I'm wanting to change my 56 truck to dis brakes like you did on the 57. My hold up now after watching your video is spacers. I have the original wheel and want to keep them. How do you feel about using them, Where did you find spacers at?
Had a lot of problems with this kit Wish the hub & rotors came Pre-assembled studs are to short If you need to add 3/16 spacer Got it to work, but you shouldn't Have to modify or buy new parts
Thanks for the information, I agree with having to modify, they don't tell you about the problems you will have. I don't mind having to use spacers, if they are not too thick. I believe on your video you said 3/4 spacers is it 3/16 or 3/4. What is the thinnest spacers I can get by with.
@rickwest2366 had to put Rally wheels on used a 3/ 16 Spacer, to clear calipers , lugs Nut were flush haven't a problem Have to install new pads & rotors Been putting it off, for awhile Had a little vibration since new If had to hit brakes hard Got a munchi 4 speed Thar helps Still a old trk you have to drive it
