Thank you so much for this! I restarted my iPad and it didn’t work but then I unpaired it and tapped “forget this device” and it paired again and now it works! This is a life saver 😭😭😭😭
The way I fixed this was just getting a broken charger that electrocuted you if you touched it, and what I did is to put the charger and put it next to the apple pencil for like 2 minutes and somehow it managed to electrocute it enough to barely get to 0% which is started to charge
Me i have the 0% problem cuz i didn’t use the whole ipad for a year i got ipad pro 2020 with pencil 1 and 2 but they both dead need help guys i tried to charge them with everything and they’re new by the way but nothing works
doesnt work. My pen i just unpacked starts charging shows the icon of 0 charged battery, then flicks to 14% battery, then back to 0 again then 26% and when you plugi t out doesnt work. and says its notconnected. If I forget the device it never shows up again. GG
@@nicemcqueen do not use the high power charger! You will kill your pencil! I know what happens to you. The battery meter goes blank! 😂 I have an easy solution. I use my laptop usb port. Plug the usb to lightning cable in laptop and charge your pencil with it. It will charge very quickly.
@@nicemcqueen and buy "non magnetic apple pencil lightning adapter by techmate" It is a small adapter that looks just like the useless magnetic cap on your pencil. But there's a small slit on top and you just insert the lightning plug in and you can charge it. But since it is non magnetic, you need to tape it down on the pencil metal area after you have managed to FLUSH fit the cap and tested that it is working. The cap is a bit tricky to fit but it fit perfectly tight once you get it right.
