Im an OT and when I write paper notes they have to start with "therapist introduced, consent gained" and usually it dosent fit on one line so like 50% of the time I end up writing "The-rapist introduced consent gained" and I think of this episode every time 😭😂

Look, IASIP is honestly one of my favourite shows, but fuck me even as a Brit. I'm sick of hearing about Wrexham for several minutes most podcasts. I mean, we only get (roughly) a third of the podcast actually dedicated to the episode, a third for general discussion and a third talking about a football/soccer team. Them discussing the actual episodes is usually far more entertaining so I thank you for the time stamps.

I listen to a handful of podcasts and not one of them doesn't have topics or segments that I'll skip. My favorite is stand up comedians who for some reason feel the need to read every single upcoming city and date for their tour, every episode.

As much as I love Meg, the episodes where she’s gone are amazing

Y'know, maybe this is from growing up on Scooby Doo (and later on fallout) but I always thought of ghouls as being some sort of zombie-ish, non-ghost, supernatural monster. They hit the nail on the head with goblins though lol.

I had to log in just to repond to this, "lifer" was an old English word with two meanings, "liver" like the organ, but also an adoption from the Latin word "laver" meaning water plant, which is a word we still use to mean seaweed, there is evidently a meal called Laverbread in Wales. That's according to wiktionary, Wikipedia says Lifer means "thick clotted water", but one could see how a word meaning the plant specifically might have led to the word being understood as a pond filled with the plant. And pool just means pool

When I think of ghouls, I like to think of a leprechaun but with no hair or clothes. Still green though.

​@@nickg1743 Well, it took them about 1 and a half years to get their first promotion, from a division where there are less promotion spots available, and they went close in their first season to achieving that. In the division they've gone into there are going to be 4 promotion spots up for grabs to go up to the next one, and then if they get there there will be 3 promotions spots to get up to the next one and if they get up there there is 3 promotion spots up to the next division, which is the premier league. Yep, divisions get tougher, but I'm sure they're in it to get promotions and they're willing to invest further, below the premier league most clubs aren't really spending any big money if at all. 5/6 years and they're in the prem, they're going to do a Fulham when they were taken over by Muhammad Al Fayed, they were a mediocre team in division 3 (now known as league 2, which they have just been promoted to) and in about 4/5 years they reached the premier league. It's been done before mate, so I don't know why it's "impossible".

But I was very happy they spent so much time talking about the Wrexham promotion, just wish Meg was there for that because she gets football and the significance of it all a bit more and would have asked better questions of Rob and told her own stories about being there and about Humphrey etc 🤷🏻‍♀️

It became a popular term for people from Liverpool because it was a very poor town/city and Scouse is a super cheap meal to make. My family always called Scouse "Lobbies", which I now know is from the Lob part of Lobscouse! I still make a huge pan of Scouse every couple of weeks and portion it up and stick it in the freezer. You can make enough for 6 or 7 portions for about £3!
