The best way for me to move on from someone who ended it with me, is to tell them to not contact me anymore, block them if I have to, embrace the pain, grieve, move on slowly, and focus on myself. The more I let pain sink in, the quicker I get through it. Because most people will do absolutely ANYTHING to avoid pain. As for me, I embrace it fully. Because pain is the greatest of teachers. Remember that as time goes by, the pain lessens.

Just remember that there are some reasons you broke up with your ex. You probably were not a good enough match. Think of that when you feel down. It will lift your spirit and helps being happy without a relationship :)

My ex somehow missed the signs. He didn't want to see it I guess... It became clear for me that it was time to move on when I realized that I didn't want kids with him or to live together with him. Over time I became more annoyed by his little habbits, and how little effort he put in our relationship. He took me for granted and assumed I was fine with it. I gradually and subtly started to convince him to try harder, but when I finally managed to convince him my feelings for him were fading very fast. I had a hard time breaking up with him, resulting in three breakups instead of one, and still he really didn't see it coming that I wanted us to be over. I'm not mad, I want to be friends. But I never want to date someone as clueless as he was ever again.

I was watching a video in regards of getting your ex back the other night. While it may seem great (though very rare) I think it's best to just simply cut ties and move on. Granted, I've had terrible exes and it reflects on me in a way, I will just be cordial and leave it at that!

She moved on so early. A friend of mine found her on tinder and supposedly his roommate had swiped on her about 2 weeks prior, which led me to realize she had made it about 2-3 weeks after our break up. We had been together for almost 2 years, neither of us cheated or left the relationship angry at one another, we ended things on great terms. She told me not to worry about her seeing other people because she said it wasn’t something she wanted to think about for a long time. Last week I’m positive she hooked up with somebody even tho sex was never something she cared for. She no longer contacts me either. None if it makes sense, it all has me so confused and upset. All this time I’ve been crying over losing my gf, my best friend, but it feels like she doesn’t even care anymore. It makes me feel like none of what we had meant anything, or that I meant anything.

I have a saying that goes like this: Things end for reasons and if those reasons didn't exist, then things wouldn't end. I once had a former love interest try to come back to me and she said "Do you believe that if you love someone and you set them free and if they come back to you it's meant to be?" 😄I replied "No but I do believe that you should get a job with Hallmark".🤣

I simply dislike the fact that out of all 3 long relationships I’ve been in, I was betrayed and disrespected brutally as if I can’t be taken seriously. The last one has rubbed me the wrong way really bad and thinking about a relationship puts my stomach in knots. I still can't understand how could we break apart, and honestly, inside I don't want to leave her behind, I don't want to leave our memories and projects behind. We were so united and symbiotic. And yes, I made mistakes that hurt her, but I wasn't ill intentioned, and I tried to improve, and I was making progress, and we were both committed to carry on despite everything, when suddenly she felt that she loved me no more. I have been through similar confusion, and inside I still hope that this is the same process within her, and that there remains a little of the love that we had for each other. I understand that neither of us were ready or matured for what was coming for our relationship, and that this process can fix that on an individual level. But I still can't conceive my life without her by my side. Edit: and yes, apparently she's beginning a new relationship, only after approximately a month away of our breakup. And I just hope she's not serious, because then she won't come back. And yes, I try to wish what's best for her, but I can't help being terrified looking at the huge hole her abscence leaves on my heart. Edit 2: and, yes, before breaking up, she created an emotional distance, but seemed to come back to me after some time. We last met a week prior to breaking, and she said that she should've kissed me more. And we sexted just 2 days prior to breaking, and we still showed ourselves some love, that's why it's so sudden to me...

ok this made me understand shit on a whole new level...

I just ended it literally last night, could tell that they were never happy. Kinda fucked up in the head, I have been numb the entire time but also kinda happy that it is over. There was nothing to salvage at all which disappoints me often. I kept asking questions on what they wanted but I never got an answer..so I did something I never did before which was break it off from my end. My ex broke up with me because he “didn’t want to date” anyone. We promised to stay on good terms, but the breakup was just super random. We haven’t spoken more than two sentences to each other, but the only thing that bothers me is that when we were together he still had a good relationship with his ex. I didn’t want to say anything and make it look like I was being overprotective and stuff, so I left it at that. A couple weeks have passed since that day and he still manages to walk to places with her laughing. I don’t know if this meant anything during our relationship, but if he lied to me about not wanting to date anyone, I do t get why he just wouldn’t tell me.

This honestly made me feel a little less of a a-hole now because I was the one of the one who broke up with them. My ex is a really nice person, but I couldn’t love them the way they loved me. So when I broke up with them were really hurt about it and I felt so bad. I really wish I could’ve just said ‘’no” to their confession, so they wouldn’t be in that situation and be hurt because of me. The reason why I didn’t say no was because I’m those type of people who find it very difficult to say no. I’m so glad they have moved on now though.

I had to breakup with my ex for reasons I had suppressed for months. It was really hard to do, and I was heartbroken for a long while. It’s been three months now and I still get overwhelmed with feelings of anger and confusion. I’ve done many of the things in this video that are signs of moving on, but I’m still working on it. Being the one to make the breakup happen isn’t always easy.
