You should try experiencing a Cat. 1 hurricane or strong tropical storm. I live in a suburb of New Orleans and have gone through quite a few in my day (I lived in area that didn't flood very much so it was relatively safe to stay, depending on where they hit, as long as it wasn't a Cat. 2 or over, and if you prepared well enough). For one particular tropical storm we were waiting out, one of our cats was on the foyer, meowing to go outside and pee during the middle of the storm. We opened the door to show him and it was raining so hard and the wind was blowing so badly, he literally pissed himself right then and there as he stared at the deluge going on outside.

You get hail in warm weather (and not in the winter). I live in Minnesota. Guess when it hails? In the summer, when it's hot and you get the right kind of thunderstorm roll in. Why is this is a surprise? I don't understand that segment.

There's a part of Russia called the Kamchatka Peninsula, where they have Mosquito tornadoes. They look like the second episode of One Punch Man. That's the most terrifying thing I have seen in nature.

I've driven past that Louisiana sinkhole. It was frightening. And only feet from the road.

And that is why I live in Hawaii. Exept for the tsunami warnings every so often. Eventually there's going to be one larger than a slightly large wave and we're probably going to dismiss it as another false alarm.
