know what else to do . . . please help !!! thanks.

Use butter and beef tallow to keep you feeling full. I LOVE hwc and cheese but it definitely causes me wt gain/stall . I got off my Prednisone determined to heal my body without drugs.

I just can't find much help out there on how to gain some weight on this diet , its been 18 months of eating carnivore and i lost 5kg and im really skinny and wish to gain, maybe i should just do exactly what you are saying not to do...?
