The hardest thing is realizing that everybody is not like you. They don't understand what you are talking about. I google research on physics, human behavior, space and the oceans. That's how I cope.
I am from a working class background. I feel like this all the time. But I do know people who are the same. I have been told I am the person to go to help solve problems. I love to demolish quizzes. Mastermind, university challenge. I love history, archaeology, space, Shakespeare, my mum tells people that when I was a small I used to watch open university and my mum thought I didn't know how to turn the channel over ( only 3 channels in the 70s) my mum said that I started crying and I turned it back over.
Totally get what you mean. It's like trying to find your way in a big, dark room with just a tiny light. You know there’s a light switch somewhere that can light up everything, but the challenge is finding it. We just keep searching until we do.
