The universe thing basically can be split into "everything's a possibility" so yeah, but I did want to mention that Notes is INDEED part of the Nasuverse, and is one of its essential building blocks. Notes is what introduced ideas like the Types and other weapons like the Black Barrel created by the Atlas Association, it's very much connected and important despite its small existence. There's also Tsuki no Sango and Room of the April Witch which Nasu has stated is part of the Nasuverse, but neither have any direct connections, so we don't know how.
Like half of the role of tsukihime has been left behind in the anime, it should have been adapted like fate, not only because the animation is mediocre to bad but also because it is impossible to cover everything in one mixed mega route like what they did to the tsukihime anime. Literally they left out 3 of the 5 routes in the anime and they didnt even revealed the mastermind behind everything

The best watch order in my opinion: Fate Stay Night (Studio Deen) FSN Unlimited Blade Works (Ufotable) FSN Heaven's Feel (Ufotable) Fate Zero (Ufotable) Alternatively, you could watch Fate Zero after UBW but before Heaven's Feel. If you're going to skip the Studio Deen adaption, don't start with Zero, since it spoils too much of the other routes to be a good starting point. I recommend not skipping the Studio Deen adaptation even if it is a bit of a slog, because it still contains valuable insight into the characters.
I started off watching fate's stay nights with zero, it really wasn't too bad in terms of spoilers. There was a couple with, well. You already know what they are but it didn't really ruin my enjoyment to watch in the other ones. Did it get rid of maybe two or three mysterious elements, sure. But it didn't ruin the experience or make it feel lesser in any way to me at least.
Don't watch the Deen UBW until you've watched the UFOTable version. It will spoil the twist which is better experienced in the UFOTable version. Of course, the Visual Novel is the best experience. But if the flesh is weak...
Nice video. Having finished FSN VN and Kara no Kyoukai movies, I wanted to delve more into the Fate series and then later onto other Nasu stuff and now I have a decent idea of what I should be watching/playing. What's the song playing at around 50, 51 minute marks. I figured that the first few are from Kara no Kyoukai but this, I don't think I haven't heard anywhere yet.
In this order. Mahoutsukai no yoru Kara no Kyoukai Tsukihime (The Remake) Fate/Stay Night [Relta Nua] Fate/Hollow ataraxia Fate/Zero And then you can watch whatever you want: Fate/Extra, Carnival Phantasm, Tsukihime Manga, Case Files, Melty Blood, etc.

6:47 I totally disagree with this: first off, the Fate route DOESN’T have a proper adaptation, the Deen anime is bad in many aspects starting from its visuals and going to the fact that it spoils some keypoints from HF and is also sometimes lore inaccurate such as when it completely changes the effect of Rule Breaker(Caster’s NP). Fate zero on the other hand is great BUT heavily spoils HF. Now, I also advice newcomers to read the VN first, but if they’re only interested in the anime then I’d suggest starting with Ufotable’s adaptation of Unlimited Bladeworks, then the Heaven’s Feel movie trilogy and lastly Fate Zero.

This is kind of an insane viewing order honestly lol. I guess it makes a weird kind of sense since your experiencing it in chronological anime order but I think it’s overly confusing. I think it’s also really silly to recommend the UBW film before the actual Ufotable anime?? Why experience the story in the worst way the first time?
It's not that the spin-offs contradict something, it's more that the go through some very specific details to not contradict something while doing a similar thing, like Rayshift not being time-travel but still giving the premise of time-travel
