Just the other day on a certain popular automotive website, I saw a late 90's Honda Orthia stationwagon wearing an EK Civic face. It had the Type R vibe, and so does this one that I saw a year or two back. I'm unsure what's under the bonnet, but whatever it may be, it's backed by a manual gearbox. The front seats, I believe are legit Type R's. I mean, they are, right?

As a BIG wagon fan, this totally rocks! And yes I’d daily-drive the heck out of this! Hate the initial start and tear down of a big car project, but always enjoy the end result when it’s a success!

WasabiCars These wheels are Enkei ES Tarmac. The Type-R Integra DC2's also have wheels made by Enkei. That's why they look so similar.

The wheels on the Intergra type R are factory oem 96 spec wheels. Those on the Honda Orthia are Gab Sports Wheels. They are vert similar but slightly thinner spokes on the factory 96 spec type R wheels.

I've been cutting my own hair for years. I usually wait until it gets really shaggy because it's hard to do sometimes. When I'm done, it's such a relief. I usually get compliments too. A nice plus!

I read the article by Kat too. I was pretty amazed by it. I remember there was a wagon available for the EG series. I'll see if I can find some photos of that wagon. Rims look as the OEM type r rims indeed. Qotd: going to work. Most of the time u feel great afterwards.:)

Hi, Daniel. Exelent vid as usual. Wheels look to be Enkei. I'd say one of the 'Tarmac' range. Available as OEM on a few cars as I understand. I have OEM Enkeis on my Ignis Sport.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the wheels on this wagon are 'Enkei Bajas', similar but not the same as the ones on the Integra.

Ya, I wouldn't mind driving that Honda around! QOTD: I've had this weird thing happen to me in which I was commissioned to draw something *VERY* complicated! and It was just annoying to have to draw! I started to hate drawing because of it... When I finally finished the damn thing, I felt so awesome! and got back into drawing like nothing! XD Y'see, Dan it's one of those things where something you love starts feeling *more like work then an actual hobby*! I'm just glad I finished it! Now I got other stuff to draw! XD

Cool. Would be awesome if it had type R power. I would love to see some videos of some jdm cr-zs I know they aren't vintage but would be cool to see some custom ones. As for you question I think working out and cleaning are both things that are sometimes not fun but you feel much better after.

That Orthia wagon should have a 4X100 lug nut pattern similar to the Civic EK (96-2000 MY unless it's a Type R model which has a 5X114.3 lug nut pattern). The Integra Type R (96-97) in your earlier video should be a 4X114.3 lug nut pattern. The wheels from the Orthia look similar to those on the Integra Type R but the lug pattern between both cars are different.

Do you still find orthias in japan? That's unexpected, i was very impressed when i saw a 1990's nissan AD parked in a mall of fujinomiya i never expected to see peru's number 1 car on original RHD. This example is perfect to show to America (i'm talking about he continent) that wagons can be sporty cars, they aren't boring! :D Question of the day: i must say study, i mean, i'm very lazy, but when you study hard, you end up passing tests and you got vacations without summer classes, and that's the best of the world.

Well, that depends, if it is about something i'm interested for, i read and research with anything avilable, but, when i was at school, i hated reading, for some reason i couldn't focus even if i wanted to, and also, if i got free time i just like to rest, or hard work on my projects until midnight, the other day i got until 3 AM fixing a walkman i have. Success! I cannot say my dad is strict but he is not someone that does nothing when he knows i got homework and i'm playing arround, normally, when he's not on project, he studies with me at home, that's very efficient, my mother is the same. :)

A lot of incorrect info about the wheels floating about in these comments; the ones on this Orthia are Enkei ES Tarmac, whereas the DC2 Integra had the OEM 96 Spec wheels which are also made by Enkei. They look similar except the DC2 wheels are 8 spoke rather than 10. And yep the front seats are EK9 or DC2 Type R seats.

On the Wiki for this car, it says it came with a B16B (same engine at the EK9). Am I seeing that right? If so, this thing is an awesome car (with or without the EK9 front clip).

to make a correction it actually came with a b18b and some versions with a b20 but auto only with the b20 unless of course you made a conversion to manual

Ive got the original one (civic) with spec 98 integra engine :) "check the video's on my channel" I like this station thing, but there arent any orthia's here in the netherlands.. Otherwise i had built one! Oh and i hate polishing my car but after seeing the end result im happy :D

the ITR was a 96 spec they all came with those white wheels from the factory, but made by the wheel manufacture Enkei but the wheels on the Honda are different but maybe same manufacture but they are a completely different wheel

Wedsport wheels? I would of thought he/she would of chamged the whole interior to match the Type R. Can see the red Recaro's, red stitching shift boot (I think), and the titanium gearknob. Did the engine get swapped, do you know?

I took down rotted section of fence ,., replaced it , then repaired the rest of it . Also did the rear sound proofing in my 97 Teg as well as rewired dash lights and repositioned my voltometer to a more sensible location , then did more yard work . Sunday was a busy day LOL . SPEAKING of TEGS the rims are similar but not the same . Teg has 8 spoke and civic 10 spoke ... 10 spoke heavier therfore probably lower quality . Road worthy but not true track material basically . Dont no the brands but betting they two different brands , maybe BBS and FALKEN ?

The Honda orthia... basically a wagon version of the ek series civic... wasn't meant to be a performance model but more of a luxury model... the delivery version is known as the Honda Partner which this car is based on. The partner was sold with 1.3l, 1.5l and 1.6l sohc engines and lacked most of the amenities this car has.. . The Origins in contrast had the bigger b series motors and sometimes came 4wd... This one tho... you could turn into a epic type R wagon...😋😋😋

I bought a light front end bumped 1986 Honda Civic Wagon for my wife a good few years ago , just needed a bonnet (hood for the yanks LOL) and a pair of headlights easy peazy I thought there 2 a penny "wrong" the 4 door 2 door and wagon all have different front ends all slightly different and do not cross over what a chew on graft the lights in proper bodge job LOL , had to split the skin from the frame on the bonnet hammer and dolly the skin up then reweld and fill the whole bonnet , what a nightmare .

their not the same wheels the ones on the integra are stock type R wheels 4x114 and the ones on the civic wagon which is awesome by the way are some after market wheels not sure on the brand but they look good great video

I do like sporty/muscle wagons. As for the QOT, I would say cooking. I don't do it much, and I don't like how much time it takes, but when I make something good, it's worth it. :)

wheels are slightly different, integra was 8spoke civic was 10spoke, dunno what wheels they are tho. QOTD: cleaning, but also, preparing to go cycling, i enjoy it during but i procrastinate doing it all the time due to simple 'getting read and getting there' -_-

There is a lot of incorrect information on these posts. The integra wheels are the stock type R wheels. 95-97 JDM R 4x114.3 then latter goes to 98-00 JDM R 5x114.3. On the orthia is a 4x100. Hopefully that helps. Who ever posted up these are a Honda HX wheels they are incorrect. They never had a HX in Japan also have no coupe either. Also HX wheels are a very skinny wheel, not a ideal race set up.

Danial, the wheels on the DC2 Integra Type-R are the OEM Type-R wheels and the ones that are on that Orthia are knock offs of those wheels. If I remember correctly, the OEM ITR wheels were made by BBS. i297.photobucket.com/albums/mm227/MB_Davy/Integra%20Type%20R/14-2-09D-F.jpg

yes those are the oem dc2r rims for the '96 spec and then the '98 spec received and updated 16" set of rims with 5 lug nuts and from what ive been told they are made by enkei, but perhaps the '96 spec rims were made by bbs im not sure.

I've never seen the four lugs up close before, but from what I know they are either made by Enkei or BBS. Now, they look like USDM Honda Civic HX wheels, but what sets them different is that the bolt pattern is 1x114 instead or 1x100 or something of that sort.

Thats what I thought too. The rims on the wagon are enkei, the rims on the Integra are the stock type R rims of that model. They look almost identical as Honda copied the design.
