Last week I was definitely living that reactive life rather than proactive. My time with God was non-existent basically. I changed that around on the weekend and I've seen God's blessing, answering prayers and helping me to want to spend more time with him. This video came out at the perfect time!

Wow Tori really hit a struggle that I deal with at times. When I doubt anything about God I feel so ashamed because I know I shouldn’t be doubting. But what she said encouraged me to always share my doubts with the Lord. Because once I do that my faith will grow. I really need to read that book she read because I think that would help. Thank you so much this was definitely something I believe God wanted me to hear. Over the years, I’ve also translated sabbath as peace, so finding your peace in moments, finding your peace not just on a day but finding your peace with him and closeness with him in moments during the week. Just stopping in the day and definitely rested in his peace

I read a book (founded in the faith) that said “the women is a reflection of her husband” the way her husband leads and treats his wife is a good summary of how he seeks Christ because then they all experience God’s overflow of joy/peace etc. Tory is so radiant and just the way they look at each other is so loving & peaceful. I love to see them walk out the Word so beautifully🤍y’all are great!

Love this! Y’all should do a video on the topic of the Sabbath. I feel like this isn’t talked about much and getting your insight and thoughts as you journey through this would be really encouraging to many of us!

I'm happy that the Lord has blessed you with marriage and children at a young age. I have walked closely with the Lord since I was a child and starting believing for a mate at 16, but Im 45 and still waiting. My faith journey has been much tougher.

This was such a good video especially what Tori said at the end. My issue is that I am bad with my discipline. I find it so hard to read the Bible everyday and I constantly feel like God has no interest in me, which I know is a lie but my life is no where close to where I want it to be with God and it makes me so sad

@chadmasters I read the Screwtape Letters and I PROMISE YOU it will change your life with how you see the value of walking with Jesus. It’s basically a higher powering demon TEACHING a low ranking demon how to disrupt a man’s walk with the Lord. And so the higher ranking demon is speaking and confirming and teaching and you see the Lord is such a powerful way, but not in the way you think. I would read that one first. I want to read Mere Christianity , but take your time and pray as well so you can understand it and not be overwhelmed by CSLewis’ writings . I promise it is a book I recommend. I hope you have a great read and felt so encouraged by both yours and Tori’s honesty! Discipline has been on my mind lately especially as a new mom and I’m noticing how much of my time has been compromised with the Lord. I know the Lord lead you guys with this video. Sabbath is a wonderful gift from God❤️🙌🤗 its a day of rest in so many ways - and a celebration of what God has done, is doing and will do. A day when we aknowledge our need of Him, that we cant save ourselves, its only through His works that we are saved. Keeping the sabbath is actually an act of righteousness by faith, its not about our work, and we aknowledge our dependancy on Him through refraining from any sort of work. We are not dependent on ourselves to provide for us, financially or anything, but fully resting in His provision for us.❤️🙌 Unfortunatley many christians today have forgotten about the sabbath day (ironically it is the commandment that says ’remember’… ;) you could almost think God knew we would forget🤪) and are missing out on this wonderful blessing. (Again, Im so glad you want to take hold of the sabbath blessing). I wonder, have you also thought about/heard/know that the sabbath day actually is starting friday sunset to saturday sunset? Most christians think it is the sunday (or that you can chose a day) but this is a tradition from men, and not ordained by God. So to truly keep the sabbath holy we are to do it on the day He put a blessing on and said was holy, set apart☺️ we cant make something holy or chose what day to set apart. I can strongly reccomend these resources❤️ and its good to remember that if God says something, it is always for our good, even if we at first might struggle with accepting His ways and truth sometimes (as did me and my husband on this topic before), but following God is always leading to the best. We always eat something extra special for breakfast, and our son gets a healthy sabbath treat 🤗 and then we go to church, often stay after with some friends, go for a walk and do something spiritual with the kids (some bible treassure hunt, making bible stories together etc or doing something kind for the people in the neighbourhood). Some things we dont do: we dont work, also not with household shores, so friday is the preparation day when we make the whole house clean and make the food for sabbath etc, so sabbath really can be a day of rest from ’have to does’ and we can fully spend time with family, friends and God. We dont go to any groceries or restaurants either, because the sabbath commandment says to let ’those within your gates’ rest, also the servants were to rest, so we want to not be the reason that someone else have to work (even if they are not believers and wouldnt keep the sabbath, we still want to honor God in not being the cause for someone else to break the sabbath, even if they do it in ignorance). Its a big blessing to be able to just ’allow yourself’ to not have any other demands or distractions 😍 we have an awesome God that knows just what we need❤ I will continue to pray for you and specially in this search for more of Gods wonderful truths and ways🙏🥰
