2. Nestle Quik (I would've bought the 45. Quik Bunny was truly the voice of a generation)

6. Kenner's Super Powers Collection (I remember these action figures still being on the shelves of Kay Bee circa 1987/88 when I was very little)

That Bubble Yum commercial...I'd forgotten it existed! I used to love it...equal parts The Cars and Thomas Dolby! Oh, and I want his jacket. Thanks for posting it!

the animation in the Bubble Yum ad is amazing great jingles w/ Super Golden Crisp & Popsicle was the voice of the bumpers Casey Kasem? sounded like it my brother still has the whole vintage collection of He-Man figures

I was working at McDonalds when the ET posters came out. I remember having to roll them up and rubber-band them.... oh the memories.

@Fairia So true, you hardly ever see commercials for children cereal or fruit juice. I can't remember the last time I saw a Kool-Aid or a Ronald McDonald Commercial. I was shocked the other day when I saw a Push Pop commercial on tv.

Wow; I have absolutely no memory of Pink Panther and Sons! Then again, in 1984-85 I was getting to the age where I was less interested in those types of shows. Now I enjoy watching the classic cartoons of my youth. MeTV was showing the original Pink Panther cartoons in their Saturday morning block for a while, but I think they lost the rights to that series. 2:58--I love the Cheerios commercial with Peanuts characters. 4:27--Speaking of Cheerios, Honey Nut Cheerios were the first flavored Cheerios that I remember, and this jingle is a classic. I believe they contained actual chunks of almond back then, and it was later replaced with "natural almond flavoring" due to some people having nut allergies. 5:26--This was called "Super Sugar Crisp" when I was a kid, and I think it was just "Sugar Crisp" before that.

I'm guessing the Cheerios spot with the Peanuts gang was probably produced around the time the Flashbeagle special was released

Lol I think it's ironic. When I was a kid in the 80s I remember companies replacing the word "sugar" like Sugar Crisp and Sugar Smacks became Golden Crisp and Honey Smacks because they believed sugar was bad. Now after 30yrs later they're saying high fructose corn syrup is bad and should just eat regular sugar!

HFCS is not markedly worse for you than sugar. The biggest problem is that it's in almost everything these days.

80s Commercials -- THE MUSICAL! Gotta love when they put real efforts into ads. Albeit cheesy! I would have loved to have that "Bones" case for all my He-Man figures. Useful indeed.
