Quality question ! Ask with energy , opened end question . Asking with why ,where and who ! playful questions . Story question connection to something watching or listening to . Ask passion question , like what has you excited right now . Question about his family ? Ask about his childhood ? Challenge him with fun . Ask him about his vision , what would you like to happen for years to come. Ask him about past relationships , when safe to know truth . You can make it a good thing. What did you learn from Your passed . And never ask in fear .

Hey Mat! The lighting is doing wonders bringing out the color of your eyes!! And I agree that emotional connection is derived from wanting to get to know about him and his life and how he operates. Notice how he has his quirks and dislikes and likes. And find what all he is desiring for a successful life. A relationship isn't purely based on sex. Intimacy is much deeper than that. Humans ultimately crave authentic connection where you bond intellectually, emotionally, physically and mentally.
I think the key with any of these questions is to weave them in organically into the conversation, and it means you really have to be an active listener - to not only hear what he's saying, but note if something makes him smile or if he starts talking excitedly, etc. These are great types of questions, and don't require a lot of "courage" on the part of us ladies to ask - it can be playful and warm! Mat - did you say you were a lawyer? Ahh...that makes a lot of sense. Because a lawyer knows how to pick up on nuances in what a witness is saying, and can lead them with the questions to "spill the beans", so to speak (if that is the intent). I've seen some lawyers in action, and their strategies to get the truth to come out are intriguing! Your smile and your eyes are so gorgeous they're almost illegal...🧲

Hi Mat! I'm in a committed relationship with a wonderful man but when I ask him meaningful questions he NEVER asks it back regardless of if it's deep or surface level. He tends to wait for things to uncover themselves, so he doesn't ask anything about me not even "what's wrong?" when I'm visibly upset. He does value my opinion and asks for my input often when making decisions. Question: It would feel good for him to ask about me too, is there any way to activate his curiosity and reciprocity?
I am facing the same thing.. Well.. the man I m dating(no doubt is a wonderful guy) spent his life studying and supporting his family. So he is a little inexperienced and often misses out any hint I give him.. I ask him meaningful questions, he answers them. But he doesn't replicate the questions .. rather he asks the wrong sort of questions..

This seems a little trivial but I love to ask questions about their past fun experiences/memories. I’ve discovered that many guys don’t talk to their guy friends about every little aspect of their lives like myself and many girls I know do with our girl friends, and so they crave someone to listen. I ask with curiosity and express genuine interest, making comments and asking them to elaborate where necessary. Mat, this was great! People say I have big blue eyes but, WOW!!!, yours look incredible in this video especially! New lifestyle/diet is doing you good!
