walk around from today. Had the t56 swap for years. Thanks to Seth Smith for putting my trans in on xmas years ago and various other help. Bruce Holder for the tow, support etc. Brandon Darcey and Caleb N. for the support and track help. Randy Smith for the beast mode pump gas tune. and also Kevin, Clark and JJ at Raceland Auto Center for the many mods(Killer chiller drag kit, meth, line lock, svt raptor efans etc) yall installed and taking great care of ole red while in your shop. Best pass to day is 11.110 @ 124mph. 60' was 1.62.

Did you keep the same rods and such or did you rebuild the whole motor. I have 108k on my 01 L and was wondering if I should just go ahead and rebuild it or just do heads/cams I just don't know if the internals after 108k would be able to last you know

Andrew Eddy i have a MMR longblock. I personally would not risk $3000-$4000 of head work on a stock bottom end no matter if it has zero miles on it.

That's what I figured. I was leaning more toward 278s myself. With the cams and head work what whp would you say you gained approx?

Andrew Eddy put down 472/575 on PSI's dyno. with addiction to headers/ported heads and cams. put 402/520 on futeral's dyno without that stuff and the same bolt ons.

Got a question, how much boost are you pushing? I am looking at the 278's and while talking with the comp cam guy he suggested to keep the same duration but bigger lobe separation (custom grind) 117-118 if I'm going to run higher boost. I plan later down the road to spray it but that much later. What do you think?

It makes around 20-21lbs. These are off the shelf cams. Have cams speced for what you will do in the end. I just got mine to idle rough when I thought I'd keep the Eaton forever

+SVTBansheeman your whipple is at 20-22? I'm gonna get a whipple for my set up. I figure if I'm gonna build it I'm gonna build it right

+Andrew Eddy the Whipple should make about 20-21lbs based off of what others make with a 8lb lower and 3.0 upper. I do not have an aftermarket boost gauge. I do have ported heads and full 3" so that helps a ton in efficiency. The blower will make a lot of heat at that boost level. My truck pulls timing around the 1000'mark at the track

+SVTBansheeman my heads are about done at the machine shop and with talking to him he said with it being boosted for the money I'd put into it, the outcomes not worth it

Alexander Chambers stock 3.73's with original 60k miles on it no. diff cover has never been off as far as i know. Zero problems. No noises.

Alexander Chambers dark stars wheels. made in china. 315x60x15 rear www.jegs.com/i/Mickey-Thompson/672/3763R/10002/-1?parentProductId= front is the 28" tall mickeys they came out with. Pretty popular/trendy on LR forums.

Jesus Nunez A local shop did it. They used OEM raptor relays and hard wired it. A/C clutch on one fan, toggle switch for the other fan. No stupid efan controller.

At the time of this video, it was a 2/5 shop. Stock shocks. It's currently a 3/5 drop and still has stock shocks.

+Randy Bosarge raptor f150. it outflows most oem efans. so therefor more air flow means better working KC.

LOTS of grinding on the brake caliper. There's threads on it on lightning rodder. Or get aerospace rear brakes for $1000 Or do the "JDM brake mod" which is also explained on the forums. Basically mill the mount holes closer so its very little grinding for stock calipers.

Wheels are dark stars. They only make one size. Tires are 315x60x15 rear, 28" mickeys in the front

+Robby Boulet 15x10 and 17x 4.5 i think. it's whatever is for the Lightning bolt pattern. they only make one size.

I dont think it matter as long as it's from the 6.2L trucks. If im not mistaken, the 5.0 trucks have the same fan. If you do it, get HD Circuitry's wiring kit. The fans pull a massive amount of power.

Clean, clean, clean. Dude how much time, money, and dedication did you invest on your truck? I have a bone stock 04' sonic blue Ligjtning with 81,000 miles on the clock and I can't wait to have it like yours. I heard a truck with the combos you have run at about $30K-$40K is that accurate??
