Musonius Rufus, who was a Stoic philosopher from 1st century CE, had said “in too many circumstances, we do not deal with our affairs in accordance with correct assumptions, but rather we follow thoughtless habits.”
So, Musonius Rufus thinks that most of the time, we follow an autopilot mode, which is based on our “thoughtless habits”, and once we are able to develop good habits, our this autopilot mode will take us on the path of success and happiness.
