It only gets bigger with speed. It's not your average turbo car where it hits you in the back at 5k. The torque was much needed in this platform

Great to the point video. The sound was amazing. The difference will be staggering on a road course. A 2 1/2min course would show a drastic difference between the two. I’ll bet the NA 350 would get lapped within five to seven laps. Oh ya, did I mention the sound is amazing?

Steve Lynch the point of these test is not who is a better driver, so try to have it car vs car ( also one of the reasons they switch cars) The point of it is figuring out whether putting in a super charger is worth it and what do you expect to see.

Adding an extra 300+ bhp with very little weight gain I was expecting a much bigger gap. It jumps a lead but the stock does a really good job at keeping the gap small. Last race only looked more dramatic cos the guy in the glasses jumped early.

For those of you saying that you expected a bigger difference. As the horsepower goes up, you see less time shaving. This is showcased by drag times. Where a vehicle with 600 hp can be a 11 sec car, you can see a 1000 hp 10 sec car.

The point isn't power, sure you can apply upgrades for 10k that would be much faster, but it will effect the life of the car by alot , this is an upgrade you can daily drive with so in the long run its cheap, plus the gap is actually huge, take them both on a track and the supercharged will be a few busses ahead

What I learned from this video is a stock GT350R is about 0.75 seconds faster from 50-100 mph in third gear than a stock 2001 Corvette Z06. I just happened to have a third gear pull of my Z06 in my phone lol

For all the people saying “I thought the gap would be bigger” the stock GT350R is 526/429 hp/tq...which means it’s no slouch. If you wanted bigger gaps you should’ve looked for an ecoboost 2.3 4cyl vs Hennessy supercharged GT350R

general rule of thumb is a super charger running a moderate 7 to 8 lb boost will generate just under 1/2 the original horsepower of the engine. The stock gt-350 would have 5.2 -liter V8 526 HP the gt350 with the super charger would be pushing about 700 to 720 hp atfw
