I feel bad for the flareless planes that run into this thing:') however, planes/players I'd gladly face in this thing are F-5C players. Do I have to explain? They full commit every single head on they can take and well, I have r60Ms, so just park that thing on their forehead at 0.8km
@@mateuszsa7it will absolutely shit on the F-8 (F-5 is faster and is also more agile in short term, and about equal long term, though the f-8 has better acceleration at low speed) and as for the mig-21, it will absolutely shred a mig in a dogfight unless the F-5 pilot is a dumbass, + BS damage model. The three are about equal performance, HOWEVER the F-5 has that advantage of surviving a fucking nuke if it hit it.
@@v3es473they also have that near 1:1 TWR at about 0.95 mach so they also out accelerate stuff around that speed range so they basically stick on your six at high speed while you try dodging their rounds
When I play 10.7 these days, I get a lot of matches that have three-to-four 11.3 planes; it's not the sweet Goldilocks range that it once was. At least with my experience.
@@jayklink851 isn't just you my guy. I have consistently faced F14s, Mirage 2000s, the whole lot while I'm there sitting in my F-5E lol. I had to go 1 v 6 yesterday in the thing and I survived about a minute until matra magic 2 came knocking on my door

i think the E is okay at 11.0 because it has an amazing airframe, but the D is a mig-21 mf at 11.0 with rear aspect, only, compared to all the mig 21 bis’s at 11.0 with literally 6 all aspect missiles, it’s crazy
i was on the stream when that kfir went tom cruise mode, you were gonna clutch that game if it wasn't for that detail since after you looked on the replay you could see that the Mig-23ML was out of gun ammo, sadge lol

I just gotta say. Rest in peace to all the Mitsubishi F-1s and T-2s that have to go against R-60s. But since this plane clearly shows that Gaijin is willing to put the R-60 at that low of a br, then when does the F-4EJ Kai get its AAM-3s?
they once added it before, and just remove it somewhere between it, and they added it again right now lmaoooo. I also remember when swinging R-60M in the 10.7 before they remove it.
@@fulturk4306 thanks to this, 10.0-10.3 are mostly get uptiered to 10.7, there's so much people using this plane, which also mean so much people just died because forcing a strike aircraft fighting a fighter jet lol.

I think this is not the plane for me. First it's 11.3 now and if you want to bomb bases the tornado will be much faster than you if you have 18 100 kg bombs and 6 r60mk's. Either the team is winning but you get only 1 or 0 kills or the team is losing and 5 planes launch missles at you. I dont have enough solver lions to repair the plane. Well well well i will have to play 9.7 grb to get silver lions.
Yeah but those are not R-60m (all aspect) and sadly the yak-38 is.... Kinda lacking in every flight performance department so you getting a rear aspect is kinda hard
Hopefully they don't change it, it's a huge target. A single flare throws off any R-60m. You can only get kills on clueless people sticking head on without flaring, wich is their fault for not preflaring in a head on in 10.7 matchmaking, or people that didn't saw you. Anyone remotely decent in any plane can get kills against F-5s that stall themselves out or straight flying A-10s at 10.3 due to the ammount of brainless wallet warriors who have no idea how anything in the game works, it's not a problem related to the Su-22UM3K, it's because the 70$ players are bad.
@@waki0069 Are you forgeting about all other planes that have 30g missiles at this br ? Or even lower, like the A-10s and Su-25s for exemple ? If you don't have flares, and still want to stick a head vs a potentially all aspect carrying plane, you lack game knowledge. Just don't stick head ons, or take rocket pods if you can, it acts as flares really well in head on. or stay like 2.5 km away from potential R-60m carrier, and 4 km away from 9L carriers. Comming from a big Ariete player.
They are actually easy to kill. You go head on, flare and kill them when they try to pass you. A10 and SU25 were annoying, and now 9.7 is even more fun.

@@mushlook7251 I play harrier fr1 and just shoot missle at their when head on. In my case it works, but i agree it sucks. When i see two A10 4km from me in different directions i basically know i`m fu*ked.
I actually would say the laser-guided munitions are pretty good at this BR. You don't HAVE to go into the camera view to guide the missile - if you just turn on the laser designator and then de-select the targeting point lock ("Deactivate Target Point" keybind) after firing the missile, the laser actually follows your cursor as you're flying the plane in mouse-aim mode, so you can use them as a mouse-guided munition pretty similar to the Fireflash missiles on the Swift F7. They're MUCH more accurate that way. I regularly do this with the SU25BM using two KH29L's and four KH25ML's and it's dead easy to pick up two to three kills this way despite its atrocious targeting camera.
Its not even that high, aim9L at 10.0 is. And these are crappy R-60, that could be flared by literally anything with heat signature (even tiny mighty mouse can flare them ffs).
To say that the aim 9L have any kind of flare resistance is just lying at this point. I play the tech tree A10, I hope I got 1 r-60m for every two aim9L I have. It's just absurdly useless against flares. Actually, today my missile directly ignored the plane I was targeting and tracked a flare 10 KM AWAY.
