@@bosschedda_ A lot of times it comes down to pride. Nobody wants to admit that they made a mistake, and say that they miss their ex. I think people that say an ex comes back 2-4 months on average are wrong. I rarely see it happen that way. That's the best case scenario.

Go on with your life as if you know they will never come back. No contact is torture if you believe they will come back, most of the time they don't. And if they do, you might have decided by then that they're not right for you anyways. Life is too short to hold onto heartbreak. Find someone that loves you for who you are. I'm 3 weeks into getting dumped by someone who completely blindsided me with it, but these last 3 weeks have made me realize that she's not right for me anyways. Time to move on, enough of these videos.

And I probably won't see her for a while yet, we talked about it though, we're both willing to stay together until things normal out. But I'm unsure if we will last until this virus slows down...could last well over a year. That's a long time for a couple to be apart. Totally right man. I have been getting my heart string pulled on and off the last 2 weeks of our breakup. I've done most of the wrong things, I reached out, apologized, sent flowers, put pressure on her, etc. Only caveat to my situation is I pushed her away the whole 2 years we were together, but when she actually left it hurt. I do want her back, she did reach out about a week in and gave me positive signs it could turn around and she'd see me, but then she went cold. The end game here for me is to realize I am the catch, I am worth it, then it becomes regretful but not insurmountable she doesnt want me any more. Push forward, it is the only way out, love your life and yourself, however haltingly tough and long it takes to get there. I feel for everybody out there going through the heart break, but keep pushing, be the happiest and best you can, and one day soon we will come to a place where we are happy, regardless if your ex comes back
I'll say for certain that if you dated this person a year or more, they are definitely still thinking about you A LOT! Think of the random people you've thought of just today that you haven't seen in years. The human brain just doesn't work to forget. Rebounds are actually a good thing and if you maintain a low profile I can assure you they will be thinking about you even more. In most cases the dumper is fighting to stay strong because they are the ones who are having to live with such a decision.

I would argue that short term relationships are just as bad or worst. I got dumped by a girl because she was foolish to be dating at a time in her life when she was bombarded with full-time school and work..but we never once argued, and I do not regret any minute I spent with her.. the pain of knowing we could have made so many more amazing memories, and all of that vanishing instantly is insane. But it's been almost 2 months of NC but I still dont know what to even feel anymore. Just trying to focus on myself.. if she reaches out I won't respond.

He broke up with me on Nov. 24th 2020. I've been NC since then. I only replied an email in one sentence about returning his stuff. But other than that.... NC till death. I just found yesterday that days before Xmas he was out on a date and apparently he had an argument with this girl. The girl called him an as***** and left him at the bar/restaurant. He then decides to walk home and stops at a bar..... starts talking sh*t to a girl so this girl's bf punches him in the face! He woke up on the floor of his apartment not knowing how he made it home. I guess the dumper do hurt because if this is not self destructive behavior I don't know what it is. I'm still NC and also don't have any social media since March 2020. So I basically disappeared from the face of the earth to him. I'm working on myself a lot. Therapy, traveling (always had but this time I'm flying solo), reconnecting with friends I had "abandoned " because of the relationship. I want to become a better version of myself.

We never did follow each other on social media, it just wasn't a big thing for us, plus my Facebook page has always been pretty much locked down since I first created it. I have a new Instagram account that I have purposely left open...so maybe. We split for a while many years ago, and once we got back together, he admitted that he was looking at the Facebook page of my new guy. He got quite animated and jealous about it.

Do not contact him. He thinks he can have you on the back burner, and take you back whenever he feels like it. He couldn't last a week? He is weak. He thought he could have all the same benefits without the commitment. Show him you are strong and take time to focus on yourself. Even if you want him back, you have to give it a substantial amount of time, so you can find yourself again and then decide what it is you really want. At this time his reaching out is simply to keep tabs on you. If you go back now, know that it would fail.

I figured I would try journaling my thoughts as the video suggests. I feel a bit anxious, as a woman who I fell in love with deeply for almost 2 years needed to break away a couple of weeks ago. I feel like I screwed up and pressured her into a breakup by complaining too much about how my emptional needs weren’t being met. I feel stupid for blaming her when in fact I should have been dealing with my own insecurities. I have learned since the breakup that it is in part my job to deal with my own issues and to select a mate that fills my emotonal tank, not blame someone whom I chose to be with for not having the skill set to fill my tank. Yo Rory it’s been about a week since she broke it off and now I’m looking back reflecting on what happened and see it’s a lot of it was my fault. Being needy, her being the main/only focus in my life. I sensed it was going to come to this point of breaking up just 2 weeks before it happened just like your videos suggest. I still have healing and bad habits to clear up like checking on her social media and such but overall with your videos I’m feeling much better. We met for the stuff. But it was just like 2 months after the break up. I got a new look but she's still firm with her decision. We were in an almost 4 years relationship and lived together for 2 years so I think it will take her alot more time than usual. I do think that whenever I reach out regarding the stuff she needs, she interprets it as me being suspiscious or wanting her back. Yesterday was the REAL START OF MY NO CONTACT since there is no reason to contact anymore. and we have a licensure examination coming up so I think she's putting all things aside and concentrate on that cause it's a really big deal. I don’t usually comment here on RU-vid despite being young or the history I have using this platform but people deserve to read this, I’m 30 and gave my 2 year old relationship my all, I hit an economic roadblock and struggles a little bit, my ex now left me and found a rebound 3 days later, I found out and confronted her( don’t do this it’s dumb and you’ll regret it ) after that I went radio silent knowing damm well my worth, 2 weeks later she started reaching out, in these 2 weeks I submerged my self in the love chats videos, and found peace with all the logic behind the channel, she might want me back but im not going to reply nor entertain the chance of getting back to her, People might make mistake but sometimes they repeat those mistakes, so my advice to you is no contact for your self and if you think about getting them back I suggest you take a look at their history and their tendencies then you can come to a clear conclusion. I can probably answer that. I left my ex for another, never slept with anyone while dating her. But did leave for another and she knew I did. I actually felt relieved and happy, but it did hit. Still does, and this was a toxic relationship. So even that was hard to do, I don't claim to be perfect for leaving. But I knew I couldn't stay.
Currently going through divorce to the love of my life for over 7+ years. I was her first love, first husband, first everything and I loved that I had her all to myself for over 7 years. But, this divorce has created a lot of anxiety and jealousy(which I never had before, neither was I controlling) that i know other men are hitting her up like blood in shark infested water. I’ve begged(I know, wasn’t supposed to), pleading, asked her for 90 days to see the improvement that I’ve learned through separation but she still rejected me. She feels that power, I know it. She filed for divorce no matter what I tried to do to get her to realize what separation does to men when they fear the loss of their wives. She served me papers through a friend, thankfully she not asking for anything but her stuff, and we don’t have kids together. There was no cheating, no lying, sex was great especially the day she moved out and asked to have intercourse one last time. The main issue which I know many will probably look at me a different way, I was verbally abusive in the moment of some of our arguments. I’m not a loose canon, I, easy going, and I truly believe that I’ve never been the one to create an argument in my marriage but I’m not perfect and suffer from issues from the military. When I feel attacked or put down after someone keeps persisting an issue, I snap and say a lot of meanful things (in that moment) and have had times I threw stuff at the walls in our house after an argument. But, I always showed how much I valued my wife and did many things to approach her an let her know that I was very remorseful and that I can only regret what I’ve done and tell her to work on myself with my psychologist. After many times and a big blow out on the 23rd of December when my wife got upset with me not going with her to see her parents before Christmas and I told her I just really didn’t want to go and that I didn’t want to drive three hours to Los Angeles and 3 hours back. She got upset and just stubbornness developed. It just keeper continue and we were both stubborn in not wanting to apologize and make things up. She said she felt like we needed to separate because things were just not going well for us. Before she actually moved out, there were many times where I sparked love with her and we continue as if everything was good but she knew she was still going to separate as she felt it was something she needed to do. Anyways long story short, I’ve fought for my wife, spent constant hours reading and watching self help information to help me become a better version of myself, left the former verbal abuser behind with a better mind set in being responsible for my actions and words even through stressful situations that I suffer from the military. I love my wife still and I’m so grateful that her parents still love me and call me their son. Her parents went through something similar but physical abuser was present in their marriage but over time, my wife’s father came back, sought the lord with her, and they’ve been married ever since them reconciling so they know our situation I’d more than fixable and believe she should take time, pray, review herself and the things she could’ve worked on, and after things settle down, reconcile and slowly build the love and trust again for each other. Off topic but those ready this just be sure to provide hope along with giving your input. I’ve had a hard time dealing with the douches that say “move on already”, “man up and get over her”, “She’s an ex for a reason, just let her go”. These people provide no hope and these people are the ones you have to never pay atention to as they probably give up to fast in life when you have to put in a lot of work in for something. Anyways, I love my wife, I miss her, I am “Moving on” but I have hope in the back of my mind that there’s a possibility she could come back. There’s always hope, if they’re still alive and not dead, or married so I will continue to improvemelf and way day we can be in love just like when we vowed to spend our lives together forever. It hurts but you can't move on when you still have hope that she'll come back. You have to focus on yourself and stop thinking about her, let her live her life and start living yours. As rory said, what if they told you that she will comeback to you in 2 days or 2 month, which one would you chose? You'll choose in 2 months if you really care about her, because getting back that soon will only destroy what's left of both. The key word here is to start LIVING your life, yours not hers! As many people say, if you really love her, you need to let her go, because you know she's not happy, that's why she left. Let her try new things and you need to start trying new things. Hey Axel, I really Appreciate you reaching out and providing your input as well. Sounds very motivational and I really appreciate your help in trying to get through this hard phase in my life. Again, thank you for your input, truly means a lot. I also appreciate you that even though you say I shouldn’t have hope (like most douche bags on other sites would say, as they just say “man up, move the fuck on”), you still provided motivation to work on myself and learn to live a good life without thinking about my wife ever coming back. You’re not one of those douche bags so I really appreciate your support. For me, hope isn’t lost. Miracles happen every day and I get that it’s either in the cards for you or it’s not. I completely understand, but I’m not ready to give up hope yet and my divorce is still processing and anything could happen from this point and on. I still have open communication with my wife and this past Sunday I asked her twice for hugs and it restored my faith in ever thinking that she’s gone forever. The main thing I will have to think about and see if I might be able to deal with her coming back after being with other men. I don’t doubt that she could come back, I doubt weather or not I will be able to bring myself to get past of the thought of her being with other men. I had her for 7 years all to myself and knowing that played a big part in the love and passion I had for her. For me hope is not lost and I’m sorry that many people feel the need to say that to others. They don’t know what possibilities are possible. I’m a believer in God and she is also, her parents are actually very hardcore non denominational Christians and they tell her that they don’t believe in divorce and our situation is more that fixable but she’s not willing to put in the work. Trust me bro, I know there’s so many amazing woman out there who could blow my wife out of the water when she’s compared to them and I no way is she spectacular and irresistible, but I married her because of love for her and all of her even all her flaws and all her imperfections. I married and devoted myself to this woman and I still hold true to that devotion still. Maybe devotion might die down as time goes on and I start dating myself. My wife is perfect in my eyes, every speck of her is perfect in my eyes. If I could go back and slap my mouth shut and not say things to push her to fall out of love, i’d Do it 50 times to get myself right in the head and not do something that would jeopardize her being in my life. But shit happens and all I can do is better myself. Everyone I talk to feels like I’m putting my life on hold for her and just waiting around for her to come back. Hell no!!! I’m working on myself more than ever for me because whether I get my wife back or not, there will be someone out there who would love to be with me. So again to make it clear, I’m moving on with my life, no contact, losing weight, in college full time, seeking therapy from military issues, socializing more with random people at school to build friendships as me and my wife were introverts and just loved our own bubble and we were each other’s best friends but I still made sure to show her that intimacy which continued that attraction for each other and my God was the sex great, lol. If you're truly moving on with your life then I see no problem, but I would really recommend watching Corey Wayne's videos. There's more than you think about a relationship. I know I'm in rory's channel but Corey helped me a lot as rory did. Please invest time in Corey's videos and if you could, download audible and buy his book, they give it to you for free if you use they 30 day trial. I know I sound a little harsed and cold telling you to give hope but as you may know, we are energy (is my opinion, no an actual fact) and I think when we still grabbing that hope and forcing it to stay, we create a bad connection and energy. When we let go of the mindset that she'll come back, that's when she feels you're moving on and she starts to wonder if she made the right decision. I know is hard to trust me, I know I'm a little kiddo of 18 years old, but i was in your place and I didn't lose hope believing that by doing that she'll comeback. I'm not trying to force thing upon you, or to obligate you to follow them. Im just a little fella trying to give you my experience so you can take the best of this and apply it to your life. PS. Odds are great that she was with him before breaking up with you. They rarely leave a solid relationship just to be alone. In most cases, they’ve found what they believe is a better option. Let her regret her decision by leaving her alone. If you were good to her, then she may reconsider. By then, however, you will most likely not want her back.

How bad is it to not be posting happy/fun stuff on your social media? I'm about a month and a half into NC and I've pretty much stopped using my social media. Not entirely due to her; I just haven't really wanted/needed to.
It isn't bad. This is consider radio silence while also doing NC. Basically you fell off the Earth. In some cases it's speeds up the anxiety in your ex. It's a strategy used by a lot of people.
My ex and I have the same group of friends. Ive been laying low working on me hitting the gym. Been on NC for 2 weeks. My question is she has unfriended me on snap and blocked me on Instagram about a week after we broke up. Now I'm waiting untill after Valentine's day to contact her that will be about 50 days just to check in. I plan on hanging out with our friends in early March. So the question is even if she doesn't reply what should I do when I do see her again? We broke up due to her not being emotionally equipped to be in a relationship and she said she needed to work on herself.
I don't think NC work on somebody who left after 10 years saying we are too different (crying while breaking up) and in reality having someone else waiting for him, I would have put my hand in the fire- this sure i was about his honesty. Been in NC from the day one (this happened 5 weeks ago)...it shattered my heart. I know he won't return, I just wan't to find a way to start healing and find a will to live my life.
Im currently A month through a break up, focus on your self, not what there doing keeo active and busy...if you have kids like me just contact for them only at night times to say good night, eventually you see they reach out to you, just be nice ☺ show your not dwelling on the past and they realise your in a better place than what they left you, put it this way she wants to meet up in a few days, and I started begging at the beginning also btw!

I didn’t strike when the iron was hot and I may have blown my chances BUT when my ex did reach out to me a few months ago there was just something about her text that felt off to me, her text was kind of manipulative so I went with my gut and just didn’t respond and honestly I think I made the right decision, I don’t think I want to get back together with her but I want her to want me back if that makes sense, it’s kind of a shitty feeling to have but oh well, do exes reach out multiple times if you don’t reply back?

Holy fuck so i got insecure over her getting back in contact with her exes, i learned to accept it because i didn’t want to be controlling and trusted her that she no longer loved them and she didn’t have a lot of friends, she said how she kept stalking one of her exes to see if he was online a few weeks back which i found very strange, they talked for a few weeks and then she left me after i got jealous over her new guy friends (i blame myself not her) am i overthinking this or could she have done what this video says (they broke up like 1 and a half years ago but recently got back in contact). Im just trying to figure out what went wrong and if she caught feelings for him again. Just kinda crossed my mind but maybe she was just trying to be friends (she has a couple of exes that she has friendships with and wanted me to speak to them etc)
The day we broke up, I thought I will never recover. Then I discovered these videos on what guys go through. It took me 7 days to be ok with it. The videos help a lot. You do describe the situation I was in and I was cracking joke and making him laugh during the break up. Complete no contact since then. Now I am good. He was out last night and I posted a photo that was just a beautiful photo of the sky with a # that could have been directed to him or not. He was out and checking it a few times. So it was a sign to me that he is in that curious stage. He has been posting photos of how much fun he is having with friends. Something he doesn't do usually.
What if I was the rebound guy in the situation? My ex ended a 5 year relationship in January after being cheated on, and then we got together in March. My ex broke up with me at the beginning of July and she's not reached out at all, other than once to arrange returning our things almost right away. I didn't beg or plead at all during the breakup and did the "let me know if you change your mind" chat. The fact that I've heard nothing in all that time and I'm pretty sure she's with someone else, leaves me thinking the odds aren't great...
Not to crush your hope, but you being a rebound doesn't do a lot to help your case. It's entirely possible that her feelings for you never ran that deep and once she experienced what being with you was like, it fizzled out. The best thing you can do is keep NC and work on moving on. In the best case scenario she comes back and you will be in a good place.

I was broken up with just over 6 weeks ago, and I handled it pretty moderately, found out that she started dating a guy she knew from work about a a week and a half after our break up (which she likely lined up i.e. grass is greener) Though again, I handled it good I didn't do any major amount of pleading, and didn't really beg, but I did facebook stalk, and she had posted pictures she tagged her new date in (he wasn't in the picture, it was just with him) For background information, me and her always planned on riding up the STL Arch, as it would have been my first time, after the break up however, as a sort of celebration to myself I decided to take myself to the Arch on what would have been our 1 year anniversary and the day before my birthday. She knew I was going there that day, as I had posted it on my facebook (that I was doing it for my birthday) and she commented "happy birthday" yet she took her new bf there the same day I went... (She had also taken her mom somewhere I went, the day after she knew I went, and made sure that I knew she did) Anyway, I obviously got heated and so I sent her a message basically critiquing her, as she had asked before why I never critiqued her during the break up, so I took that shot. Obviously in poor judgememt. As you can expect, she got mad, messaged and then blocked me on messanger, though she did not delete me as a friend on facebook, nor block me there. I have been no contact since then, only a week and a half and I could easily keep going, however, should I send one last "happy holidays, I feel I've been a jerk, we both did some dumb things, hope you are well" type of text to help clean the slate for her for future communications? I will obviously not reply to what ever message she replies with, if any, though this way no contact can have a better effect on her, maybe open her up to stalking my facebook again? Then in the future if she contacts, I can follow up as you normally suggest?

My stbx said when we were NC he was "So happy" as he could go to movies and basically he could be a kid again and all his money and time is spent on fun. He actually used the word "I feel like I am on vacation". I am stuck at home with two kids and caring for everyone and everything and doctors appointments everyday. Made me feel mad and hurt as I have no vacation and I don't get to sleep in or have a vacation, but I do have the kids and they are worth more than anything. I hope he is feeling these feelings as this is the first time he has bought our kids gifts on a holiday. He had ten years to do something nice and be nice and keep his promises and NOW he wants to keep all these promises he made for years. I'm not buying. He had opportunities galore and didn't care or do anything until it was too late and the damage to our trust and my kids trust in their father was gone. He never once thought to get them a valentines gift until he had nothing but time on his hands and he can keep all of that lonely time.

I was in a 5 year relationship. We have been through think and thin with me being in the millitary for a year and working abroad for about 6 months, she was always supportive and patient. Due to me expressing uncertainty about the future one day, I was feeling down, she snapped. It was like she became another person in a matter of weeks. She ended up breaking it off. After a few failed attempts to get her back I quickly went into no contact. She broke NC on day 36. we met up that day, 3 hours, and she told me she wanted me back but I told her that I was only partially interested since she broke my trust. She said she would make a huge effort ect. I called her the next day because I felt I was abit harsh,given that I negglected her slightly in the relationship, opened up abit and started getting resistance from her. I panicked, called her, tried to set a date to meet up, again she acted flaky so told her good luck with her life. I sent her a text 2 hrs later saying "sorry about today Im a little confused". In NC again. What now ?

I can't really understand your question but if you regret breaking up with her maybe you should realize you've done a mistake and make it up to her without being too apologetic.

Can you do a video on no contact when children are involved. My situation is very difficult because I look after my children at our old house while my ex goes to work in the evening. And when she comes home I go back to my mum and dads. I don’t want my children’s lives to be affected because of this break up so that’s why I do this
Love your work man I had been watching the con artist side of breakup videos for the longest time before I found you. My ex reached out at 1:30am after out anniversary just saying "its the 23rd" "Well it was" and I just replied "Yeah it was hope you had a good day" I know you council trying to set a date but it was only 3 weeks into no contact after two weeks of begging and pleading followed by two weeks of begrudging hangouts and cold behavior. I decided to wait for a more meaningful contact and to give me more time to work on myself. Let me know if that puts me in the position to reach out your input is appreciated
