Thank you for pointing this out. But is there a way to fix the relationship after finding out that it's a trauma bond?

Yikes…. Everyone I know falls into one or several of the cases you mentioned. Including myself and my ex . There was a point when I felt I was dealing with my brother instead of living with my boyfriend…of course my sex drive flew out the window. 🥺

Thanks for doing these insigful talks, Pye and Dr. Glen! I want to ask: Have you explored the role of health on relationships? Especially brain chemistry related health issues. I recently found I have a mold (and potential heavy metal) toxicity issue that messes my brain chemistry and have found that when I’m working on my detox and supplementation my anxiety and depression go down almost like flipping a switch, also the symptoms I have from the anxious attachment I’m still working through seem to become more manageable. I’ve heard Dr. Amen (an ADHD specialist) talk about at least one case of a marriage that greatly improved when treated with supplements for specific brain chemistry issues. I wonder how many people have it too hard to overcome trauma because of a messy brain chemistry and would like to know if there is some more data about this topic out there. Any comments? Thanks for your attention guys :)

"I dont want a relationship thats not on my terms only" is what you menat to say. She picked up on that vibe and felt rejected. Because who wouldnt ? Intimacy while saying "i was to be distant from you" Mind fuck stuff

I was married to a 9 year older man for 20 years. I think this marriage was healing the girl in me, who was left from his father. My hub funktioned like a father to me. Is that also trauma bonded?

Why would you date when you don’t want a relationship right now - just focus on your own healing and date when you are ready 😂

Well why not take things extremely slow during your healing. : )

Thank you! I realised I had been choosing men with similar traits to my dad because it was familiar, but I’ve realised it was a false sense of security. When you brought up your client who realised she was choosing daddy I was like ewww (hahaha) I was doing the same. I am not choosing daddy anymore. I am choosing someone who aligns with my core values and aspirations ❤️❤️❤️ landed hard!

omg, another video where the guy on the left wants to continually talk about his relationship. Never get to hear what the expert says because the interviewer keeps rambling on about himself and his marriage constantly

I don’t like when you talk (extensively) negative about your first marriage. I doubt your first wife was horrible and everything was 100% her fault
