Just bought a 2014 Tacoma prerunner lb crew cab for work. Badass truck, still very modern looking and the interior was way ahead of itself back then so holds up very well today
I have a red 2015 Double Cab SR5. Even 8 years later it still looks great. Had only 58,000 miles when I got it which is basically nothing compared to other Tacomas.
I just bought one I liked the video a lot, liked and subscribed, good luck on your RU-vid adventures I’ll be looking forward to seeing what you put up man! Tacoma owner for life this is my second I owned a tundra 5.7l also. Great vehicles
Sorry about the late reply, but I don’t always get notified about comments for some reason. Anyways! Thank you so much! It means a lot, it really does. I’m stoked to keep putting content out for you.
I didn’t know this but when you take the head rests off the rear back seats and place them into slots in the back/under of the bottom cushion (that’s already been folded down) you can lay the backrest completely flat and have tons of space!
I do like the reliability and how these trucks have a little more legroom than a Civic. Plus, these older Tacomas are depreciating in value since we are now on a new generation of them. So the market potential is still out there on these to buy and use them. Less money spent on the same or more vehicle=win-win!
Exactly just purchased a 2015 2 days ago for a VERY reasonable price with under a 100k miles. Not TRD but despite that I only transport mostly instruments and lumber for the skate ramps I like to build. Amazing vehicle
@@jaycreati0ns73 The only thing that a Civic beats a Tacoma on though, in the long term, is maintenance costs. A Civic needs less oil and gas, per sitting, than a Tacoma and there is less displacement in the engine and tranny so you, of course, burn far less fuel per mile per gallon. A Civic is a great point A to B car over roads and roads only. Outside that, a Tacoma has you covered. 😎
That is all covered in another video on my channel. Titled something like “mid travel Tacoma build breakdown” with that truck as the thumbnail. Go give that video a watch and leave a comment with any more questions you might have.
I have no idea why I sometimes don’t get notifications about comments, so ignore the fact that I’m 9 months late on the reply. I love my truck till this day. Never gets old. It’s kind of weird how much fun I have driving it haha.
Hi my friend I have a question?. I measure 1.90m how is the space in the back seats?. I really love this car but I'm thinking a lot about the space in the back seats, Because I have a family with 2 children and my wife
So you are measuring at just under 6'3". I myself am 6'0" and to be honest its not the most comfortable ride in the backseat. It is definitely doable for me just not the most comfortable. Since you are 3" taller it might not be doable for you. My head is very very close to the roof when I'm in the backseat. If you're going to be primarily driving the vehicle it should be fine. theres more room in the front and it feel like it sits lower then the back seats. I think your wife or kids will totally be ok in the back seat if they're under 6'0".
They’re just the stock speakers that come on the TRD Sport. And same goes for the mirrors. I didn’t change them out, the TRD Sport comes with paint matched mirrors that have the turn indicators
I have a build breakdown video on my channel that you should give a look for a bit more detail, but the summary is: about 2.5"-3" with the coilovers, not sure the original tire size but I went up to a 33", and the rear I think has about 2" from the leaf springs.
Beautiful Truck. I am going to look at one tomorrow but I am not sure if it is a five speed automatic or a four-speed automatic, the owner does not know that. I am also not sure if it is a TRD because the owner says he is not sure, he just knows it is a 4 x 4. Do you happen to know? If so thank you so much
I’m 5’11”-6’0” and head room isn’t a problem for me in the front seats. In the back seats it’s a little close for comfort. If I sit up really straight and stretch my neck I’m hitting my head in the back seat.
Thanks man. The lift is about 2.5”. I go into more detail about the build in a video on my channel called “Mid Travel Tacoma...” if you wanna check that out.
Long story short, I have OEM replacement King Shocks. For a more in depth answer check out the build breakdown video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-v-K3S6e9r8s.html (starts at 4:07)
No kidding? Man I wonder what determined which trucks got the outlet then because I've definitely seen a Tacoma newer then 09 without an outlet. Huh, time to hit the forums and do some research!
I have a video titled “Mid Travel Tacoma: Build Breakdown/Review on my page that you should go check out! It will answer all of that in more depth. If you have any further questions after watching that video just comment on it and I’ll be more then happy to answer.
100,000 is where people start to see problems and repairs being needed unless the vehicle was really well kept. I’ve heard of Tacoma’s going above 200,000 if they’re very well kept.
Yeah sounds pretty pricy NGL. But it also comes down to the mods it has on it, the condition, the trim, etc. If you live in the SoCal area, check out VilmontMarket on IG they’re a classifieds page for mostly Toyota stuff and people are always selling Tacomas on there
