This comment is probably gonna get taken down, deleted or whatever, I dont care but just a piece of advice.. Take this video clip down if u wanna find another partner. Women tend to use this kinda sh*t to weaponize against you. Don't listen to those saying being vulnerable is okay as man, in fact, it's frowned upon. My suggestion is to go hit the gym and focus only on yourself. Get your $$$ up and I can guarantee you, these 304s gonna come flockin, its in their nature.

I love just how raw everything is and showed how your road to acceptance isn't linear. Some days you were alright, but some days after you go back to crying and wishing to text your ex. I just love what a realistic and genuine portrayal of your grieving process of a break up is like, and it'll definitely make others feel less alone.

Me too. Had my first and only relationship in 2020. We stayed as friends. I still think about him sometimes, more in a "that is an experience I had" way, but I still have my regrets that it didn't work out. Sometimes I cry. But it's nice that with time I learned that he is not as flawless as I saw him when I was in love. And he does some things that would stress me out a lot if I tried to tolerate it to keep the relationship. Sometimes I'm even glad our relationship didn't last for long. The breakup hurt like hell though. But I'm healing

Dang, so I’m not the only one who’s been crying for the last 6 months straight? I was celibate for 4 years since my last partner and I broke up, but I tried again this year and completely lost myself again, but it all did launch me into my next era of growth. I learned more about how I love, my flaws, my willingness to accept the bare minimum. Going celibate again for a while to get myself together, it wasn’t all sad. There were good times and moments in all of that, but I’m not ready to let myself go through that again.

How raw, real, & beautiful. It was almost 20 years ago when I went through the hardest break up of my life, and instead of documenting it like this, I did by writing songs. Life went on and I ended up meeting the love of my life.. and those songs became some of the material that we play in a band we formed together. All of this is to say: you may be surprised where your heartbreak leads you, as it oftentimes is better than you could ever imagine ❤

Thank you for posting this. My boyfriend and I broke up a little over two years ago. It was only about a year ago that I finally “moved on” (i.e. was not still feeling angry, hurt, and like I should have done everything differently). I still think of him sometimes. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t click on this video because you look a little like him. I really don’t know what he went through after we broke up; we didn’t communicate (I am not counting the time I desperately met up with him in the hopes he would take me back🤦‍♀️). I don’t have Instagram, so he couldn’t see what I was up to. My friends would show me his Instagram, and it looked like he was having such a great time without me. That hurt. I’m sure it wasn’t all real, but still. So when I saw your thumbnail, I thought, “wouldn’t it be nice to know how he felt after we broke up?” Obviously you're not my ex, but I really didn’t have any male perspectives on how my ex may have been feeling after our breakup. I just want to say, it’s nice to know that there are guys out there who put their heart and soul into their relationships. It wouldn’t hurt so much if the relationship wasn’t meaningful. So… yeah. Thank you. Sending good vibes to you and your family :)

This video came at the right time for me. Relatable in every way, constant crying, crawling in the right direction, self-control, relapse into grief, and the most painful part, taking a step forward, only to move 3 steps backward. I hated every second of screaming into my pillow and feeling every single emotion sharply, but the hurt turned into comfort, and then acceptance. I'm currently 11 months out of the breakup, and it still feels like I'm journaling the process of trusting myself. To anyone reading who's going through the loss of someone you love, progress isn't linear, and it definitely doesn't have a timeframe, grow as you can as you loved as much as you could. You will be okay.

I genuinely love this bro. When me and my girlfriend broke up it felt like hell man this whole video serves as an example of how much pain someone can go through and I really connected with many parts of the video itself especially the socializing part on day 2. After we broke up it felt like something was missing, we would hangout almost every single day and she was my first everything. She was the first person who I got very intimate with in many ways not just sexually but we understood each other on another level and even till this day I think about that connection we had. I am so proud of your progress because even after 10-12 months I still had thoughts about her just like you did during month 1 so seeing that you have been able to overcome that is amazing and I really do hope you continue to prosper. Seeing your progress is amazing as overtime you learn to accept what is and what I've learned is you just have to be grateful even through all the bad, just be happy about the good and take it as a learning experience onto the next chapter in your life. And if anyone of you is reading this just know it does get better, stay positive and let time heal you mentally, physically and spiritually as well as do what is best for you when it comes to taking care of yourself because you are not alone and YOU MATTER!! Thank you so much for making this video, it really helped me sit down and think about things and realize I am not alone in the way I feel. Much love man-❤

What I have learnt is that it is an experience, something that happens in life just like everything. It hurts like shit but it is just an event after all… the point being , that it is a mindset , an ideology that once one adapts helps a lot .

beautiful video so honest and open and raw. the part at the end where speak about growth and how you are feeling about life and the future but also how the relationship shaped what that might be is so mature and insightful.

This new era of youtube is incredible. Thank you for putting so much time and effort to document your process and journey. We live in a such incredible time where this artform is so accessible, and its amazing to see people do such extraordinary things with it. I know it's as simple as turning on your phone camera and saying some stuff, but this wasn't always this accessible. Thank you friend for sharing this part of your life with the world. It's truly unique to see someone go through this ❤ day-by-day and i'm grateful for you, your honesty, vulnerability and the want to document this difficult experience. Thank you for being you Steven

Going through a break up rn, 19 days in and I'm feeling less than optimal. She was the love of my life, the one I wanted to spend the rest of eternity with, the one I wanted to have my kids with, she felt the same and everything was going great, we were only together for 2 months but it felt longer than that. We got virtually married, she said I helped her get rid of her depression that she's had for 5 years, we fantacized about our future, we loved each other in our highs and lows, through sickness and in health, cared for each other so much, and she even visits my house everytime there's something special like our monthsary and I would give her gifts like a hand-made flower sprayed with my cologne, a paper with the outline of my hand so she has something to hold when she gets lonely, I remember her oncall just sniffing the heck out of those flowers and liking the smell even though she normally hates strong perfumes haha. But 19 days ago, her parents found out about us, and didn't approve of me at all and forced her to break up with me. We still love each other and want to be tgt but her parents really don't want anything to do with me, they have forced her to cut all conact with me or made her delete her social media accounts, and I'm just feeling really lost right now, we were able to get in contact again for a short period of time just yesterday until this night that I am writing this cause she deleted it again, but she said she really tried her best to fight for our love, she even held onto the flower and kept on fixing it while she was getting beaten up, and even tried to hide the rest of my gifts but she was just shocked to see them all thrown away. She's in another country right now for vacation and she says she's gotten closer to her mother now and I'm happy for her but she also says that her parents spoil her and the only thing they ask of her is to not be with me, and I guess she would rather listen to her mom than me now and that kind of stings, but yeah. I still wanna be with her and I just hope that we can get through this and be with each other again. I miss her so much. P.S. Sorry for dumping my shit in a RU-vid comment section but something about knowing I'm not the only one going through this kind of pain is strangely comforting, that we all can get through it and recover one day.

You were way more honest with yourself then I was with me after the breakup. It took alot of thinking, reflecting and also getting out there and meeting new people but I'm at the same point as you. Dude I know how terrible you felt. 5 months ago my exgirlfriend broke up with me and I don't think I've ever been in such emotional agony, and for so long. I loved her very deeply and I couldn't imagine being with anyone else. I was too dependent on her though and my life basically revolved around my life with her. Breaking up with her made me have to let go of so much, get used to a new life, and I've tried my best to better myself and to grow from the experience. It has also taught me that Im ok on my own, and I can rely on myself. Im very grateful for the growth, despite mourning the loss Im still feeling. I would get back with her in a heartbeat if she wanted to, but it won't happen and I guess it's best this way. It's kinda amazing how we can adapt in situations like this and slowly find happiness in what we have

The human body is equipped to handle life. Until it deceases. God bless yall. Praise Jesus. But Breakups and death are similar in the grieving process. But once you become to terms with it, it makes it easier to live. But alot of people never really come to terms with losing friends and family. But independence, unity, teamwork, are all apart of life. Some people like to be codependent but some are just dependent. Those who are dependent need to realize they are also independent creatures as well. Its a balance

What you dont understand is, if she took you back, it would exaaactly end like it did the first time. Do you mind telling me why she broke up? Trust me, im probably older than you, if a woman breaks up with you once, dont take her back. Thats a lesson you will probably need to make yourself. And more importantly, NEVER make a woman the center of your life. Youll always end up losing. And last tip, wich you probably wont understand either until youve got more experience: highly emotional men and very nice guys will eat alot of dirt in this life.
@valentinevansteenbergen9991
@valentinevansteenbergen9991 4 дня назад
@@oranges557 The reasons she gave me were that she didn't feel loved and that I wasn't actually listening to her wants and needs. She told me that a few times further into the relationship, and that really made me feel much more insecure and like a faillure. I worked on being able to listen to her needs better and being able to be the partner she wished for. But it seemed like I never really got it. It was never enough. And I've blamed myself tremendously for all of it, felt like such a faillure and worthless. But recently I don't think it was all me anymore. Yes, I was insecure, I was too dependent, it was tough to take the lead at times. I realised with my insecurity I probably drew all energy to me which made her feel that way. I wasn't healthy. But neither was she I believe. I was consistently trying to make an effort to figure things out, to find out what I could do to make her feel more loved and listened too. To make her feel understood. But it just got so frustrating when it never seemed to change anything. It was always vague what she wanted me to do. At certrain points she didn't hold back and straight up told me I felt like a burden and I was taking more energy than giving it. There's more to it ofc but I could write a whole ffing book about it.

i really needed this video. ive been really mentally ill my entire life and its deeply affecting the one i love most. ive been on a journey to become a better person and focus on myself and its still so difficult when even during that process im still hurting them. theyve stuck with me for a while - im so happy theyre giving me this chance to heal, and this gave me a better outlook on things. you're really strong man, i hope you know. breakups especially like yours where the relationship lasted years, they aren't easy and sometimes that's hard to acknowledge. it's good that you've processed things but despite that, you're still being vulnerable and opening up that you miss her which is great instead of pushing back on them and creating more mental strain. god, i'm only a teenager and this has opened my eyes to when life throws hard things at you like this, it's not always the end of the world. you are a great example of the healing process. thanks steven for this video!! this is the first video ive watched of urs but def new sub !! ur rly close to 300!!

I think it's because there's this narrative that's pushed to women that men don't want relationships or that all they want is sex or that men don't want commitment etc etc So it truly is shocking to see that a guy genuinely loved his girlfriend because the assumption is always that they're probably hooking up with another girl right after you because of how much they love sex or sleeping around
