I'm not a Ford guy by any means, but I'd have this car in a heartbeat.

that might be the most ideal power/torque curve for a daily/track car in history.

That's one amazing build, great tribute video to such an awesome car and build. I think the GT350R should go down in history as perhaps one of the best Fords ever built. Revolutionary (for a domestic V8) speaking of the engine.

What tires are you running on that beast? I assume those runs are with the traction control on? My standard GT (91 Performance tune) spins the hell out of the 275s if I hit 2nd too hard.

The sound starting 3.30, near the end of the video - is heavenly... I have not been too impressed with the tinny sound of the exhausts on the GT350... in the 4K - 5K range... but when that engine is in its element (6, 7, 8K)...its magic! It would take me a long time to get used to forcing my foot to stay in the accelerator at 7 or 8K. too many years of waiting for the rods to come out of the side of the block when holding it above 6K - 7K - I'd have to learn a whole new way of "seat - of - the - pants" tachometer shifting. Damn, that is a sweet, sweet engine!!!!!!

This is a hell of a car

You mentioned that it still drives the same way on the track. Understandably, as a calibration engineer, I understand that you are referring to idling/ part throttle/ WOT drive-ability. Can you please talk about what you have done to make this kit sustainable on the track (i.e it doesn't start pulling huge amounts of timing after 3 laps) with reference to heat management / soak? That is the C7 Z06's worst nightmare its horrid on the track without an aftermarket oil cooler. I can't see this being any better without additional cooling.

How durable do ya'll think the GT-350's engine is? I'd imagine the crankcase and overhead camshaft assemblies take a lot of stress. Also did you guys redo the cylinder sleeves or did the new pistons do the trick?
