These commercials aired on NBC on July 30th, 1987
1. "Family Ties" Commercial Bumper
2. TV Spot for "The Living Daylights" (Timothy Dalton was an awesome James Bond...I wish he'd made more than two 007 films)
3. Irish Spring
4. Kentucky Fried Chicken (With Foghorn Leghorn)
5. Promo for "Classic Concentration" (I absolutely loved watching this game show as a kid and we also had the computer game for DOS: • Classic Concentration ... )
6. Promo for "L.A. Law"
7. Wendy's
8. Band-Aid Clear Bandages
9. Act Fluoride Rinse
10. Crunch & Munch (This is a rewrite of "Hip To Be Square" By Huey Lewis & The News)
11. "Family Ties" End Credits

13. NBC News Digest
a. Cargo Plane Crash in Mexico City
b. President Reagan to have cancerous skin removed from nose
14. NBC Primetime Promo (With John Larroquette)
15. Universal Studios Hollywood (RIP to the King Kong Encounter portion of the studio tram tour, which was destroyed in a backlot fire in 2008. The Miami Vice stunt show was later replaced by the Waterworld Stunt Show in 1995, which is STILL there after 23 years for some reason)
16. TV Spot for "The Lost Boys" (One of my favorite 80's movies, and it was also filmed in my hometown of Santa Cruz! I think they should install a bronze statue of epic sax man near the Boardwalk!)
17. NBC Primetime Promo (With Betty White)
18. Bartles & Jaymes

20. "Cheers" Commercial Bumper

Wow! It was in the heat of Summer! The blue Angels were practicing for Seafair as my older sis listened to the Erasure Wonderland album on repeat. Blessed days of memory.

The announcer at 4:30 sounds like Peter Cullen doing his Optimus Prime voice.

Herman Munster going after the bad guys? This should have been a series! I'M FOLLOWING YOU I remember the Classic Concentration NES game, based on the PC game. It was a great show to watch before The Price Is Right.

The ending of "Jake M.O." Fred Gwynne stumps over and over again causing ceiling tiles fall on the bad guy.

Man I remember Universal of that time. Went there in 1988. King Kong is still burned into my 8 year old mind.

Timothy Dalton was actually pretty good, but I still say Roger Moore is my favorite Bond (RIP) Oh! Can’t forget the Lost Boy’s! The movie and the soundtrack was one of the highlights of 87 for me.

As a child the:" this is drugs" PSA was very confusing for me. I thought cast iron skillets, butter and fried eggs combination was addictive. LOL

The Living Daylights-preferred Licence To Kill over this Irish Spring-ad is a tribute to the classic "The Gods Must Be Crazy" L.A Law-wonder if there were any wins for the show in those categories Family Ties-Sit Ubu Sit..good dog. *bark* Jake's M.O-why wasnt this picked up..looks like it wouldve been a good series NBC- Primetime-narration by Peter"Optimus Prime" Cullen The Lost Boys-loved that last line:"One thing about living in Santa Carla i never could stomach..all the damn vampires!"

TTrigg I saw Jake’s M.O. It was pretty good. Maybe the competition for new series was just way too competitive.

oh man I do remember the crunch and munch jingle... may have had it once or twice. also I do remember hearing The Lost Boys being filmed in Santa Cruz... went there for my graduation and got to visit the boardwalk (at the time they had Galaxian 3: Attack of the Zolgear, probably the most epic arcade game I'd ever seen up to that point!!)

The Neptune's Kingdom/Casino Arcade area adjacent to the Boardwalk is still a great place to play arcade games, there's still a lot of old school stuff there. And a fair amount of pinball machines too.

I must say for the record, there is no better way to have a great logo for a television production company than to have a picture of a black dog holding a blue frisbee in its mouth.

apparently in the comics the sax guy is a vampire hunter named believer and the reason he's oiled up is cause he's covered in holy water

In the Irish Spring Soap commercial, I find it very funny how in the tribe's native language "Cowabunga" translates to "Fresh Spring Fragrance". I wonder if Bart Simpson or the Teenage Mutant Nina Turtles were really talking about that when they said Cowabunga.

80sCommercialVault. It's been so long, I got the show order mixed up. I thought Cosby was between Family Ties and Cheers. Thursday was my favorite night on tv in the late 80s.
