Hawkmount is about 75 miles (120km) North of Sydney (Australia) and was a popular camping/photo location for enthusiasts in the final years of steam, with miles of curving 1 in 44 grades and an abundance of rail traffic. This early morning scene was filmed by the late Bernie Kent.
