All kinds of things in this video A.I. was mentioned, every time I spell Al(your name) it looks like A.I. 😂... I love Howard also that you brought up AI and CAD software, and how it doesn't resonate with you for how the industry should be or what it means to you I should say...the fun is building and creating with your hands...I completely agree. The only reason I am an advocate for the new technologies that are available for the hobby is only for the new generation to help get them involved. I want to keep model railroading relevant, and fun. Part of the fun for me( and I'm a 40 year old grandfather of 2...so my first layout in 87 was a Lionel...even though I wanted the HO lol) is every time I sit down to build something new or to create a piece of a layout I seem to have to learn something. Whether it's mechanical power tools or geometry, I always have to learn something. And now we have static grass applicators, computer aided drafting, Magnorail, Bluetooth engine capabilities...and a myriad of other things that are tools that can be learned and used within our hobby for the new generation. Building structures by hand is still a hell of a lot of fun and I don't have any issues connecting with them in that capacity but I just feel wrong by telling them to ignore the other capabilities that are there for them in the hobby currently. Can you please help me find some middle ground where we have a proper understanding of what the hobby should be and where the hobby may one day go?

Thanks for the reply Mitch all we are saying is it's not for us but by no means are we advocating to ignore new technologies like CAD. We just talk about the way we do it. Remember we have said many times in many videos our way is not the only way to build or do something. It's just the way we do it
