A deeper look into the mysterious disappearance of Kris Kremers and Lisanne Froon 

I don't think you should do anymore. Your analysis is terrible. Like the water bottle cap. It's white. When you place white objects near other objects in bright light, the white tends to collect color bounce. Such as in photo 505 of the water bottle cap. It appears "pinkish" because the red on Kris's shirt is reflecting the bright sunlight bounce causing the bottle cap to turn from white to pink. Even her shirt does this with the white stripes. This is why you are terrible at photo analysis, you only see what you want to see, rather than ask questions and examine if those questions hold up for other parts of the photo.

9 people in total surrounding this case were murdered or died under strange circumstances. It was all a cover up. The girls came down from the trail and were last photographed in the hot springs, with at least three boys. Their remains were found in the area the guide owns a farm, by him. He knows exact that happened to them, and the other people in this case. I wish justice for these girls every day.

Right. Because once you have a water bottle in one picture, it MUST be in all pictures. She could just put it in the backpack because it was uncomfortable to carry around all the time. Then later she was thirsty and took it out again. By the way they had 2 water bottles. Switching the backpack is normal; backpacks are annoying. You switch every now and then. So many people continue zooming in on on low quality pictures and screenshots but none of this makes sense.

It’s not at all ‘weird’ that they both wore the backpack though. Seen as the backpack was discovered to contain BOTH the girls belongings, if they’re going to hike for hours on end, it’s completely normal for girls to take turns carrying it..

There was no accidents in this case. They could have easily walked back, and would have before dark, but they were obviously abducted. After the abduction during the day, the pictures were taken by one or more of the abductors. The bodies were dismembered and destroyed to silence the girls' eyewitness testimony of who abducted and raped them. There was no reason to kill them except to cover up their crime, and that's what they did. They left items around perhaps to make it look like an accident or something else. The taxi driver who dropped off the girls was apparently murdered later on. He evidently knew too much having known or seen the men who were in the taxi at that time, and who could have followed the girls. The tour guide had a hand in some of this because he just happened to know where body parts were. He was going to be their tour guide, but the girls canceled. He could have alerted gang members of the girls' plans of the hike. A woman on a previous hike with this guide said he was touching inappropriately and mentioned cutting off her legs for some reason or as a joke. He was in on the murders or knows who did it. The Netherlands should keep investigating and everyone familiar with this case. May God bring justice upon the monsters who did this sooner than later.

They hiked the trail and came back out and then met foul play. They took photos at the summit twice, once on the way in when it was sunny and once on the way back out a few hours later when it was cloudy. This explains the change in clouds and sun direction at the summit. I believe the Panamanian police renumbered the photos so it looks like they went into the trail and never came back out. Lisanne wore the backpack into the trail and Kris wore it on the way back out, but the police mixed up the photos so that's why you see photos of Lisanne wearing it and then a few minutes later Kris is wearing it and then a few minutes later Lisanne is wearing it again. Makes no sense unless somebody rearranged the order of the photos. This also explains why there is no 509 photo. When they were renaming them somebody couldn't count and forgot to renumber one of them as 509 so that's why there is no 509.

Sorry but it just mostly seems like you're grasping at straws... 🤔 The photos most certainly weren't "shopped"! Conspiracy theories won't solve this case... 🤦

I'm just not seeing it at all. I think this photoshopped theory is really tenuous, a proper straw grasping situation. I think most of the things you point out have reasonable explanations when you put yourself in their shoes. Nothing weird about moving a water bottle into a bag or taking pictures that don't have feet in when the focus is the scenery for example. You seem to suggest the "detail" and adding it all together makes the theory but to me that's just adding loads of speculative stuff together that convinces someone that wants to see the conspiracy. None of it is a smoking gun, I wouldn't even say it's a red flag. Maybe there are in other parts of the stories but I don't see the editing angle.

The water-bottle can be taken off - also it can be placed in the backpack.... Also they can switch the backpack so that one rests while the other is carrying the bag and vice versa....

Your red flags doesn't make sense. You say those photos at the summit is photoshopped because one side has blue sky and the other side of the photo show cloudy sky and yet you have a photo of Lisanne on the start of the hike at the bottom that shows the right side of sky is blue and left side is cloudy.. Just like how it was on the summit. It wasn't photoshopped it was just the way it was in those photos the way it was naturally. About the water bottle and the exchanging of the backpack.. it took them 2 hours to hike to the summit and that photo of Kris bending over under an overgrowth was taken past the summit (Yes they hiked past the summit where I believe they got lost and couldn't find their way back).. 2 hours is a long time and they can decide to switch the backpack and Kris can decide to attach a water bottle to her shorts later in the hike. As for the different water bottle.. We have no proof that they didn't bring several water bottles inside the backpack. They probably did bring a few bottles of water to that hike. It was a warm sunny day that morning when they decided to hike.. They would have brought more bottles of water. It was 1pm when they reached the summit. I can see them deciding it's too early to head back and let's hike on the other side for an hour or two more before heading back. The trail from the start to that summit is easy as it's been travelled so many times by tourists but the trail on the the other side is not well marked and from what I read it leads to different trails in the dense jungle. I believe they got lost and Kris got injured first then died then Lisanne carried on to try to save herself and find her way back and still lost.. got injured (her foot bones showed multiple fractures) and perished in the jungle. They were 2 girls too eager to have their adventures. They didn't need to hike there that day. They already hired a guide for the same hike next day - but they couldn't wait and made a fatal decision to go by themselves and to go beyond the summit and not make the return circuit for what that tourist hike was meant to be and what little clothing and items they had with them. Foolish decisions all around. They caused their own awful fate. As for the backpack and how it was found dry and packed orderly.. I believe the backpack and items inside were found by a tribe's person and brought back to their village and examined. Once they heard about the disappearance of these 2 girls, the same tribe's person placed all of the items and maybe the items were cleaned out of respect.. and placed at a location that guarantee it will be found. So your red flags are not red flags at all. Do more research.. You haven't proven anything with this video you made except that you're simple-minded.

Coming from the same town as both girls (Amersfoort), this case has always kinda haunted me. It probably also has to do with the fact that we have pictures of the fatal hike, up to half an hour or so before something happened to them. It gives me goosebumps when I think of it. The only thing I'm sure about, is that we don't know what exactly happened. Could be an accident, could be foul play. But even in case of the latter, I can't see why someone would go through all the trouble of photo shopping all these pictures. Placing yourself in the mind of the perpetrator, it is easy to figure out what your best option is when you have the backpack, and with it, the camera and phones in your possession: destroy all evidence. Make sure nobody ever finds it. Nobody in his right mind would delete a single supposed incriminating picture or edit pictures, then let the camera and phones be found to let everybody believe they were on the summit of the Pianista while they were not. This leaves a possible trail of evidence to you. It is so much safer and easier to just destroy all of it and leave everybody in the dark. The investigation was poor, police probably screwed up while removing the pictures from the devices, unintentionally messing with metadata. Some 'original' photo's, like the last one of Kris crossing the stream, have messed up exif data. I think this is due to amateurism, not on purpose. It just doesn't make any sense. As for some of the supposed red flags you come across, I've got a few insights for you: - The photo's do not all come from one camera, but also from Kris's iPhone. Maybe some are from Lisanne's Samsung as well, I'm not sure. That also explains the opposite location of Kris's black earring you mentioned in part 2. The selfie mode mirrors the picture. - The reflection is simply Kris's arm, not a selfie stick. The reflection in the glasses is distorted. Pretty obvious. - The 'SOS' night photo: Flashes tend to make black look like gray on photo's, just like in interior pictures of cars with black seats. They always end up gray in pictures. No red flag here. Whether the strap is of said backpack or not, it's definitely one of their night photo's. It's mentioned and described by Lisanne's parents in a local newspaper here in Amersfoort a few years back. On top of this, the 'SOS' night photo has already been found to contain pieces of the map you see at 12:47, the photo you named 'bracelets'. The blue icons in the map legend near Lisanne's left arm can be seen just to the right of the round mirror in the ‘SOS’ night photo. - The orange reflection is not by any means a red flag. Light dispersion, especially on rounded, reflective objects, on photographs is a complicated matter. People tend to see all kind of 'inconsistencies' in them. NASA knows all about it... - I think Kris has taken over the backpack for a second so she can make a few nice pictures of Lisanne without backpack and with loose hair. Just like I do myself for a nice picture on top of a mountain or tower. You put down bags, take of your hat, sunglasses etc. Or it might as well be Lisanne had a wet back by then and wanted to let it dry a bit. Just speculating here, nobody knows. But nothing to worry about either. - It was a dry day with clouds blocking the sun occasionally. Every photographer can tell good lighting on a subject can change abruptly by a cloud, causing diffused lighting conditions without sharp shadows. Exactly what happened during the photo session on the summit. Looking towards Boquete there was a blue sky, looking in the other direction is was mostly clouds. Somewhere to the right of the mountain in the background was the divding line between clear sky and clouds. It does not imply anything abnormal, those are pretty normal weather conditions, especially when there are mountains that act as obstacles for low hanging clouds. - No feet on the photo is seen as wrong or abnormal in the eyes of people who know the rules of photography. Normal people don’t care. As they never even used the zoom on the camera, I doubt any of the girls were very experienced photographers. They were just taking casual shots. Btw, the last few pictures of Kris show her feet. The night pictures are strange, we can only guess what the intentions were. But not understanding what they were trying here, as far as it was anything rational and understandable, does not make it 'red flags'. But... there is actually one picture I just can't place. And thats the picture of Kris's hair. It's in a mess with knots everywhere, but I have to agree it looks way to clean and dry for someone lost in a jungle for a week. But then again, it's a very bright flash picture. It may look very shiny because of the flash while in reality it was not that clean anymore.

They were experienced hikers?? I thought they weren’t, based on their clothes. A hiker would never wear shorts unless it was just a short trail. Even in the day it’s cool under the trees. It’d kill your knees climbing. I was always looking for thicker, more durable fabric not zero fabric. I had assumed they probably stayed too late, went off trail, and got lost because of inexperience.

Once again, terrible deduction. "No goodbye video." Here is the thing. If you believe strongly that you will be rescued, you don't create goodbye messages. Now Lisanne only had up to the 5th of April to do this on her phone. After that she couldn't use her phone to do it. If she didn't know Kris's PIN, she wouldn't be able to leave a message on her phone either. It is totally possible by the 5th of April they still felt strong enough to be rescued so no idea to leave a goodbye message was done. After that the options to leave one were gone. They could have used the camera but what exactly would you do with a camera to say goodbye?

I really worry about your nitpicking of small details. You think the bottle is photoshopped out of one photo, and then you think the bottle in two other photos the bottles are different. These inconsistencies can't all be true, so they are not mutually reinforcing in any way. They don't accumulate to increase the cause for suspicion in this case. Rather they should give pause for thought, that perhaps you're finding problems which aren't there.

If the girls were abducted that would explain the 14 hour gap between emergency calls

I'm Dutch, living in Germany, this case always captivated me, when I was a young girl their age my late husband our dogs and I travelled a lot, we got to Greece, Tyrkie, Italia, Marroko, Syria ❤ It was indiscribable so wonderful carefree😢 I'm so sorry for the girls, they never will have the chance to travel again and having expiriences I had, there is such a lot of "world" they should have been seen, growing up, finding their husband, having a family, becoming mothers, wifes, old ladys with a lot of great memorys 😢 Someone took this all, the perpetrator must be punished!!! The girls deserves justice! I had to buried my daughter because of sudden child death when she was six month old and it broke my heart for all time 😢 But I know what happened to my girl, I can go to my daughters grave where I know "she is" where she is lying, all of her, nothing is missing 😢 Their parents ain't got this, this must be so cruel, I feel so very sorry for them, maybe they have learnt to go on with it but they won't find peace at all, they had a few bones and a lot of mysteries. I really hope the murder(er) will be found some day, I hope the parents will get their answers and maybe the rests of their daughters, maybe they are buried somewhere after the crime someone/s did to them , the bones seemed to be placed, maybe their rests bones are still somewhere😢 But I don't believe 😔 But really hope for the parents.... I feel so sorry for their desperation they must have been feeled and their painful lost😢 Thanks so much for all the work to this documentation!

It’s not weird at all that they switched who was wearing the backpack because they were taking turns which would be very normal for 2 girls to do. I would definitely take turns with a friend. And the water bottle - once it was empty they just threw the empty bottle in the backpack - there was no need to keep the bottle out and wear it once it was empty. But who’s to know for sure. You could be right on. You do make some good detailed observations that many haven’t thought of. It’s just tough because we can’t know anything for sure. Sadly, there will always be unanswered questions about this case. But it’s worth talking about. It’s worth collaborating and trying to find answers. Thank you for your input. Blessings.

Two "strong, independent liberal wamen" from a Western country go to an other country, where people don't give a rat's ass about Western liberal woke values and then they go "on an adventure" in an area where local criminal gangs kill the natives and other civilians without hiring a guide who could have told them where NOT to go.... that was one deadly adventure.... that is the lesson of this story - Don't be too overconfident in a dangerous country as an inexperienced tourist.....

This disappearance was certainly not the result of an accident. If we assume that the girls were lost or suffered an accident, we get tied up in knots trying to figure out and/or explain all sorts of odd behavior, odd timelines, and odd discoveries. If we assume they were “kidnapped”, ALL the oddities and inconsistencies are explainable. The “mystery” evaporates. 1. The irregular 911 calls - the girls did not place any of those calls - Feliciano took their phones and put them in their backpack and then took their backpack to lighten their load while he lured them (or forced them) to his coffee farm - the calls themselves DO NOT prove that they were lost or that they made those calls 2 the lack of photos while they were “lost” - Feliciano took their camera and put it in their backpack and then took the backpack from the girls to make their load lighter while they hiked up to his farm - the girls were never actually lost - that is the only possible explanation - had Lisanne had her camera, she would have taken lots of photos of the territory they were in, regardless of whether they felt lost or not 3 the night photos - Feliciano took those photos 4 the clean jean shorts - Feliciano took Kris’s shorts off while she was still alive and later placed them where he was certain they would be found 5 Lisanne’s fractured foot - Feliciano broke it to prevent her from running away - he also TWISTED her foot off her leg after she died 6 the intact backpack - Feliciano had it the whole time, the backpack never touched water 7 the nicely preserved piece of skin found much later - Feliciano held it in a freezer and then placed it there, OR he kept Lisanne alive a long time after he took control of her 8 the photo of Kris’s hair - Feliciano took that photo 9 the failure by so many searchers (even the dogs) to locate the girls - the girls were never lost in the jungle; they were at Feliciano’s coffee farm the entire time 10 the neatly folded bras - Feliciano did that; just a bit of misdirection or a sign of remorse 11 their 9 a.m. appointment with Feliciano on April 2 - there was no such appointment - that false “appointment” was used as a pretext to create the strong impression that the girls were lost 12 the bleached bones - Feliciano did that to erase his DNA 13 the significant lack of body parts - Feliciano has the bodies 14 the significant lack of clothing other than the shorts and boots - Feliciano has the rest of the clothing and the missing boots 15 Feliciano’s search of the girls’ room on April 2 - Feliciano needed to make sure they had not left a note regarding his improper sexual advances somewhere among their notebooks or computer 16 Switching their phones off for long periods to conserve battery life - this is not a logical conclusion - people who are lost do their utmost to find help as soon as possible and whenever possible - Feliciano kept switching their phones off to prevent any possible call from outside coming through accidentally 17 why were the authorities convinced the girls were lost and suffered an accident? Beginning April 2, Feliciano controlled the narrative the entire time 18 Feliciano was never seriously considered a suspect - that would have been against the community’s self-interest; if the authorities had done their job properly, the damaging truth would have easily been revealed. Only TWO questions remain: (1) How did Feliciano get them to his coffee farm? Did they follow him voluntarily or did he take them by force? If it was by FORCE, he could have done it alone if he held one girl hostage with a knife (or gun) thereby forcing the other one to cooperate. If VOLUNTARILY, he might have enticed them with promises of good food and nice drinks, promising to return their backpack when they got to the farm. Recovery of their backpack would have given them a strong incentive to follow him. Up to that point, getting Feliciano to relinquish their backpack would almost have seemed like a game. Upon arriving at his farm, it would have been necessary for him to incapacitate them once they felt more at ease. How did he do this? (2) How long did he keep them alive? Did he rape them? Did he torture them? Did he take photos of anything he did with them? Does he have copies of all their photos?

Hi. I just watched another scenario they said. Kris and Lisan made a deal each other that when they are going Lisan takes a back, when they are coming back Kris takes a back. It means from the last photo of Kris on the stream they decided to return. And they returned back on the way they took a final photo with their thumbs and we can see the back is on Kris. They successfully coming back from the trip El Pianista. And when they reached to the village some one took them to the swimming and then they had done with their fate

I only JUST started watching this video so I haven’t heard much except the part about the dog. THANK YOU. I’m tired of hearing every video start with the dog came with them. That dog did not go with them. Dogs are all over the place yet also cling right to you. If it’s not your own dog you might not take pictures of it, but SOME part of the dog- it’s nose, it’s tail, it’s butt- something- would show up in at least some of the photos. You’d have to actively try to avoid getting the dog in a photo. I don’t know who started the “dog went with them” stuff but I have just always found it way too hard to believe.

I like your videos on this case. Thanks for putting so much effort in it! I've learned a lot of new facts, which is great. You make very good points and I agree that there are tons of red flags, that deserve further scrutiny. The photoshop theory, however, has always seemed very far fetched to me. Still, I find it very intriguing, which is why I've watched many videos on the topic, from people trying to point out retouching errors and visual elements in the images, that seemingly don't make sense. Personally, I'm not convinced. So far, nothing I've seen (of course I haven't seen everything) looks like somebody actually tampered with the images. They're simply bad pictures taken with an average camera by amateurs under rather difficult circumstances. Midday sun is probably the most challenging lighting there is, due to the strong contrasts. Dark areas usually come out too dark, while the light areas often explode into white. Shadows are very dominant and can create space for speculation. Also, it's often hard to determine, where the light source (sun) is exactly. Then we have to keep in mind, that these pictures have been duplicated, cropped, and compressed countless times. Except maybe for the Panamanian and Dutch authorities, nobody knows which version of the images they're actually looking at. Considering the poor quality and how far the image files have "traveled", all kind of things can happen to a digital photography. For instance, it's not unusual, that certain contours seem unnaturally harsh or that some reflections seem too bright and out of place. Often there are lots of artifacts and distortions, that just seem odd and are hard to explain. I'm not a professional photographer, but I've been using Photoshop professionally for about 20 years now. I've retouched many images (predominantly people), and I honestly don't see any photoshop work here, no matter how hard I look. If there actually was any, it's done really well-taking into consideration that the source material is low quality, which makes convincing retouching quite a challenge. Also, how would they've been able to accomplish it practically? They would have needed separate images both of the backgrounds and the girls. Granted, getting the backgrounds would've been relatively easy, if not without some effort. But images of the girls? How? Seems impossible to me. And then, there would be the big question, why? Why would anyone spend an immeasurable amount of resources and go through all this trouble, when they could have just gotten rid of the camera instead? I get, that certain people in and around Boquete obviously tried to establish some kind of narrative here, and I absolutely do believe in a cover-up. But photoshopping all these images seems like a considerable amount of unnecessary trouble to me. Besides, whoever is behind this, did they actually have a visual artist at their disposal, who was able to do this kind of work? Certainly not impossible. But very hard to imagine. I guess, that's why this case is so fascinating: nothing really makes sense :)

9:59 I don't see the selfie stick...I see the reflection of kris's arm holding the camera. A selfie stick would give you much more space, and you wouldn't hold it with your arm straight out in front of you. And the "orange thing" is just the lens & frame of Lisanne's sunglasses??? To say these pictures are photoshopped and they never went on the hike is absolutely ridiculous.

Interesting analysis. There was no dog. They definitely would have taken pics of the dog. You are so right about the angle of the sun on their faces and the clear and overcast sky. The taxi driver drowning stinks. The chances of that happening and there being no connection is just not right. Drowning someone is a great way to make a death look like an accident.

7:44 I've been interested in this haunting mystery for a year or more and in recreating the night photo myself to get an insight into it one detail I can confirm that a black backpack strap does appear gray as in the photo, not black, when lit by the camera flash at close range in darkness. The 'gray' strap in the photo is consistent with the narrow straps on the underside of the backpack that can be seen on some of the earlier hike photos. I'm also convinced that the round 'mirror' seen in the SOS photo is the shiny metal base of a Pringles snacks tube of the kind the girls are known to have had in their room and probably took on the hike in the backpack. On close inspection you can see the flattened-down tattered edge of the cardboard around the rim. If you unravel a Pringles tube and remove the base it looks exactly like this. This being so then if the girls were abducted and the night photos are staged then the perpetrator must also have gone to the trouble of doing this when there was no need to. Would they have bothered to do this?

On one hand, the photoshopping is a far reach, but on the other some things are actually disturbing wrong with these photos, like the coloring and texture and all. The glasses. The shirt anamoly. But in the ones with the clouds, if you look in the top right of the cloudy ones, you can see where the clouds are peaking through a blue sky so idk. Also...If you look closely at the "back of her head" it's not the back of her head. In the bottom left you can see her bra strap. Then towards the middle you can also see her TEETH, UPPER LIP, AND NOSTRILS.

Oh come on! A black strap caught on a flash photograph at night will look grey. Did you test this out?

No disrespect, but the dutch would have found evidence of photoshop if that was really done.

The Panamanian authorities were the first to examine the phones and camera. They made the "necessary" changes to clear anyone of them from wrong doing.

I'm a photo retoucher. Do you have any idea at all how skilled one has to be to 'Photoshop' such messy, fly-away hair realistically? If these images of the girls are really stripped in to those backgrounds, then somehow this tiny town in a third world country has someone with that degree of skill.

Somebody might have already mentioned this, but to me it looks like the orange-looking thing you see through the lens of Lisanne's sunglasses is a rock, which you can see behind them if you look real close. It appears orange through the glasses because it's "discolored" by the color of the lens. That's just what I see there...

Why would the attacker bother to photoshop those pictures instead of simply getting rid of the camera? Sounds far-fetched.

The dog story of the restaurant owner is real, but The dog did not follow the girls, that's why it does not appear in the photos, it followed the people (Feliciano) who were behind the girls.

I do not think it is a selfy-stick. I think it is Kris' arm, you can see the hand in Lisannes glasses, and you can see an ellbow in the middle and kind of arm like deformation, also it is very stretched. The orange thing is indeed interesting. I think your picture analysis is BS (both the bracelet and the water bottle). The summit analysis is quite interesting; esp. the weather change which will take some time, but also the lighting, seems like the sun wandered from east to west... How much time did they spend there?? I do not agree with the entire photoshop theory, because esp. in the early pictures the shadow of the fence posts is exacly aligned with the shadows on the faces.... At 28:01 the sun comes from the opposite side; it is the shiny, reflective thing,... I think you are going in a wrong direction... In 30:00 you see the boots....

In Kris's glasses you can distinctively see a slight bend, it is her arm. The bend is consistent with her positioning and it being a right arm, and you can also see her arm narrowing in size as it comes down to the thumb pressing the button on the phone. So it's not obviously a selfie stick. And even if it was, what would the problem be?

I think the tour guide did it. Look at his eyes in RU-vid video “Dutch reporter in Panama to interview tour giide F” his pupils wide open at one moment. That’s because his brain recall the bad memory and picture it at the back of his eyes. Look at the RU-vid video murder or accident ? from Peaked Interest. Look at 51:41 when a review about the tour guide is read. Only couples or Big group of men are positive. One woman alone was sexual attacked by him. And he told her to chop of her legs with his machete. And he has a preference for Northern European ladies. And look at a interview with him in video “Interview with guide F”. He walks a little bit away and makes a small bow. What if you where not the murderer? Then you stand next to her to support her. Showing your face in the camera. Nothing to hide. He did not! His brains again recalls the bad moments he did. Thats why his body makes a move that wasn’t necessary.

My question is if the perpetrators wanted to make it look like they died on the trail and animals scattered their bones then why have a clean cut foot still in its boots found. To me the foot was cut by a machete probably to keep Lisanne from running then discarded it. Animals wouldn't leave a foot in a boot with a clean cut!

You're right about how they're dressed and the gear they have. It looks as if they were prepared for a walk around town rather than a 1/2 day hike with altitude gain that would require additional layers of clothing. If Lisanne was an experienced hiker/backpacker why is she carrying something that looks like a commuter backpack? No hat to protect from high altitude sun? She didn't tell Kris that she should be wearing hiking socks to prevent blisters? Wondering if there is a narrative being created here because identifying the real perps would make someone else look bad.

This definitely could not be an accident considering different body parts were found scattered, clean-cut, and even random bones. Not to mention, one of the girl's bones was bleached. They were in different stages of decomposition, meaning they died at different times. My guess is they were captured and brought to a camp or some sort, which why their stuff was dry. Defo murder. And possibly a cover-up by either the local authorities or the gangs there. But from what you mentioned, I don't think the backpack being switched is an issue. They're wearing thin-looking tank tops, in the humidity, the material of the backpack would rub and maybe start to hurt so my guess is they switched. Either that or it got too heavy. What bugs me is why they have experience hiking but didn't think to bring two lighter bags instead of one heavy one.

This guy makes a lot of good observations. If the family hired ex special forces with jungle experience could have gave a deeper search of the jungle. They had a real search for Natalie Holloway girl.

Whoever photoshopped these images, in this small Panamanian jungle town, well enough to fool authorities, law enforcement, and sleuths around the world - really needs to consider moving to a more profitable part of the world and making bank with all of their skills!

Very good point about the feet not being in shot very often, as it's not easy to montage feet on to different ground and get the angle, foot distortion etc looking realistic. The one where the blonde girl's standing on the rock is probably not retouched as it would be extremely difficult to make her feet conform to the curvature of the rock she's standing on. On another topic - I'd always wondered why the later night flash image of the blonde hair looked so freshly washed and shiny too. After being in a humid, hot environment if should probably look flat, maybe a bit greasy and frizzy, and darker.

Very nice investigating!! One other thing I think is noteworthy is that if they went into the trail with the dog, then if everything was "okay", the dog would have stayed with them at least to where the last "normal" photo was taken, which was 15-20 minutes after the summit. This means that if the girls got injured or attacked in the woods at that spot or some point shortly after it, the dog would then have had to go ALLLLLLL the way back home on its own for hours. That doesn't make sense because how would it know where to go? And even if it did, it would most likely have been noticed by other hikers who would have seen the dog was abandoned. It's likely that someone would have done something to rescue the dog.

I think, considering the terrible tragedy discussed in the video, the use of cartoons and other footage of the same sort is inappropriate. The images don't look photoshoped to me. It is still possible, but so far I'm not convienced. The sky looks differently depending on the position of the Sun (blue if the sun is behind a photographer and white if closer to the object). The first thing to look at if image-altering is suspected is edges around the object that has been "photoshopped". Someone who botherered enough to get those ones right would take care of the background, easily.

From the original photos released there were at least 4 photos that showed their shoes. And only 2 photos where their feet were hidden by vegetation. But I don't find that alarming for the fact that that it is a jungle and the jungle don't have regular lawn and maintenance care. so I would assume that the natural vegetation would be quite high. And also who takes photos of the ground lol they are sight seeing. the main purpose of these photos would be the background and the upper frame imagery not the bottom. Not having enough feet photos isn't anything of significance.

If you were really interested in finding the truth you would recreate the image yourself for better understanding. If the image was recovered from the camera then it definitely was not a selfie stick, so that can be immediately ruled out.

I don’t know if anyone else said this already but that grey strap could be the little strap attached to the camera and it just got in that particular pic by accident.

I live on an island. Just want to say, it is completely normal to have clouds all over on the one side while the other side is bright and sunny. This happens all the time. About the bottle, the bag and all that, I think you just give too much thought to it. There's nothing strange. About the feet.. Well, I've realized when you take photos in such high beautiful places. You either sacrifice the feet in your photo or the beautiful landscape, sky and mountains. For me however it is a foul play case, so many deaths around this case, misleading, blurry information. Coincidencee..So unfortunate for these young girls.

I agree with you on many issues but I totally disagree with you, that it is odd that they shift carrying the backpack. This is totally normal for girls so shift having the 'weight' sometimes and sometimes the other one takes over.

I'm glad you skipped the main storyline since there are 657 videos of that already. I've been following this for about a year and watched just about everything on it including the travel channel video. Research the phone call record and let us know what you find. I found it strange that the 1st 911 call was an hour before dark then another 15 minutes later then nothing until the next morning. Also the call where they actually get through for a split second then turn the phone off????? WTF??? 911 may have called back but they decide to power off??

Apart from the fact that some things do seem to look fishy, everyone always assumes they did not meet anyone else along the trip. But why? Other hikers, normal locals... Who took pictures for the girls. The supposed trail was or is popular with hikers, so... Anyway, the idea that everything was photoshopped doesn't realy convince me.

Around dusk? The first emergency call was at 4:36 p.m. 3 and a 1/2 hours after they reached the summit and a hour after they should have returned to the trail beginning. After wondering in what they thought was the right direction for over 3 hours they realise there's no trail head in sight. Then comes the first emergency attempt

16:16 Looking at the photos, Kris seems to be carrying the bottle in her shorts pocket when she not carrying the backpack. I'm wondering if the bottle was in the backpack here as they posed for photos reaching the high peak at the end of the Pianista trail. It's also known that some of the photos were taken with the Canon camera and others with the cameras on their phones. This can account for some of the discrepancies/ differences in picture quality.

Kris's hair in the night photo looks like a girl using a backpack for a pillow. It's scraggly and frizzy but would be free from dirt or leaves. Now they only had one backpack, one pillow, what did the other one use? They used the other's body.. you can lay your head on the other person and they use the backpack. They could have taken turns using this method or even shared the backpack.

Its really crazy to think that the girls were photoshopped...... i can show you pictures in which its sunny in one sec and in another its really cloudy. Also you have to think about that the cameras These days werent as good as today

Seems to me like a bunch of baseless wild speculations based on super blurry pictures. No offense but there is rock solid evidence out there, suggesting foul play but this just isn't it. For instance regarding the backpack it makes actually a lot of sense if you think about it: since the girls only got one backpack it made sense to split the duties. One girl carries it on the way up, the other one on the way down the trail. If you check the pictures, you're gonna realize that's exactly what happened. I don't doubt that the girls have been on that trail. The mystery is what happened to them once they returned from that trail in Boquete.

I believe the water bottle is under her arm attached to the back pack in the photo. Look at 16:21.

You are terrible at lining up photos. Wow. You have one bush repeated and completely missed that in your photo alignment. Look @21:53 in the middle of your work. You have the bush with red leaves repeated twice. That is terrible alignment of photos.

According to what I heard, the girls went up the trail in a 4x4 taxi, only a short way . A year later the taxi driver was found dead. The selfie picture of them at the beggining of the trail, shows the reflection of what appears to be a 4x4 vehicle. According to another source, one of the employees of Il Pianista restaurant is a gang member and he might be the origin of the story about them going up the trail with the dog. He may also be the one who tipped off the other members of the gang who abducted the girls.

They were never even on the Pianista trail at all.

Now that you mention it , this picture does look odd, but after looking at it again. I think by looking at the shadow cast by the fence posts, the sun is from Lisanne's back right This seems consistent with the lighting on her body. There is a weird spot above her right Knee, I guess that could be just the sun, but it looks strange. It still looks photoshopped by just the feeling you get from just looking at the picture.

I wish their souls is in peace. But we all know the souls of the two girls are still crying for their justice. Lesson learned dont go hiking its very dangerous and you are out numbered. There need to be more reporting on lot of foreign girls who disappeared in those jungles. One girl who was abducted and repeatedly raped by her captives in those jungles until she escaped. That guide lived in those jungles and threatened girls with his machete in the past as well. The guide knew where the girls were.

I see zero evidence for foul play. I can pretty much explain everything naturally for being lost and injured for too many days. I can explain a possible reason for the injury. I bet the location of the night photos is around fifty feet from the first monkey bridge down stream.

Wow even your analysis of the weather is terrible. No wonder you come to some terrible conclusions. Check the weather data for that day!! There was a cloud break directly over the summit that day. There was heavy cloud layer to the NW and clear sky to the SE. This is why in some of the photos the light appears diffused. And in others the sun is clearly shining down. There were intermittent clouds burning off over the top of them. If you had lined up your photos correctly, you would have seen this.

I don't think these photos were edited with Photoshop. And the "selfie-stick" isn't a stick, it's the arm of Chris, who looks very elongated through the sunglasses. And Lisanne's bracelets are not bracelets, but hairbands ... when she pulls her hair together, logically, they can no longer be seen on the wrist because she wears them in her hair. And the backpack on the rock: the photo is so overexposed that something black now looks gray.

A noise comparison would easily show if the images were photoshopped. You made a very compelling point about the dog not being in any of the images, that is interesting.

It would help if you put the photos in order. The reason Kris has a water bottle at the end was because that was when they went off trail and were being followed so they were going further than expected. Look at the dark entrance in the deep forest and her facial expression, that indicates she was not comfortable.

OK, so you find it suspicious that the two girls went on a solo jungle trek dressed for a stroll in the park? What's the point? That they didn't actually go hiking? Well, they obviously did. They went into a tropical forest without a guide, extremely ill-prepared, with little or no food and nothing to protect them from the elements. People make mistakes, and as seen in this case, all it takes is a string of poor decisions and some bad luck and you're doomed! Simple as that. K and L were naive and inexperienced and succumbed to the jungle. This may not sound as fancy as all these elaborate crime theories but I believe that's what happened.
