Man it seems like those frames should be built heavier than that! Wonder if anyone has ever stripped one down like this and cut 1/4" plate to weld into the channel from front to back lol. It would definitely cross my mind if I stripped one down that much

I don't think boxing the frame is necessary. They do flex a lot more than people think. The guys at OffRoad Design wheel these square body trucks pretty hard. There are a few weak points, but I have addressed them all.

It doesn't seem like offroad design makes this kit for 1972 and down.

I see they say 73-91 but I swear these are the same ones on my 70 chevy truck. I would call them and ask. They are really nice people.

Good to know. I'm building my 72 from the frame and I want to add these heavy duty shackle hangers. I'm planning on getting the 400 from blueprint as well. I happened to come across your videos by doin a search on the blueprint 400
