Well for my case I don’t know what particular thing I did or said, but my boyfriend just started calling me and FaceTime me a lot, almost every days. I was a bit confused at first because even with my friends we only call each other to say “where are you I don’t see you?” He even calls when he’s at work sometimes. He says that it’s just because he felt like hearing my voice. He just makes me feel so loved and appreciated 😊

1. Be direct - ask him to call and give him a time 2. Generate curiosity - ex. OMG something amazing happened to me call me after 7 too long to text. - I need a sexy mans opinion call me after 7 - could really need your advice for something can you chat for 5 mins? 3. Be playful - if the text is boring, the convo is boring. Spice it up by playing a game. 4. Leave him wanting more - vary up the length of time that you talk on the phone 5, 10, 25 mins etc tell them you want to pick up convo later 5. Tone change- to sweet, feminine, warm. Increase in sweetness and warmth causes them to feel that they created/influenced that and validates him. We want to be around people who indicate that they’re making you happy

Loved the tone change strategy! It happens naturally, but I didn't realize it until you pointed it out. My guy is far from me ... I'm a "yankee," and he's a "southern guy." We're always playing around with different accents and tones when we first answer. It never fails to give us a giggle. Interestingly, texting isn't his thing. He enjoys phone conversations. After 5 months, we have 1 to 3 conversations per day. He's my sexy man, and he knows it! Oh, and the conversations range from 5 minutes to over an hour. BTW, I'm 12 years older than him. That bothered me at first, but he's fine with it. We get each other. Lucky I am!!! Lucky we are!!!

Yesterday I brought this up in a low key way. We were talking in person and I said I know we prefer to talk in person (already established) and I know you said I could call any time. What I added is I would prefer you call also. I want to feel like it’s a two way street. Then I learned something…he said when I text you it’s either because I can’t talk right then or I’m thinking about you and it’s to see if you can talk. *That was enlightening* since the text is of a positive vibe and not hey let’s talk.

I think u r being catfished. I've been talking to one guy for a month and he only keeps me in texting mode. I get bored doing it. I asked repeatedly for phone calls and video calls and he avoids these topics with me. So I'm planning a trip to go see him. So far he is for it. I will see what happens when the time gets closer to the trip, what he will say. Reverse search his image on internet browser not Google. U might be surprised what u will find... good luck! I am actually writing a book on this, look for it in the future, it will have lots of great tips on how to avoid such situations...

Rikki Holder One day he told me he was too busy to spend time with me, that I was too demanding (only could see him 2 hours, one date, per week) so I walked away as he suggested. Well, he came back 4 months after. He told me didn’t take me seriously, but then realized couldn’t forget me or find anyone like me. I tried to give him a chance, I was happy and busy enjoying my things and life. I behaved same way he did the first time; he went crazy and behind me all day, everyday. Unfortunately, after the way he treated me, I couldn’t feel any connection. I told him I wasn’t feeling it, that he lost his chance. Ii was so funny that when he came back, now he wanted to exercise together, more dates, more time together..... I’m the type of person I barely give second chances to people that hurt me, and that’s what happened with him.

Did it work? I feel like some people talk on the phone and some just don't. Like for me, 1 hr is the max. I prefer 5- 10 minutes. I would be miserable on the phone for hours no matter how much I love the guy. That's just me though.

A guy called me the other day and he was the one who told me that he prefers voice calls because he feels more of a connection that way. I don´t hear from him as often as I would like and I think part of the problem may be that we usually wait until the conversation dies of natural causes. I use different texts to make him wonder if he's gonna hear from me at all that day, and he always ends up calling me, almost immediately, instead of texting me back lol.. i.e.: "I'm not sure when/if you'll hear from me again today, I'm super busy, but I'm gonna miss hearing your sexy voice daddy😜" Then he'd call and end up not even wanting to get off the phone with me lol. Works for mine.

to make a man call me: 1. Ask them to do so and give them a timelineThis way you can know if he is really interested or just wasting your time. A. If he likes you he will remember and he will call. B. If he doesn't like you he will never callAt least you are not wondering if he likes you or not. These are the simple ways to know where you stand when it comes to men. Having said that. If in case he really just forgot because of valid reason... he will make it up to you but make sure you keep your standards known and never make him think that its ok to forget you every time something else comes up. If you want a real relationship and he does too. Forgetting each other over other things in life will cost you to separate someday. So early on both should be on the same page that forgetting you is not an option if he wants to be with you. Hope this helps.

How about when your getting phone calls from different random numbers and every time you do pick up and say HELLO! You get click?! End of phone call! Also when you're not sure what number to call as there are so many where you get hang ups or the silent treatment before the hang up! So what number is the real number?! Matt, you are so correct on the subject of how you answer the phone. This morning my love called me and I was a bit annoyed with our son so I didn't answer in a positive way. Later on when I seen him he was quiet and I asked what's wrong baby and he said, the way you answered the phone and I looked at him and said I know baby im sorry I was annoyed with our son but im working on that and he ended up feeling better and saying it's okay love. He appreciated my apology and the fact that I realized I was wrong for taking it out on him. I always answer the phone saying, hey baby, how are you? And he responds in a positive way so I need to remember to keep doing it with happy, positive energy. We are closer and becoming not only more in love again but best friends thanks to me taking your advice and changing my whole overall attitude with my relationship. He is a great guy, very respectful but he doesn't see the "not calling each other" part a communication gap in our relationship. I have been missing his voice so much but unfortunately due to our packed schedule it’s really hard for us to have a long call like back in those days when he has more free time, things get even harder when we both are in a long distance and huge time zone differences. I think #4 happened to me. He called a lot and now it's like once a week or even less. But when we chat, we chat for a long time and then I think that's why he doesn't want to call because it lasts so long. I just gotta maybe call him now and not have the conversation last so long this time. I love talking to him, but I think that's what happened. And vice versa. It's like I don't wanna talk to him for an hour sometimes and I think he feels the same way. Never thought of that might be why the calls have stopped a little.

@PMD90 If a guy is with you for a year or beyond, he has intentions and your duty is to find our what those intentions are. When you bring up the conversation about marriage what is his reaction? Does he avoid it? If he does then you you have to get really serious with him. What kind of relationship is this? I'm i your future bride, fiance or what? If he's committed to you he'll have an intention to put a ring on it. If you don't let a man know what you desire and what your expectations are then he'll just continue the way he is. If he doesn't want to tell you his intent then let him know you will breeze out on the other side until he figures it out-Dude when you are ready give me a call-I may still be available maybe I won't be. The worst thing you don't want to happen to you is to be in the relationship for years then one day he moves on because he had you wasting your time while he was still searching around. It's not a matter of rush-when a timeline is put on it a man will start to put things in place to meet that timeline, if not then things continue as usual.

My husband is "melancholy" as our counselor tells me. I'm the opposite. He doesn't initiate conversation or anything else. He is very logical and NO spontaneity. Why dont you talk? I'm driving. Why don't you talk? I'm eating. So bored. I've been divorced once before and do not want to be on my own in my 40s. No children either. I'm afraid this will be the rest of my life. So, emotionally disconnect from him. I'm sure you've by this point had "the talks" with him and it's clearly not changed in your favor, nor for the benefit of a healthy marriage for you two. Make yourself less available for him and more available for yourself and your friends, old and new.

Yes,i made him call me by being playful and curious,I txted him like be named with me..something like that. Then,he called me..😊ha ha I think we just missed each other because we've been freinds for DecadesAnd we just reconnected.

Ayu Dwi sorry, he’s probably not interested. He should have been the one asking you for your number. If you ask twice and he didn’t give it, He probably don’t want you to have it especially if he has someone else in his life but he’s still looking around. The next time he text. Wait two or three days and see if he sends another text to find out if you are ok. If he doesn’t then...
