Those will be coming out very soon! I just took of the plow after I shot this video, so now I’ll be able to get in to everything. The home maintenance kit will likely be a multi-part series similar to how I did the X580 home maintenance kit.

Your PTO switch also doubles as another RIO switch just like the little yellow button on the other side. When you pull up to engage the PTO, you can pull it up just a bit more and hold it so you can mow in reverse. Kinda gives you options on which hand you use.

I would, but there isn't anything to show. The two use the same lever. When you have the 3 point installed, the cylinder gets flipped around to the hitch rockshaft is directly powered by it. A metal strap is then connected to this and the deck lift rockshaft, which actuates the deck lift. So same function. I could show how to lock one or the other out, is that what you are asking?

Possibly, I’m not too sure. I’m betting they are for the European exports, the X9XX series. They may have turn signals and/or hazard lights, possibly as an option. Never really looked into this though. I’ll have to do some digging!

I think they are for the European X900 series. Those I'm pretty sure have backup alarms and turn signals, as well as horns, I could be wrong, but all of these options are found in parts diagrams.

well you only have a couple options. There is the little buck/bull whatever it is, and the CTC loader. Deere unfortunately doesn't make one for on the newest machines (X73X/X75X). mmrbeef on youtube is actually having a shop fab some brackets to put a deere loader on his 758, but you have to find a deere loader first, and then either make or have the brackets made. I would buy a CTC though. Most people are going to tell you that. The build is way nicer and I think it would be one you would still want even if you went with a different loader.

Don’t think there is one. Pretty sure all the X74X tractors are ultimate. Some are special edition, those ones have fancier steel wheels.

Did you fully raise the deck and then try to turn it? Hold the upper lever back for a few seconds to ensure it is all the way up. Any weight on that knob and it won’t turn.

@@JoshsGreenGarage I did indeed. Read elsewhere you have to shake the deck a bit by hand to free up that knob if it does get locked by the weight, so I'm trying that next.

You don’t ‘have’ to have it, but your experience will be much better with one. I’d imagine the curl uses the yellow/silver circuit, so if you don’t have that valve, your curl will be really slow.

You can bypass this easily with a 2-3” piece of wire and 2 male spade connectors… I just decided not to do it on mine, and I don’t know that I want to make a video on it…

So the diff will remain locked until pressure is equalized on each side of the diff. Have you driven it straight? Try that, and also try going straight backward. If it doesn’t pop up then, try lifting it with your hand and checking the linkage. Follow the linkage back to the transaxle, and see if it is connected to the trans. There should be a pin and spring clip holding it into small lever. I can’t remember at the moment if the lever is spring loaded, or is internal, I’ll have to check, but may be something internal if the linkage is connected.

@JoshsGreenGarage well I have driven it some but not much. I do know that the differential isn't locked. I'll take it out and drive it some more in a straight line to see if that helps. Fingers crossed! Thanks for your help. I'm hoping It's not broke!

Well if you can turn and it isn’t dragging the wheels then yeah I’d say it’s unlocked, and if the pedal stays down still, it’s gotta be a broken spring or the linkage isn’t connected. You may be able to look at my 3-point install video, part of that involves the linkage, but it’s tight in there, so I may not have shown it very well.

@JoshsGreenGarage ok thanks so much. I'll check it out when I get home . I know the rear isn't locked. I've seen others posted for sale that have the orange knob down all the way. So mine isn't the only one out here with this problem.

I went to look at it and realized that the orange knobs was up. It must have popped up at the last minute when pulling in into the barn and I never noticed it. So that leaves this question to ya... If that was pressed down (I do know it was down) the differential should've been locked up correct? I turned it sharply numerous times and didn't notice the wheels hopping around or tearing my lawn up..

It does! The 738 is exactly like the 758 but it is gas instead of diesel. All the functions are the same!

Push the brake pedal, turn the key.
