Beautiful wrist free flow. Challenging with clear directions & I Love hearing your ujaii breath throughout the practice reminding me to focus on my breath Thank You❤🙏 Namaste
Maris, thank you a million times for your variety of hands free yoga videos! I recently had surgery on my wrist due to being bitten by a very cute stray cat who lured me in with his snuggly eyes and your videos are a god send! I actually feel stronger than before my surgery and am more motivated to practice yoga for at least an hour every day. Thank you for your generosity and your guidance!!!
Thank you for sharing your gift of wrist-free and hands-free yoga sequences. I have been going through elbow and shoulder injuries over the past year. It has been challenging to find creative ways to exercise and to continue my yoga practice. When I found your WF and HF yoga videos, I felt like my prayers had been answered. Your sequences, ques, and teaching style are excellent. I am looking forward to enjoying more of your WF and HF videos in the future. Namaste💕
I have no idea why it took me so long to search for wrist-free yoga! Thank you so much! Recovering from a broken wrist has been rough. I wish I would have been doing this all along!
Glad you found my channel! Here's a playlist of all my wrist-free yoga videos - ru-vid.com/group/PLCt_FzY6JsJ6eBRNZf1v9yBvXIlC8WSLJ - hope you try out the other classes too. Thanks for practicing with me. :)
This is my physical therapy flow... Anytime I injure myself or just need some recovery time, this is my favorite flow. It's easily modifiable, infinitely gentle, but softly challenging. It's like a prescription :-)❤
This is my favorite!!! Thanks for the wrist free sessions, I love them!! You are an awesome instructor and I love your calming voice. Many blessings to you and your family, Maris. Namaste
Thanks so much for providing videos for yoga without any strain on the shoulders. Ever since I injured my shoulder I've been noticeably less active. But coming across this video made me really hopeful that I can still maintain my life style until the injury is fully recovered.
+shafagh kamkar You're welcome. I have more of these classes that don't put weight on the shoulders. Hope you try the other videos too while you are recovering. There is definitely a way to practice without aggravating injury; we just have to be mindful. Thanks for practicing with me.
Maris, I want to thank you for your wonderful videos. I was introduced to your yoga videos during the pandemic, and they became a staple and high point of my week. I do not do them as often but can rely on them when I can't get to a yoga class.❤
Thank u Maris for truly relaxing, centering and somewhat challenging practices. After discovering I have carpel tunnel, finding your wrist free classes was lifting. 🙏
Hi Maris, Thank you for including such great practices for people who can't do flows that include the hands. I was worried that I would have to give up yoga but your videos mean I can continue. I'm feeling really strong and my balance has improved so much!
I am grateful for this practice with you today, Maris. The focus on the lower body was familiar yet challenging in its pace and level. Will continue with these wrist-free, elbow-easy practices. Namaste.
+Devi Benedicte I. Paez Thanks Devi! I'm thinking of ways to introduce more variety in the wrist-free classes. Glad you are able to practice while recovering. Namaste. :)
I love your hands free yoga videos, perfect pace. I had rotator cuff surgery & was able to practice during my recovery, definitely improved my lower body strength & most importantly my balance!👍👍😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰
I haven’t done your hands/wrist free yoga sessions for a while. Glad I came back. I’m hoping to see more of this type of wrist free but challenging workouts! Thank you
Dear Marisa! I'm a daily yoga practitioner and last week broke my left arm, which is fixed in cast now. Your beautifully designed flow allows me to continue my practice in a modified way. Would be nice to try out also an advanced hands-free practice, but this was also really inspiring and encouraging on my way to recovery. Thank You!
I have been doing power yoga for a while and decided to try a change of pace. What a nice and relaxing practice. I enjoyed all the long stretches and deep breathing. Truly a great way to start the day. Thank you!
You're welcome! I have a playlist of all wrist-free yoga flows. NO sun salutations in any of these. Hope you try them out too. ru-vid.com/group/PLCt_FzY6JsJ6eBRNZf1v9yBvXIlC8WSLJ
I lift weights between days and like to do wrist free yoga. This hour long class is perfect for my hand resting days. It’s challenging & I actually felt like I worked out. I’d appreciate more of wrist free hour long range classes. Thank you for high quality sessions!
Here's another YOGA FLOW class WITHOUT Downward Dog, Plank, and Chaturanga. Check out the third section on the channel home page to see other hands-free and wrist-free practices. These are great classes to do when you need to give your wrists, elbows, and shoulders a break BUT you still want to flow and connect breath with movement. Try it out and let me know what you think! Thanks everyone - Maris :)
I have tendonitis of my thumb and wrist. Perfect class...your holds in the postures makes it challenging and adds stretch and endurance. Your instructions are so clear. Thanks for this lovely class!
Many thanks for this powerful session Maris! I feel so grateful that I could do this practice from home. I truly enjoyed: the guidance, the pace, the sequneces, all. Big Thanks!
Another amazing hands free class - thank you Maris! It was both relaxing and strong. I also love the graceful transitions between poses and the flow from one pose to another. Namaste
Thank you for this video. I've injured my hand and thought I wouldn't be able to continue my daily practice. Challenging and nourishing all at the same time :)
Thank you for the array of hands-free videos as I recover from an injury. I especially appreciate the videos with nice long savasanas at the end which mean I don't have to jump up to stop the next video from playing before I enjoy the final posture. : )
Thank you for this session. I was looking a long time for hands free yoga session. I broke my elbow this year and I already can't put my weight on it. So this is perfect for me. Although my english is not so good, I understand all of the instructions.
Hi Maris! I am a new subscriber. After doing several of your yoga videos, I felt I really connected with your teaching style. Then this morning, I tried this video, and I have to say that this is one of the most enjoyable practices I've done in quite some time! I loved it. I really love the Vinyasa style, but I sometimes get burned out on chatarangas and down dogs, doing them constantly. They are nice poses, but I think are overdone. I loved being able to really get into and experience the postures you taught here. Thank you for being you, and sharing your yoga with us!
awesome, amazing, superb. you are the expert of chaturanga free sessions love them the balance poses were testy fell many times enjoyed it and thank you .God bless.
+Mohamed Rafeeuddin Thanks Mohamed! I know you prefer these chaturanga-free classes. Glad you enjoyed it. It's ok to fall in the balance poses; it's all part of the fun, isn't it? Namaste :)
+Daneeta Loretta Jackson You're welcome! Glad you like it. Hope your hand feels better soon. In the meantime, there are other hands-free classes here on my channel. Thanks :)
Thanks so much for the Hands Free Yoga Videos! I can't do downward dog or planks due to an eye issue. I was so disappointed to think that I wouldn't be able to do a flow class again, so these are perfect! Plus, I feel like i've worked muscles I didn't even know I had!
Maris, I love your yoga videos! Have been doing yoga with you for several months now and I really enjoy the pace, the variety of poses, and your lovely soothing voice! :) Thank you!!
Hi Steve! You're welcome! And thank you for offering your support here on RU-vid. You have early access now to a new video that is set for public release on Friday Dec 4th. Let me know if you have any questions about membership. With gratitude, Maris :)
I love the hour long wrist free classes. I have done them all hundreds of times!!! Is it possible for you to make more of these? I tried to send you an email that I would be happy to pay you to create more and publicly post them!! Let me know !
Hi Stacey! I film yoga videos in advance so there are already scheduled classes for the next few months. There will be more wrist-free videos. I try to provide a variety of styles and lengths. It might be a few more weeks before the next wrist-free class comes out. :)
I love your classes. Especially the yin yoga. I have issues with my thyroid and can't get my heart rate too high so thank you so much for your classes! God bless!
This was amazing. I did yoga for years. I hur5 my wrist and have been sos ad because I can’t find any yoga classes without a million planks that is still a strong workout. I loved this.
Glad you liked it, Stacey! I have many more wrist free yoga classes on the channel. Please go to my playlists and see the Wrist Free/Hands Free yoga videos. :)

Thank you so much for the many wrist free yoga classes you have created (: After straining my neck and shoulder a couple of months ago, I haven't been able to find many flows online that are free of poses like downward dog and chaturanga. I am so grateful for your channel, as yoga is such a big part of my life. Your presence is calming and I always feel so refreshed after one of your practices. Namaste!
very nice, thats what i miss about yoga ,.it was always extremely calming ,.mentally and physically, but yeah this definitely helps me out in my line of work
I started doing yoga as I’ve been seeing more work related injuries last year. Your videos encouraged me to challenge myself more and more and finding myself executing poses that I thought I couldn’t manage is an absolute blast! Salamat po🙏
this wrist-free class really helps a lot, and i am so into your 60 mins practice, love your pace and cues much! i have almost finished all of your 1hr classes, yeah :) thank you !
Thank you so much. This is the best practice I’ve had since shattering my elbow over two years ago. I am an old yoga teacher and I plan to use some of this. Where are you located? I’d love to come to an in person practice with you.
thank you, thank you, thank you so much. I have finally found a yoga video that i can do, cause it does not require me to be on my knees. I know it says wrist free but it is pretty much knee free also. I can't kneel on my knees for very long due to pain so this class was wonderful and you are an amazing instructor. i have watched a few different yoga videos in the last week and you are by far my favorite. Do you have any suggestions as to what other videos I should do that would be standing, sitting and lying poses?
+Abby Cheramie Hi there! Thanks for trying out my videos. I'm glad you found some classes that work for you. You just gave me a NEW video idea - "knee-free" yoga flow classes! I didn't even think about that. Let me start planning for those because other people out there may also have the same experience that you do. Thank you! It might be challenging to find a video of mine that is completely "knee-free" because I almost always include low-lunges. My suggestion is to replace the low-lunges with high-lunges (back knee and heel lifted, balance on the ball of your foot) and half-splits with a pyramid pose so you don't have to put weight on your knees. Hope that helps! :)
Hi Kerri! Yes, all of the longer videos are on the membership site. Also, moving forward, most hour-long videos will be exclusive to members. Here's the link if you want to check it out and do a free trial: www.yogauploadplus.com/ Let me know if you have any questions. The MOBILE APP is also launching very soon! That's part of the membership. Stay tuned for that. :)
If you like this video, consider downloading it so you can watch it offline and own it forever! Click here for my online store: sellfy.com/p/3Obu/ Thanks everyone! - Maris :)
Lovely, except that the runner´s twist does involve putting pressure on the wrists which defeats the purpose of the video- I am not advanced enough to just put my finger tips on the floor! Other than that, it was great. Thanks.
