Need this torque converter on my phatmoto. N then get a rear drive belt. No more chains or centrifuge clutch to mess with.

Hell yeah man, I never got a notification but I’m glad I got to see it before too long, glad to see it’s coming along good EDIT: you put the belt on backwards, the angled side of the belt needs to be against the angled side of the front pulley, NOT the flat side, other than that it was a great video

Kind of a trick motor to get on a bike I have the same motor almost done with it too just need a throttle cable but I made my own mounts and torque converter but yours looks good man

Hey Jacob, nice video, and nice upgrades, the bike is much improved from when you first put it together. I just want to offer some very constructive criticism. Building a bike starts with the frame, which is the foundation. Like a house you never build on a weak foundation. You really need to fabricate and address mounting your engine in a proper and mechanically sound way. Go ahead and mock up your mounts so you have alignment fit proper and engineer in the ability to move engine fore and aft to facillitate chain tension etc. I don't know if the frame is steel or aluminum, if alum. you'll need to take it to a welder who is highly profecient in Tig welding. If steel a competent welder will do. Really do yourself a favor and mount the engine the way it should be solid, with no weak points. Think about it. Keep up the good work and keep putting out videos. Thanks.

The key on the spline and inner pully, is it enough protruding after you put the sleeve to engage into the engine shaft? I just got my 30 series yesterday. Gonna put it on a honda gx100. Needs same shaft adapter or sleeve 5/8 to 3/4 and im worried the key will not seat very far into the grove on the shaft. Maybe i should run a pin through the sleeve and shaft? Idk. How is it working out for you?

nice what is the torgue converter name? And what do you do with the tube coming out of the OHV? Already have the adapter also

I plan on going with a rebuilt centrifugal clutch and a 60 tooth sprocket because its a 20 inch tire You need the biggest sprocket you can get which 60 tooth go for about 30 dollars so not that bad Edit prepare to suffer getting the gas tank to stay on lol I have personal experience it took me forever to find a good way to keep it on

The slanted part of the belt faces away from the engine the driver pully plate with the keyway is flat so the flat end of the belt needs to face the engine

You definitely have to Red loctite those bolts on that adapter I put one on a fat tire bike those bolts came loose right away

those cnc mounts are ass i dont recomened to use them they screw up rims and spokes especially if your chain might happen to pop
