Riot wants us to forget that they could make a good game balancing patch, that could make anyone happy and would be reasonable then no one wouldn't need to be sad. We shouldn't forget time before season 5, when patches were well made and accepted mostly by everyone (patch 5.11 was the beginning of all shiet what we are facing now)

You know what sucks? You make such quality shit that your videos have nearly watched 1 m times if not more, so much that pro guides sponsor you but you still "only" hit 40 k subs... Better than the opposite I suppose but still

You know I actually was going to talk about URF in this originally but honestly the latest URF was just as good as old URF! To me at least. Aside from not being able to pick your champ of course.

@@leagueplays2100 I play Twisted Treeline quite often... I find it enjoyable. You know what gamemode I couldn't care less about? A 1v1 gamemode. It defeats the purpose of a team game, and the reason I like playing MOBAs. It's quite a biased view to say "Nobody plays or likes Twisted Treeline, but *everyone* wants Magma Chamber", as that is an opinion. If Riot all of a sudden got rid of Twisted Treeline, there would be quite a few people asking for it back just as there is quite a few people asking for Magma Chamber.

I would love Dominion back in the game, it was fun and just something different. Meanwhile those "fun modes" that are in the game from time to time aren't really different. The objectives are the same and the map is the same as well. However I don't see why a 1v1 map would be beneficial in any way. People don't really do this anyway and if they do, they are not going to care about the map.

All your personal info that you use to sign up for LoL or LoR with? Known by the Chinese government. Your IP address? Known by the Chinese government. Your personality profile (based on chat records, playstyle, report history)? Known by the Chinese government. When you're home most of the time (based on when you play)? Known by the Chinese government. Because of how the laws work in China regarding big companies (companies over a certain size must give a controlling portion to the government) Tencent, being the sixth largest tech company *in the world,* is like another branch of the Chinese government. Imagine all the "big tech" corruption and conspiracy theories (and facts) about Google, Facebook, Apple, Microsoft, etc. and now combine them with all the corruption and conspiracy theories (and facts) in regards to a communist government... _That_ is why being owned by Tencent is bad.

Thescott16 um ur just wrong there. Tencent allows does stuff like that inside China but not outside, that’s why so many Chinese people dislike tencent. But with riot games outside of China it’s not a problem

mmm no their player focus was always shitty. And they were always money focused. They could never tell the difference between whiney cry babies and people with legitimate concerns. They always released skins and paid content in ways that were a little bit... underhanded. You know those skins you get that are marked legacy? Originally they were intended to be limited addition skins to never be purchasable again. People paid a pretty substantial amount of money for them. Around season 3 they released legacy skins without telling anyone that they would cycled every year from then on. So a lot of people thought they were getting a skin they might not ever get the chance to get again. And the original purchasers were not compensated in any way. Just like no one who paid real money for runes that no longer exist were compensated. In season 1 around the holiday there were MAJOR server issues in NA and EU. It took Rito more than 48 hours to finally shut down ranked. Players were very upset disconnecting and reconnecting over and over and over while their game completely shits itself. You can still find video of this period of time and while I think it's quite funny it's also quite fucked up. Players were not compensated for their loss of LP. Players asked to be compensated for their troubles. There was a very strong petition for free skins for players who had to suffer until Rito finally got the bright idea to just bring the servers down. There was barely even any communication about the issue or what was going on, much less compensation. All told the servers in NA were down for more than a week. EU servers were brought up but resumed being a broken mess. For a while there it was pretty obvious Rito kinda just gave up trying to make stable EU servers. No my friend Riot has always been misleading and money focused. They were more connected to the player base but I honestly think they pulled back because every time they open their mouth they go back on their word. If anything Tencent's PR wisely advised them to just stop saying anything.

What would you do, if a gamemode causes a lot of people to quit your game? I don't think anyone would have done something different if they actually were in the shoes of someone leading a company.

People say 1v1 but that's just empty talk and a waste of time. Also custom game if you want to 1v1. URF got pretty stale once you see galio and alistar for the 50th time. The Board game was awesome + it was made as a pet project and the first wave sold out within hours

Its been like that since they launched the new client ranking ladder. you can click challengers top 5v5,3v3,5v5 ranked flex. And spectate Each high elo player. But only the ones playing. this means you can spectate a challenger playing a normal game. Which is the downsides of spectating high elo players.

the problem is that nobody knows it, and its not explained anywhere which means, according with the basic rules of interface design, it's a non existent functionality. And with the old system you could always see the teamcomp on each side before spectate, so if you were interested in one concrete champ laning another, you got easier to get eventually a match of your interest. The actual way just allows you to focus on a player and hope to see the champ you want. the old system was pretty usefull, i improved my gameplay with ashe a lot thx to it

@@Funglutton Okay so I just checked out this feature and 1. you have actually search for the name of someone in challenger/GM. Which means if you don't know the name of anyone actively in challenger/GM (doesn't help many change their names every so often and fall out because they're trolling for stream) then you have to hunt for that online. 2. After you pull up the ranked list you have to click on the name to see if they're playing to get that spectate option. Maybe isn't so bad during prime time but I literally just clicked on almost every single name in solo and couldn't find anyone playing. Regardless... what's the point if there's not a play indicator? Who's going to do that kind of work to see if ANYONE is playing. 3. like the fellow said you can't actually see who they're playing or how late into the game they are. Meaning you could load it up after doing all that clicking and research only to find there's 10 seconds left in the game or it's with champions/set ups you really don't care about. 4. Featured spectate was an interesting alternative to Twitch streaming and RU-vid. This is not. This is absolutely not. 5. Yes some features are easy to locate and use but it's really silly to be a dick when there was such a feature that was purposely made to no longer be easy to locate or use and people are mentioning that it's kinda ridiculous... because it is kinda ridiculous. It's pretty obvious that Riot didn't care about this feature at all. But some of us did.

I stand by my comment that 'basic interface design' principles actually promote hiding the less used features in favour of promoting the most valuable features. League of Legends is tricky to design for because it has very different types of players within the userbase who want very different things.

I agree with you, i used to love dominion and still do but they changed it into Aram which pissed me off bc dominion was alot cooler than Aram and it was the first map i played when i started playing the game. It taught me alot of stuff in the game,so i have memories about it

Agree. It's a waste of resources. Nobody is gonna actively play it. If people want to 1v1, it's faster to just custom Aram/Sr map. Everybody already knows the 1v1 rules anyways.

Simple idea, 3 bans, 10 players, brackets, play back to back games gain/lose lp. 100% people would ditch solo queue focus only on this mode and riot just don't want to bother since it's more pain than gain. Same reason we have the same dota map since 2000. The only creativity they have is how to make a new dash champion.
