I slept wrong, so my neck and shoulder are knotted and messed up. I also worked a 12 hour day and I am extremely tight and in pain. I did every stretch in the video and I feel exponentially better now, I will be doing these tomorrow, and hopefully every day as well thank you so much for making this! Subscribed, and will definitely will be checking out more of your content!
I love that you showed us the “moves” but I wish you could film one that was in real time, giving us a little more time to do each stretch together! Thank you for being an amazing teacher! Bravo
Very good video. Be very careful if recovering from an injury though. I was recovering well from a leg strain. I was doing glute exercise , on my back on the floor, pulled back my knee twords the opposite shoulder. No pain at all but I had strained something under my knee that left me in pain for two days
I just found you and thank God! I appreciate your lessons that are helping me immensely, in the fight against the aging process! Been doing yoga over 40 years, so I feel good after your guided sessions. Thank you for popping up in my life you’re just what I needed!
I just want to say a big THANK YOU! I was having neck pain most of my adult life (I’m 28 now) and I just thought it was normal. I came across your video of strengthening your neck, and upper back, and I now live pain free! I cannot express how thankful I am! I am feeling great, and living my life to the fullest. I never knew how not normal my neck pain was until it disappeared. Thank you for your knowledge and sharing it with us. It literally changes lives. Thank you! God bless you!
Been dealing with knee pain for a few months and finally addressed it at chiropractor. Got an adjustment on my hips and been going through your hip and knee stretching content and am seeing great results. Thank you for creating this content. It’s been a great help to addressing my knee discomfort and getting me back on the basketball court. Thanks 🙏
Awesome, thank you for sharing. I miss having group training classes in high school and in the military that included stretching exercises. Thanks for sharing this here!

im a dancer and i cant do the splits. i want to get more flexible to improve my choreo. i have been doing a straddle stretch with my forearm touching the ground every day, but i am trying to look for more stretches. i am going to try to do these every day to improve my flexibility and maybe i will check in in a month or so and update you on my flexibility improvement!
Thank you I have been dying lately of frozen shoulder in later stages. Your videos have been life saving. Short easy to follow movements that WORK thank you!
This is exactly what I needed this. Just got back from a transatlantic flight (11hours total + 3 airports) with two hours of driving to get to the airport. I have been trying to recoup all week and your video popped up on my feed at just the right time. Thank you. I thought your stretches were unique, well explained and within my range. I can already feel the relief. One minor issue. Your sound is echoing. It is the only thing that makes the video lacking. Very minor. I am subscribing. Thanks.
I was getting pain through my upper gluts (below my hipps) through the night and I started your eight minute stretch sequence about three months ago and the improvement has been fantastastic! Thank you so much Peter
Would you be able to do a video on wrist stretches and strengthening? My wrists hurt any time I have my hands “palms down” on the ground for exercising. I have to make fists instead (or do some other variation) in order to complete the exercise. Even wall push-ups are painful on the wrists.
@@toneandtighten welcome! Has anyone ever told you you look like a young Jason Priestley? Also the soap star Cameron (not sure of last name.) so handsome.
I am 40, work out regularly. I still think I am in my 20ies and do minimal stretches. I have started feeling all sorts of tightness in many different areas of my body. I did these eight recommended stretches for almost 80% of the reps, and I feel much better. I will do this at least 2-3 times a week, and I think it will make the body even better with flexibility and mobility. Thank you for the excellent video.👏
Just wondering if these are all good for people who have osteopenia, I was diagnosed earlier this year. I want to improve my mobility and strength. Thanks, have subscribed.
I have lost count of the number of times your Website has helped me. Thank you ! Latest was Hip pain. Worked great as usual. Calves, Ankles, and Feet Would be a very helpful Video.
Super brother I am also physio in india I am fully inspired from your work the way you explain and speak demo exercise wonderful and learning from you and apply in my work for my patients also good results 🙏🙏🙏
Love these as I practice many with yoga. Some are new variations and I found out I was doing one wrong! Thanks Jared for this wonderful channel as your exercises are so helpful and you really have a great way of engaging with viewers (: Keep up the great work!
Thank you so much sir, for your generosity in sharing your knowledge. You cannot imagine how many lives you are touching. For the past 2 years, slowly all these problems started creeping in. I was looking for solutions every where but nothing brought relief. Things were only worsening. These stretches made me feel sooo good even in its first try. Thank you so much again. God bless / Malaysia.
This is really brilliant! For 2 reasons, this guy explains and understands how exercise actually works. He explains the process of how the body makes “adaptations” when it is stressed and it’s these adaptations that we are after. In a way it’s counter intuitive. For example would you buy a high mileage car or a low mileage one that’s not been used much or driven hard. Well the answer is obvious. But would you choose a high mileage husband/wife who has done loads of activity or a low mileage one who has rested, not exerted in any way etc. Oh I’m in pain, my joints are stiff, I need to take more pain killers and take more rest. Appropriate exercise will create new tissue and modify existing tissue that will hurt less. Then the other reason why this is so good is because this guy as examined “modern life” activity, the body modifies to this regime and along with that comes pain and suffering. This is because over millions of years of evolution the body has evolved into a structure that is meant to bend and reach in a vast range of directions and when this vast range of directions does not happen the body starts seizing up, toxins build up, bone, tendons and ligaments weaken with the result that the natural cycle of waste removal within all the tissues compromises and then pain. So this guy has created stretches to offset these things, plain and simple, not a collection of bits and pieces from the world of yoga/pilates/tai chi etc and thrown together with no clear aim
Thank you so much for this 🙌🏼💪🏽 that helped a lot!! I went to gym tonight, and never really know what stretches to do i did a couple but these were much better 💪🏽💪🏽
Oh thank you so much! It's been a struggle to figure that out in a very echoey gym! This is my transmitter/receiver: amzn.to/3fvXFus (except mine is black) and then I bought a lavalier microphone that clips to my shirt. Hope that helps you out and good luck to you daughter!
I have almost zero flexibility, with a straight back I can't even touch my knees, but I want to improve and generally get better to help with the various back issues. Is this the best program or do you have another you recommend. Assume I am a total stretching Noob :) Thanks for your videos. I find them easy to understand and you communicate clearly.
Hello, stretching exercises are really great for the body☀. I increased my height by 4 inches in 4 months and this result is truly incredible for me. During this period, I used Shiydf and did regular stretching exercises every week. I hope everyone achieves their dreams!
Helpful stuff. I get really tight shoulder muscles, especially on the right side of the neck down to the top of the right shoulder (rugby and biking injuries). Is there a specific, targetted excercise you would recommend? Thanks from the UK.
I just wish you would have done the whole thing with counting the time and repetitions so I could have done in while watching instead of either pausing a bunch of time to execute or try to remember it all from the get go.
Sir i had my medial miniscus surgery of posterior horn of bucket handle tear of 30% portion has been removed so is it safe or I'm gonna struggle in future?
Hey. Thanks for this. I am going to try it with my son, but the double chin stretch gives me no feeling where you indicated I should on the back of my head? What am I doing wrong?
@@toneandtighten yes , ever since ms came to my life , My world changed with the falls, foot drop, walking different. BUT UR VIDEOS I C A DIFFERENCE. NOW I CAN DO WIDER STEPS I CAN WALK BETTER
Do you offer any neck stretches other than ones that involve pressure on the neck with a towel? I've had whiplash before, get ccasional vertigo, and am hesitant to do any exercise that adds neck pressure, so I'll pass on that part. The other stretches are great though.
Great program. Thank you! Any information on rest between sets? Can you do the other side directly after, e.g. right/left and the use that as rest time for right? Or best to do right first all sets, then left all sets?
