I've had mine for a few days and it's always comforting knowing I have a few in my wallet. It's s bit bulky but it works. Obviously not as practical as a dedicated set but it's more pocketable than a case of bulkier lock picks and will get less looks and stares if someone sees it.

I never thought I would own one of these. I have a few of the Sparrows sets and a few of the Wendt sets, and today for fathers day, I got one of these from my wife.

Yes. And they are cleverly disguised as a credit card. Just make sure you are paying attention when you are paying for something.

I have a set of these and they’re pretty good IMHO. Finish is a bit sharp, but they certainly work.

I was thinking that! They would not be bad picks if they had longer handles. These could make a pretty decent introductory set if someone did that except they may want better tensioning options. I have kept these in my wallet and never used them before this but I am glad to see they do open locks and could be used in a pinch :)

I was thinking that you could sandwich the pick handles between toung depressors. They're made from poplar.

@@HelpfulLockPicker I just received this James Bond Lock pick the other day. It has a shitty tension wrench and handles were too short. But it sure works. It is not tool of choice but it is small enough to keep it in my car. I am kinda scared to carry my better set of tool picks because cops might stop me and used to get me into trouble. And worst, I might get a knee on the neck and end up dying. Cops are the legal bad guys now. America is a dangerous world for an Asian like me,

I put mine into one of those RFID-blocking credit card sleeves. They fit all in nicely next to each other. Its super thin like that, and they came in useful once or twice already. Did you sand yours down a lot? Any hints on how to do that properly?

I did not sand them down. If you do you must need to use a fine grit sandpaper

I agree with LOKPIC999 below. You call them a novelty item. But as you skillfully have shown they opened all the locks you provided in seconds. I acquired 2 sets off wish for free. Just paid $14 NZD for postage and they are what they are... A great little set of picks for nothing !!!!! ... Beat that people ...

Also this may seem a stupid question , but when do you know when to use a top of the keyway wrench as opposed to bottom ? only been into this 2 weeks and usualy go bottom but would love to learn when to make that choice.

I opened a shit ton of locks with that rake, but eventually it broke inside a keyway I wasn't supposed to be picking. Luckily, I got it out, but that was a close one

I'd like a run down on different pick profiles and what there intended use is. I recently moved up from my homemade Bobby pin and shirt clip from a pen to my first real lock picks and besides the 2 hooks, snake, city, and bogata, I have no idea what the other ten picks in my kit are for.

Very cool. When using the tension wrench for TOK, does it clear the first pin? It looks a bit long. Also, how well does it lock in place without any serrations? Thanks!

xderiwx you just need to be careful that it does not sit on the first pin. It can be a little bit loose tension wrenches aren't perfect

Hi, dear friend, can you tell me how to professionally call the tool for re-folding the insert which is under the handle in the mortise lock? I have a few tucked up inserts and I do not advise you with tweezers, I know that tweezers with tweezers are inserted using only tweezers with springs - one from the side of the carrier, one is inserted in metal for blocking each bottom pin, then put in the drum and attach it with omega or o-ring (forgive my very bad english)

I have a few Yale Locks, I can give it a try down the road. With Yale locks, bottom of the keyway often works betters.

Not as good as what you use now but stil Better then mine, but i am doing my videos on a low budget, i have also had to use my jb kit one time, i had locked my key to my tool shed in the tool shed, luckyly it was before i got ruko's on so it was a crappy lock.
