I'm still trying to improve my recording and mixing skills and continue to experiment. This time I reversed the phase of the guitar which I think helped the vocal stand out a little and allowed me to monitor better with headphones on. Everything was recorded and mixed on my Tascam Model 12. I then uploaded the stereo mix into Logic Pro and used IK Multimedia Lurssen Mastering plug-in to give it a little more punch.
Vocal = Shure SM58 Beta to Peavey VMP2 Preamp to Warm Audio WA76 compressor to Tascam. Guitar= AKG C460B condenser mic to Focusrite ISA One preamp to Tascam.
