Only Exhaust and cooling, never open OM605 and OM606 Block, the higher the mileage the better it will perform. At least 400k km or it will blow.

@@Diesel8290 pretty sure they dont. these are like the m104 gasoline version. 500-600 hp stock internals is usally no problem.

@@LoffeSvensson they can hack it in short bursts on a dyno etc but it’s good to upgrade them because there getting hard to get, the cam gear is only pressed on and falls off, the woodruff key on the crank pulley is tiny and breaks off, the valve springs are really weak. The bottom end is usually really out of balance from factory aswell, plus they respond really well to a ported and polished head

@@Diesel8290 oh okay, thought they where similar to the m104. Thanks for the heads up. Im thinking of building a daily with the 606 at some point. My m104 will probably not be too cheap to drive once im done😅

@@explorinlearnindoing5462 big single turbo, on a 3liter dohc diesel, it can take alot of beating, these things can be ran reliably 300-400 on stock bottom end if im right, i dont know alot about this engine! but its an very cool engine my neighbour has one, it runs around 30-40 psi and roals alot of coal, these engines came stock with 180hp and 330tq
