Usually when someone tries to hide it, it's more obvious. Maybe it depends on the person but some people can tell I'm into them if they are super observant. I hate that.

For when I experienced this it was true, made me hate myself more that I didn't try harder, life always seems to hand me love when I'm actually about to give up on it and focus on myself. Life has some pretty good moments but my mind overshadows them with the negative, like how I could have avoided losing my mind buried my feelings and could have salvaged something by blocking the one person I was falling out with, trying to minimize seeing her as much as possible until I got over her and shared with others what was going on with me...but didn't do that instead I chose to try burning every bridge and by that point I had sobered up I had done too much and became worse and worse, when all I needed to do was walk away, ignore her, mute them do what ever I had to in a shared environment with them

I rarely compliment a person I find attractive because I am pretty sure I would overdo and make them uncomfortable. It's rather difficult wanting to give a meaningful compliment without making it too obvious you're fascinated by them. Also, I'm sure the way of telling them (like tone and facial expressions etc.) would give it all away in my case.
I had a friend who used to be a really rude and childish person and I was completely oblivious to it for a few months, and then I realized how toxic she was, so I told her I was done being friends. Two years later, we talk a little bit and we became friends again. She's so much better of a person and she even admits her mistakes, as do I. Shes hilarious and pretty and I'm starting to realize I probably like her. A lot of people find her annoying, but she just has an eccentric personality and I can tell she really is a cool person now instead of someone trying to act like a 'cool kid' or something. Her development is amazing and I'm glad to have her as a friend, although a lot of people think she's strange, I know she really is an awesome person, and I've seen her prove herself multiple times. If you're reading this, (no name will be shared ofc) love ya girl, even though I know you don't back. Still surprised you want to be friends with me despite how much of a buzzkill I can be, and also our history. Friendships are beautiful, and me and hers relationship does show that you should give people second chances. Anybody can change, so don't push yourself to ignore someone just because of who they were in the past. The present is the most important moment of your life, because it's what is happening right now, and will always happen right now. Anyways I'm getting sidetracked. The gazing thing is so true. Staring at your love interest rarely registers as attraction, it only makes him/her feel intimidated. Its like pointing out at someone with the finger.
Number 7, the last one, I actually feel bad for this one because someone who just wants to be treated normally get ridiculous reactions from others that make them feel uncomfortable. From extreme cat calling, to being bothered by your employer (and then not reciprocating this and being treated badly because you won’t flirt back) sucks.

The only thing I experience in this list is I'm hardly ever complimented, but I don't think it's for the reason the video says. I was severely bullied for my appearance growing up and it damaged me beyond repair.
If that’s you in your profile pic then you’re beautiful! I think sometimes being insecure can come off as being stuck up and then even if you are beautiful people will be uncomfortable around you because they think you’re judging them. Once you gain more confidence this hinderance will fade away and you might notice more people gravitating towards you.
For some reason I have trouble pinpointing strong emotions while they’re happening, and this leads to weird thoughts. Today my crush was talking to me and it was a pretty good experience! My thoughts afterwards came to how I was feeling. All I could describe it as was good terror, and feeling giddy. Later I realized that it was thrill, but good terror was such an oxymoron. It felt fizzy.

Okay, you need to do a video on how to tell whether people are repelled by you because you’re hot and intimidating and hard to relate to vs. because you’re at the bottom of the social hierarchy. I think another sign is, if they are really insecure they won't come up to you and start a normal conversation right away, but rather linger around whereever you are and throw in random sentences (egg. "I'm so thirsty", "wow this is so crazy") just to catch your attention and make you respond to them. In combination with the starring at you and always being close to you this is a really obvious one, and it can get quite annoying if you are focused on something else at the same time.

There were times when I feel absolutely worthless and ashamed of how I look. But, in the past 5-6 years until now, there are still some people I know (colleagues, lecturers even strangers online) told me I'm attractive. I guess it would be biased to rate my own given how everyone has their own idea of attractiveness. So, I used that confidence to build image for myself. Not for others. They are welcomed to have their own say in how I look. We do not live to please others or an eye candy or a subject of criticism. JUST BE YOURSELF. as long as you're comfortable and happy in your own skin.
You don''t have to actually BE attractive to feel attractive. I have met many ugly looking people that truly believe they are really good looking. I don't know. Maybe their parents told them that when they were little and they just believed it. Feeling attractive is in the mind.

@@rimshakhalid787 I'm glad your parents taught you of the truly unimportance of being physically pretty is. It is SO unimportant. As a matter of fact, the prettier you are on the outside, the more likely there is rotten fruit on the inside. Also, the one that counts the most, God and what he sees when he looks at you, physical appearance has absolutely no meaning to him. I can also say that I have had very, very few people in my life that i have dearly loved and cared about and none of those relationships had anything to do with how the person looked on the outside, but how they made me feel on the inside when I was around them. The true value of each person really does abide in their heart. And it seems the prettier a person is on the outside, the less likely they are to work on themselves on the inside.
I have a guy friend at work that does all of these toward me. Some of my female coworkers have noticed it, too. What's even more confusing is that he is in a long term, committed relationship. He's a good guy that would never cheat, so I know that's not what he's looking to do. I like him, too, but I keep my distance because he's taken.

There was this girl who used to tease me in school. She was mean to me, and really invested her time and energy to provoke me. I remember I caught her looking at me through a small mirror once, and one time she asked me if I would ever date anyone and why. Does anyone think that by her behavior she could habe been attracted to me?
After a while I realized I didn't hate her, I loved her. But I couldn't tell if she felt the same way at the time... Guess we were too young to know these things...
It normally feels like people I'm attracted to put in a lot of effort to not pay any attention to me. Like they ignore me when I try to get their attention as they walk by. Or they add you on social media just so they can unfollow you. Or they greet all your friends as you walk into a restaurant but they ignore you specifically.
Sounds like a messy situation, if i or someone else were to determine weather or not they do, we need a lot of context and a detailed story explaining he situation. Then again you can never know what someone is thinking.
i have really low self-esteem -- like, it's in the negative digits, I hate myself. So, even though I sometimes have suicidal thoughts, it's comforting to know that however strong the urge is to end my life, I physically can't bring myself to thanks to that promise. Obviously, it's not great and probably a bit unhealthy to depend your life on one sole thing like a person or God, but if their existence, presence and love is powerful, mutual and stable enough, I think we'll be fine. Just so everyone knows, every person shows love differently. Someone could like you but never even look at you. Don't let a video make you feel unattractive. One thing that kinda makes me feel like people find me attractive kinda is that when I ask something of people they do it and also people are just very welcoming of me and let me get away with some things. Also when I talk people smile and give me their full attention. I’ve also noticed after talking to a boy for a little bit, they always end up seeming like they like me but at the same time what if it’s all in my head. When I tell people my insecurities they seemed surprised but I also am friends with a lot of people who have a ton of insecurities that they’re very open about where I don’t normally share my insecurities
It's common for us to unconsciously take action to hide our insecurities; that's a natural defense mechanism! That's why people are surprised when you share your insecurities. The key is to share with those you trust most. They will understand your feelings and your relationship will strengthen in the process of sharing and communicating!
I've never had a girl display those signs to me, I think I look handsome but sometimes I think I'm boring and get sad over the thought I never had a girlfriend and don't want to face the fact that I will never get one. Having a dislike for using social media, can't call or text with my phone (thanks a lot dad), being a wimp, being geeky and also feel like I'm still a little child because I have three older siblings that all work, I have no money, no car, still follow my mom's rules, I don't swear at home but I sometimes do at school but most people are very vulgar, and no God dang facial hair. There are some girls I talk to but there friends and I highly doubt they're interested in me. The first one is Bisexual and I've kinda said some mean stuff about her interests but we still talk sometimes and joke around. Another girl is a junior we had an interest for heavy metal music and listen to the same sub genres like thrash, speed, death, early metal, and a lot of bands my brothers and I listen to until I learned she already has a boyfriend (never talked to him but I've seen him before and despite me being taller than him it looks he's capable of kicking my ass) and a Senior who I see her in a class and lunch but if we do become boyfriend and girlfriend it will be tricky since she is three years older than me and has a car and a job, but I don't know if she's in to me and we share similar interests , she laughs at my low effort jokes and I'm nice towards her and her brother. Everytime I see a person with their lover in their arms or kissing I ask my myself, can I get that? Why can't I have that? When? This felt like a long rant but it felt good typing this, and at one point I was tearing up. I'm thankful that you've read all of this and I appreciate that.
I'd say I'm good looking but I'm a very quiet person. I don't make myself approachable and usually reject interactions with others. I like it this way. That's why I always hate myself whenever I find interest in a girl, because at the end of the day, I'm better off alone.
I used to have a friend that would call out all my insecurities when we got around boys or someone I liked she would sit there and laugh at me about them with all the boys eventually I called her out about it and later on she told me that she was jealous of me because of the way I looked and that she wish she look like me so she broke me down every time we were around people to make herself feel better😭

I learned about the “they rarely complement you” one a long time ago, I always found it weird that my friends (and even sometimes family) would compliment eachother but rarely me, even when I tried out new hairstyles or outfits. I just thought dang maybe i just don’t look good today :( but as I started growing my self esteem and hyping myself up more, I realized this must be the reason. They don’t say anything bc they assume I already know it. But I hate that so much bc it’s still nice to compliment others every once in a while. Overtime, I’ve learned to just stop caring. To me, I care much about what I don’t like about myself, but my friends are very relaxed about shortcomings or weakness. The criterion for making friends, they believe, is that if they can tolerate the shortcomings of others, they can become friends. This may be the difference between us. Therefore, when I open up something I feel unsatisfied about myself, they are stunned, but help me overcome my insecurities.
I’ve gotten almost all of these. Except, people don’t really talk to me. So whenever someone talks to me, I always tend to stutter because I’m surprised someone had talked to me at all.
