Every time I watch these old commercials from the early 80's I wish I could transport myself back to the floor of my childhood home and watch these again from that time. I miss those times so much and would love to relive some of those memories like racing home from school to play Atari or being so excited that we had just gotten cable in '81 and had all these new channels to explore.

‘Last American Virgin’ came out around the same time ‘Porky’s’ did. Two of the best 80s teen comedies.

"The Underground Man" aired Friday, 8/27/82, so these aired in late August 1982.

That commercial for that Soldier movie is the textbook definition of a trailer giving away the best moments. I haven't even seen the movie, but I can just tell.

I commented on the last video that both trailers in that one did indeed give away every good part of that movie. The car jump and the ski shootout, for sure!

The ad for "Highland's Electronic Thing" had me do a full belly laugh when they got zapped in the face. The vintage electronics were awesome. I also can't believe it was $300 dollars for a vcr. Wow. That was a lot of money back then.

I miss Meijer. They're the best of the superstores (and the first), and Holly Farms chicken was always so good. I miss home. I didn't realize that Farrah Fawcett shampoo and conditioner was around for so long. Crazy. I have strong memories of those art sales, I think they had an American Art Sale every other month.

This ad for The Soldier showed even more than the last two did on the last video. You don't need to see the movie now. I would still recommend it. Soundtrack by Tangerine Dream!

Love the Namath/Farrah commerical because Joe is definitely not acting when he stares at her like a perv. At one point it even looks like he almost forgot to say his line 😂

Im pretty sure that the Toyota spokesman is the same guy that played Ronald McDonald. His name is Squire Fridell.

I guess the horror-themed "Electronic Thing" must have been a common electronics promotion theme during the 1980s (having uploaded a similarly-themed spot from 1988 for Circuit City)

Olympia Beer-The slogan i believe was"It's the water." what about the water i wonder.. The Soldier-shocked they havent approached Michael Bay to do a remake of this Farrah Fawcett Shampoo-Farrah and Broadway Joe looked like they enjoyed themselves making this ad Kung Fu-That was cold..Caine shouldve used that guitar as a club Crush-couldnt they have just bought two of them.?
