If you want I'm from Michigan and work with the 6.0s quite a bit. I have a scanner as well and could take a look at your truck. Could be multiple different things that you need a scanner to diag. Let me know
i'd try another tune, and if that doesn't fix it , check injector contribution. I know with stock tuning at least ford has programming that will dumb down all injectors if you have one weak one. I don't pretend to know much about aftermarket tuning, and for all i know this logic may have(if possible) been disabled, in which case you don't have to worry. All i can say is while i was running stock tuning 1 injector being "weak" cost me a lot of power.
Interested to know what you find out. keep us updated. Too bad you couldn't throw on a different tune to compare while still at the dyno. So do you think it's the tune, or the truck?
Listening to the truck in other videos and especially the turbo spool I know the truck was getting no air flowing through it. Listen to his turbo, always spending time operating at very high speed range and reaching that point very early in the RPM range. Look at the boost numbers with the tunes he had and you can see the truck exhaust was choked badly and the air the engine was taking in was being overheated from high compression in the turbo. He obviously had a straight pipe on it, and mentioned previous EBP sensor code in this video. His turbo unison ring was either stuck or clocked wrong. Simple mistake for a shop to make and it's enough to kill performance under a heavy load or high speed but seem like a nonissue when you get on the power at a stoplight. This was a 450HP to the wheels truck and this guy was convinced it was busted.
It was gone wrong...he basically had the power and torque of a stock 6.0...maybe worse. I'd check the turbo, and everything with the air entering the engine; engine sounds very healthy.
Well I mean that sounds about right, dont know exactly what you have done but just by this video, i doubt it has anything more than 3.73 in the rear and with those big tires, your doing alittle better than what it should stock on a chassis dyno. I have a dually with 4.30 in the rear with stock size tires and mostly stock engine no tune, and man you would not believe the difference in power pulling a trailer. My buddies have a few single wheel trucks like yours with tunes and everything, but i can always pull atleast 15mph on the passes over there trucks, if they didn't have to stop or let off because of egts or overheating before the top. But i suppose if your going for fast when its empty the taller gears are alot better.
probabaly got a boost leak from your egr delete, the bellow in the rear manifold can break if you run that straight pipe delete that comes with the j pipe
MotoXhero61 hey jackass, SPD with CAI, Egr delete, and straight pipe has seen well into the mid 400s numerous time, look it up. I want to say 465 was the highest
