I have the SJ413 LWB and can't be more happy with it. I have had quite a few 4wds over the years (even SWB Samurai and JB43 Jimny), but SJ413 LWB is combining the right advantages and for me its the best possible mix for 4wding. Its just slightly heavier than SWB, but much more practical (great for touring and camping), simple as a rock, robust and reliable, highly moddable, does not have the worst mpg either, easy to fix and find parts and actually its the cheapest 4wd to maintain. I will definitely keep it for the rest of my life.
Thanks for the comment! We've never had the LWB here in SA. They do look like the best of both worlds. Big enough to be a practical camping vehicle but small enough to be economical and light-weight. I just love this SJ413 and also plan to keep it forever! The 1 thing I love most is the simplicity.
Fantastiese klein goedjies.
Thanks vir die comment, Lourens. Ek verstaan presies hoe jy voel. Ek smile elke keer as ek inklim en kan nie wag vir die volgende keer wat ek met die dingetjie kan ry nie. Geniet hom!
Thanks for the video! I’m thinking of trading my land rover disco 2 for an old school suzuki, are they easier to get fixed than landrovers? Trying to find a mechanic for my landy is 🤯
Hi Dayle. Thanks for watching. I have not owned a Disco 2, but from my experience with the Suzuki and from stories of friends with Disco 2s, I am 100% sure that the Zook is cheaper and easier to maintain. I do everything myself (not a mechanic!) and I've been able to find parts at the local parts store. Good luck with the decision. Plus, I get 10km/l. I drive it every single day.
