As an alt black girl, people have never accepted me. People can be very mean, selfish, superficial and liars. I realized I have become cynical and have given up on socializing altogether. I would like to change that, but it will probably be a working progress
I really appreciate the solutions at the end. I decided to take a risk and move in with a roommate last year, and I’ve learned so much from interacting with her. Initially I was afraid she’d reject me/find me too odd, but she has been very kind and it turns out we have a fair amount in common. So for all the other loners watching, it IS worth taking the risk to open up (with discernment & boundaries) and give people a chance. It helps us grow 🌱
I'm a pisces female and I'm pretty much happier being alone in my room. Been used, ppl hmu when they need money or sex. Coworkers get on my nerves which is why I work at a job where I'm alone. People: just leave me alone.
Very powerful! And well said i may add. :-) There's been times i found people to be extremely draining. Its like they have this vampirical aspect about themselves. And they don't need to speak. Its a succubus energy. This comes from a person that daydreams about all the things in life that are wrong. Living in a state of constant fear and anguish is a choice that some are dam proud of. And quite honestly, some people are quite comfortable with that choice. Because once they step out of it, they want back in. Because the sadness is almost the equivalent of a glass of wine. It releases endorphins. And they feel imbalanced without the drama. This is the result of "victim" mentality. And until they can learn to enjoy themselves first, and change the imagery inside the mind...they will always find themselves rejecting beautiful relationships and amazing opportunities. Ultimately, surrendering their lives over to living the norms of social distancing and bitter disappointment.
Cancer Sun, Taurus Moon, Virgo rising. Most people lack substance, I call them mundanes. They all run on the collective programs controlled by media and various institutions, I've tried having these types in my life but they deplete my life force and the dynamic is vampiric. In saying that, I always manage to attract people that are on my vibe. It's like we spot each other in the crowd and so the relationships I have are always of quality and we connect on a soul level where there's a mutual exchange of energy.

When you say you grow out of it as you get older...how much older are you talking cause I’m 43 and find that I’m wanting to be alone more and more as I age and figure people out.
9:14 "being overly aggressive in their attitudes and opinions" I think I'm this person. I find that when I'm passionate about a topic, I tend to steamroll discussions and I've found that people would get quiet and some would even roll their eyes. I have Aspergers and have trouble with social conventions. I knew the "temperature" in the room had changed, but didn't know why or if I was the cause of it. I've talked to my therapist and she felt that I hadn't done anything wrong, but explained that some people prefer to surround themselves with people who validate the way they see the world. She said that most people don't like it when people challenge issues they care about deeply and that me being an opinionated woman amplifies this. It's nice to hear someone admit that they shut down when someone is aggressive with their opinions. I also really like that you advise others to be open about when someone is doing a behavior that bothers them. Sometimes I feel like people have an issue with me, but don't tell me because they would rather stay upset than to clear the air.

Im the opposite of #3 (I prefer not to have deep, soul-to-soul interactions) having kind superficial, lightly flavored interaction helps keep my energy boundaries and prevents that heavy feeling. A nice light conversation, a genuine exchange of compliments (if I actually like something) and Im out lol I do have a lot of Air in my chart, so it's natural that I'm a social butterfly.

I felt triggered for other pisces when toy said boundaries. I'm very strongly boundaried, probably too much, but I'm fine with it. It's intimidating to others, but I'm glad, so they won't come at me with pretentious BS.
