I can't seem to find mine I have a 86 camaro that's been converted to carburetor it shifts smooth but just found out about the TC lockup switch but I don't see one on the camaro Not sure what it looks like and the repair manuals don't mention anything about it
This set up does not require an toggle switch to flip on and off manually when arriving to 4th gear? If so can that toggle switch be left on at all times or do you have to switch it off for example every time you get off the high way?
What are the signs of these part failings? Does the car not move? How can you tell when you need to change these parts? I have a th200-4R and the transmission seems like it’s not engaging it just rocks back and fourth but if I put it on jack stands it moves
I think when he replaced the 4th gear pressure switch with the new one. It now talks to the new solenoid that he installed and when it hit 4th magic happens.
Hey buddy good video I got a question for you how can I get ahold of you I know this is about a year old so if you can let me know bro thank you thank you
I have a 700r4 I bought from Jegs that requires lock-up. I’m replacing 229 and 3 speed in my el Camino with 350 and 700r4. This will apply the same? The lock up will automatically engage/disengage without a manual switch?
You need to remove a plate from your converter if you’re gonna run without lockup. Otherwise it will overheat in 4th. Your mileage won’t be as good though at highway speed.
