Don't compare with bullet train with indian train .. there's a vast difference in the traveling cost in both countries.. he paid about 11000 rupees to travel 500 km when it comes to india we can travel first class train under 1000 rupees ..

However, when I tried to book using the English site, it said that booking for that train isn't available. How do you reserve the seat for this train? Thank you! (I live outside Japan so it would be impossible for me to book this directly at the train station.. Haha I can only book it on my first day in Japan and I hope to be boarding this train on my 3rd day-- so only 2 days gap!)

This train is very popular among Japanese people today and reservations are really hard to get. Every day you can make reservations for the day one month in advance, but within seconds all the seats are booked up.

i wish there's an easier way to book this sleeper train :( it seems like u can only book offline on the counter or on JR sites in full japanese, and most ppl said the booking for room is extremely difficult & often left with nobi nobi type of seat
