1991tommygun if it's not pouring out coolant no dont turn it off. The temp will spike way higher after you shut it. Let the waterpump and rad do their thing at idle

I'm not saying you're wrong, because you aren't completely wrong, but using "they aren't even the same material" isn't really a good argument. Look at GM small block V8s, they have multiple iron & aluminum block engines that are more or less the same but just different materials.

If you dont have experience driving, dont even set foot in one of these. Straight death trap for someone that just knows how to do burnouts. The Viper is just a badass car for real though. If you havent seen one of these pulling up in the rear view, check it out. My bro used to have a 94 rt/10 and i was in his 2006 Z06 with a supercharger just cruising at the time. Great memories! This car was way ahead of its time. Unlike any car design on the road 🤙

I have owned 3 vipers now and i can guarantee that viper was not overheating, these run very hot and just because its over the middle line does not mean its its overhead by anymeans. I own an 09 now so dont have to deal with that but the older ones just run very hot.

In 1987 Chrysler bought Lamborghini for 25 Million. In 1990 they built the Diablo together and sold Chrysler Lamborghini in 1994. The Viper Project started in 89-90 in Collaboration with Carroll Shelby so the Diablo and Viper share some lineage. Since the Viper had a Manual gearbox all the way through the production it's more of a car that I would want to drive but I'm not a Lawyer. Automatic gearboxes and driver aids are for fast cars, Manual gearboxes are for fast drivers.
