Ok, well she is right 50.8% of the people in Hounslow weren’t born in Britain, but 54% identify as British. It’s up to you and have a think about which group that lady classes you in, because you might consider yourself integrated and British, but if you aren’t born here, most Reform voters will think of you in this way, no matter how much they bleat on about ‘integration’. Do you walk around with a passport around your neck so they can identify which group you fit into? See the comment above mine for an example.

I have lived half my life in Italy, coming here from London. I am fully integrated and yet, even with dual citizenship, would never call myself Italian. I simply am not since I was born and brought up by British folk in England. Italians would laugh at me for sure if I claimed to be Italian. I would never dream of making such an insane and disrespectful claim. Aspects of my way of behaving are Italian and I can “feel” and “identify” with (not as) Italian things. So I suspect it goes with those not born but living in other countries, such as those in the UK.

I know I was born and have lived all my life up the road in Feltham. Hounslow has turned into a cesspit and Feltham is unrecognisable to the town that I grew up in. All the pubs knocked down, flats everywhere filled with ethnic minorities. Just walking around or going about your business shopping e.t.c all you hear is foreign accents. It is honestly makes you feel like a foreigner in your own country. I despise what has become of the UK, I hate it front the pit of my stomach to the inner depths of my heart. My husband is black from the Caribbean my friends husband is black from Nigeria but we are both going to vote Reform. Voting Reform does not make you a rasist. And I want to add we are both pensioners. This country needs to change it's attitude in so many areas of life. Pensioners are not your enemy when it comes to change.
