This guys is big on sprinting at any age. Do not sprint until you are strong enough to do so. I started sprinting without prepping for it, boom, torn meniscus.

Yep, especially if over a certain age and trying to get back in shape, even an easy jog can feel like a sprint compared to walking right, maybe a bit of a sprint at end of the short jog, injuries aren’t worth it.

I{ dont intend this as critical. I am curious. His stark white hair and pink face and neck, but his limbs are all brownish-tan. I wonder what causes that.

Can tear your hamstrings too. I have heard him suggest the safest way is to sprint uphill, it's slower and safer. Just never sprint downhill. Your spot on you have to be ready to sprint before you try it.

If you are older You can just walk stairs and steep hills to build up your lung power. I live in a town with hills and churches with high steep stairwells on the outside so Im starting with those. 30 sec up hill, 90 sec recovery. 4 to 6 x

I don’t drink alcohol. I never had a taste for it. I tried to drink it in my early 20s to fit in and always wound up hanging my head in someone’s bathroom toilet lol so I just abandoned it. I’m fortunate and thankful that I don’t have that temptation. For me ….eating out is something I like to stay away from. My birthday was last month in April. I went out to eat three times within 10 days which I never eat out! It was a nice gesture, but all everybody wants to do when it’s your birthday is take you out to eat, and as I mentioned, I don’t really like going out to eat. I tried to navigate the menu as best as I could, and I felt I made fairly good choices, but the dangers are in how they prepare the food and what oils they use. I had what I call a food hangover for a week after these three meals out. I felt bloated. The scale was up almost 2 pounds and my digestive tract was disturbed. I ate meat and high protein, dinners, and avoided the carbs and the french fries and the baked potatoes and the oxidated vegetables, but I’m thinking it was the oils that I probably had a sensitivity to. The carcinogenic seed oils. I can’t be certain but I just stay out of the restaurants because the aftermath isn’t worth it. 🤷‍♀️

Just started watching after I got the email 🙌🏼. Love Dr. O’Mara ♥️. I’m 56 almost 57, started carnivore last week of November. I’m sprinting now 💪🏼. Lost 30 lbs and I’ve never felt so good 🙏🏼. No more aches and pains, no more brain fog, energy through the roof! Never going back!!

If I do have a food craving, which usually happens at night, I have to get in the car and drive to the store…AND…I can’t wait until 11pm when the grocery store closes. I’ve been at this 2 years 5 months…I’m 62, 6’2” and lost 50 lbs, got off 7 medications and have had the best blood test results ever.

Dr Shawn is a hero, I do exactly what he does. Even if I eat eggs soy free eggs they are fed something that makes me ill. If I eat one organic potato my joints hurt and fingers hurt. I just eat grass fed steak.

I'm ate 60 have had a very stressful life starting very young. Even father and uncle were murdered when I was 17 and I was with gild. Problems from birth. I was always thin. I'm over weight now the last 10 years have been very bad. I am with a cover narsisst for 39 years married 3 times before him when I was young. In between 2012 and 2021 my brother died my mom died heart attack and my 700 lb sister died with COVID. I am now 5,5 I lost a inch .only fat in the belly. I was at 202 I started carnivore end of April lost 13 lbs . It's still hard with carnivore being around who I am around. I want to live to over 103 I plan to. I need help. All said with love.

Two of my favorite health influencers. I too feel that talk of cholesterol should be outlawed. I grew up on fermented vegetables and couldn’t recommend them enough like Dr. Sean.. please keep spreading the word💪🏻

I'd suggest eat real food only. Never any fake/processed food (all that stuff made with the 3 bad guys - grains/flours, seed oils, sugars). Ever. And then go from there. Simple. But not necessarily easy. You might note that at around 1:07:45 in Dr. O'mara suggests eliminating consumption of carbs and eating only fat and protein.

I’m 56 soon to be 57 and I had to cut out every bit of processed food. No grains of any kind and no dairy or alcohol since Jan 3 2024 and when I tell you I feel like a different person! Brain fog gone as well as joint/ body aches. Also this pesky CRAVINGS to snack and eat something is just GONE. Oh and my mental clarity and anxiety and low level bouts of depression are GONE. Sugar and ultra processed foods are killing us.

The carnivore diet works the best. Check out Dr. Anthony Chaffee here on RU-vid. I eat mainly meat. I do have a few carbs in the morning, but I keep it under 10.

I have been sprinting in place for a few months, just yesterday I did a proper sprint in my front yard. I have a lot of pain and stiffness on off days (post exerertional melaise?) so I take from 3-11 days off in between. Ive been eating whole foods with meat and dairy for over ten years and been carnivore/keto with intermittent fasting for a year and drinking kefir for a few weeks. But I keep gaining weight/edema. And my body is weak and painful. I spend half my time in bed. Milk Kefir made my fingernails strong.

A housekeeper in a foreign country stole my CPAP machine, Ove been in recovery for 11 months now- mainly because the AirBnb, and other temporary living situations here in the State won’t let me sleep. Or, stress me out where I can sleep until now. The housekeeper could technically be prosecuted for endangering my life, at least on some level.

I have Klinefelter's Syndrome, and I can never seem to get rid of Visceral Fat; as I understand it, Klinefelter people always look pear-shaped. Is it even possible to get muscular with this genetic condition?

i cut my carbs and sugar 5 years ago to under 20 grams a day, i am retired therefore i do not consider myself under stress, i never drink...ever, i eat all natural foods, i also have practiced fasting for years and i sleep about 8-10 hours a night. i still have a large visceral fat stomach, a large amount of it. im doomed.

Start sprinting(optimal, but start slow until the body adapts) or some other maximum intensity for short periods exercises. Or perhaps there is something that is making you react, try an elimination diet and slowly star adding your normal foods to see if there is some food that makes you react negatively.
