Zane Nourse Lol, glad it's not a pile of ashes! I always use eBay first because they have a lot of shops across the nation which sell on there and you'll usually find the best price. JHPUSA I use a lot, but they don't always have the best prices so I'll shop elsewhere. PasswordJDM also I like too. Other than that I'll just Google the part I'm looking for and find a shop that has the best prices.

Mine was packaged well. You should mention to the seller if he can add that special touch to make sure it survives. I'm sure he could add a little extra bubble wrap to make sure it doesn't get damaged.

very true the only issue is in Iowa, finding a worthy EF hatch car/shell is hard to come by. It took me a solid 4 months to find a solid car to start my DA9 build, I was looking hard for EF's and DA's. I was lucky to find one in south Missouri. Drove down in my Ridgline and picked that sucker up. Totally worth the wait. Someday I'll find myself a nice EF to play with too. Keep the videos up.

I bought an ED6 brand new in 1991. Never wanted to sell it, but it got stolen. Long story short, this car has RUINED me for any another. If I crashed my current one, I would look for another, no matter how hard it might be.

I found a super clean 89 Si hatch with 140,000 original miles and not modified. I'm thinking about getting it before someone else finds it.

Mike Smith damn you don't miss any details! Yes, I used double sided tape, not for the adhesive quality, but for the vibrational feature. I only peeled off one side of the tape to stick to the wing, I didn't want it sticking to the hatch.

Awesome! You don't need the plugs, I just did it for my own convenience. You can wire them straight to the Ecu if you choose.

Forgot to add: I love seeing shots of this car, while it roams around on the street. Seeing the machines at the track, or at a car show, is one thing, but there is something that is simply beautiful, about see it, "alive," in its natural environment.

Agreed, I'd love to make more "feature" kind of videos for my cars and plan to do so this summer. This wing deletes the 3rd brake light. I tucked the plug into the hole on the hatch where the wiring comes through originally. I got the plate off an ebay seller who personalizes them however you want. Mine says "1991 ED7" on the bottom of it and "NARU" on top. That's a team name a few close friends of mine have had for over 10 years and it just sticks around.

+Armando Ramirez all the time!! I will use both screws to help pull the lens out. It usually works, after removing them push them back in and hold them at an angle to grab the lens and pull on the screws.

I don't remember the thread pitch sorry! I took the bolts it came with and went to Lowe's and found a couple that were a little longer. They have all those fittings so you can find the exact thread sizing. I also added the washers and lock nuts just to be more secure.

Boosted Fool The wiper motor is worn out a little where it connects to the arm, so it gives you a lot of play in the arm now. You could try to remove it and see if the part might be something that could be replaced with a washer or nut.

Wagn _Luv Lol, cool the replying is tricky as first but it makes it easier for me to respond, sometimes some comments slip through and I don't get to them quick. I use a Panasonic Lumix G7 mainly now. I used to use a GoPro 3+ Black but only use that St the track now normally.

All of the J's replica wings do not mount like stock, they mount over the oem wing and mount with however you choose to mount (rivets, double side tape, nuts & bolts). An Osaka wing for 150 will be tough to find. I don't even think a lot of people have those wings since they are $400 if I remember correctly. Are you not a fan of this wing? This is my favorite wing I've found so far.

Paulo Duque I believe all Si's came with them, but may have been a dealer option back then. It's rare to find them on the hatches now, people usually always scoop them up real quick.

Bernie Reyes yes, you can extend the 3 wires. The other components you can run the vacuum lines together and get rid of that extra part of the map sensor.

So just run the two lines to the same nipple in the throttle body

Because I was looking at the new gt brake pads from autozone and I put the 1.6l so the si and it said it fit but then I put the 1.5l and it said it didn't fit lol 😂 idk

Kaden Christensen I have 2 of them and they both fit perfect! The J's Racing replica which is a DIY job seems to sometimes have a poor fit. Same with the wagon one. My friend has one and he said his was way off!
