You've helped me navigate many different channels of social interaction without making a fool of myself in this modern age. Never stop what you're doing---it's a vital and important part of living to speak in an efficient way to other human beings. God bless.
Truly, we live in the best age. Such invaluable wisdom. God works wonders in unconventional ways. Such is the guidance and advice I seek from the elders I know. Unfortunately, now-a-days, most of them are busy scrolling their social network. But the good Lord never forsakes his people. No prayer goes unheard. Thanks a million for this video. It will help shape us into even better humans.
Wow. I'm just beginning to work as a coach for communication and I feel quite humiliated after listening to your words. That was pretty deep. I definitely have to improve my communication skillls ;-) Very valuable information - well delivered, thank you so much! There's one thing I have to disagree with: The troll/psychopath distinction. This involves judging other people, which can be extremely problematic and harmful in many ways (I can go into detail here if anyone is interested). Also this judgement is completely unnecessary. If you have the impression that other people behave respectless, cross your boundaries or whatsoever, just take an appropriate action. Maybe some "troll" just had a bad day or he could be the victim of well done propaganda and firmly believes he's doing good. Labeling any other person as "evil" is not necessary here. Just remember the saying: What you think (or say) about others tells more about yourself then about them.
I think they are in a fairly logical order now, but really you have to keep them all in mind at all times. To start, just focus on one. Make it a habit. Then move on to the next.
People on omegle are sometimes very rude. I normally laugh, let them spout their intense hateful talk esp if they make it seem funny. But im wondering if I should skip them or set firm hard boundaries.
A VP at our org, who has since moved on, covered a 4 quadrant model of communicating the same topic depending on your audience. I cannot find any source, or name of the model. Any insight on this?
