Great video I need to remove my heater as it's leaking and try and service it so I'm guessing I can remove my heater from the side of the van xx

If you disconnect the water and gas, the whole unit should slide out from the outside.

Hi there could you tell me what sealant you used thanks

It's been so long, I can't remember. It's probably just the usual window sealant you use around skylights etc. as the surround doesn't heat up.

Hi, I have one of these partly installed on a van I recently bought. I'd like to get it up and running and juist trying to get my head around how it works. Can I ask, have you got a pump that feeds the cold water supply from a tank to the heater?

Jack, sorry for the late reply but I didn't get a notification. I have a pump giving a pressurised cold water supply already. so I also feed this to the heater. I blogged my complete build here but if there's anthing not explained just ask facebook.com/IvecoDailyCamper/

Tony Probably better not install under a window. Fumes can enter when windows open.

According to the Installation Instructions, the minimum height below an opening window is 300mm, minimum distance from a vertical corner is 600mm. Propane is heavier than air, and the only waste products from a complete combustion are carbon dioxide and water. If you are producing carbon monoxide you should already have a detector in your van for this.

It would have been nice if you had cleaned up your sawdust before fitting the unit into the cupboard.
